I miss my grandchildren so,so much & only get to see two them on FaceTime as they live more than 2 kilometres away ....I don’t know which is worse seeing my grandchildren who live closer through the window it’s so sad for everyone.....but I feel blessed to be able to see them at all....Miss their snuggles so,so much....x
I live with my sister and her two toddlers and my mom stopped by to give an Easter basket and talked through the door to my niece and nephew and every single person was in tears when my mom was leaving (especially her) because they wanted her to come inside. Poor George I get it buddy

My father used to plant the purple flowers that look like a bunch of grapes. They were called grape hyacinths. We also had small daffodil like flowers called jonquils. They’re very English.
It is a hard time right now for everyone and I've noticed my 7 year old son's personality and behaviors have been different. Its so hard for them to understand just like it is for us. I love that you took cookies to family! So sweet! And George was just precious.

Aww poor George!! He is such a beautiful old soul! All this stuff is hard on kiddos like him. You can tell he is definitely on a higher level than kids his age. You can hear it in his everyday day dialogue with you guys! Dad, When you thanked him for using the hose and he responded with "Anytime!!" is just one of so many examples. This will be great for James too because she just imitates and repeats alot of what George is already saying. She will probably be putting together more complex sentences sooner. She has such a wonderful learning tool not only in Georgie (everytime I hear you guys call him that it just makes me think of my dad and his mom, my grandma and his grandmother, .my great-grandmother, they both always called him Georgie when they were alive, my dad was Georgie and my Grandfather was George/Senior) sorry as I digress.....its not hard for me to start rambling on and get all off topic!! Lol!! It happens.

My Mama has a HUGE front deck and most of my family has been over to her house and sat outside with her (atleast 12 feet apart) and visited. I havent gone over because I know my daughter would just want to run up to her and hug her. Its been a very hard 6 weeks.
As a mom who started her maternity leave the first week of February and then had it extended because of this quarantine... I feel exactly like George 😅 I miss my entire family and have not left my house in over two months. 😓
Oh and I loved your garden! I wanted to garden when we moved out to my own property We have horses and goats and deer and it just was a disaster. The goats Have eaten everything we've ever planted lol

My mom lives a hour away and works at the hospital. I take the kids to see her occasionally and we sit outside the house. They don’t understand why they can’t go in the house or give hugs or kisses to their Geeta. It really is sad.. I feel your pain you guys 🙁

I have not held my grandson for five weeks. In that time he celebrated his 3rd birthday, and of course we couldn’t see him for Easter, or my birthday today. Thank goodness for social media, so we can at least see him on FaceTime. I cannot wait to hug him and kiss him a thousand times.

Oh it broke my heart 💔 for poor Georgie!! I wanted him to go inside too. My granddaughter is begging us to come over. She is almost 4. It helps to call on FB live and we sit there and talk and get to be goofy together with the filters. But it hurts because I can't hug and kiss our daughter or our baby girl. We have taken up gardening too. I LOVE your double bloom daffodils!! Besides Gerbera daisies, daffodils are my favorite!! So far we have 3 azalea's and a camellia bush. I am going to order 4 more larger azalea's, but these are in a 4 pack and a couple of colors I haven't ever seen. Orange and yellow. Here in my town, it is full of azalea and dogwood. But for some reason this property has neither. The dogwoods will be next spring I think.

I had a mouse in my House (twice) and it was the most terrifying thing that ever happened. (I lived alone, it pooped everywhere, and had a phobia). Ur reaction was nothing short of admirable and a complete opposite of myself.

Any of those little rodents give me the heebie jeebies, you are a brave girl. Last summer we had voles and that looks more like a vole than a mouse. Voles can destroy your flower beds and lawn, they make little tunnels just under the grass and you will see the grass turn dead where they have been tunneling, as well they love to eat the roots of the flowers. I hope for your beautiful yards sake that it is a mouse and not a vole. I am keeping my fingers crossed we will not have a problem this year, but we did trap a few over the winter.
the other day we face timed with my mom, she leaves in st. Louis mo and we cant go see her cause of covid. my daughter got really upset that we couldnt go see her mimi. we normally go once a month and we haven't since February . my daughter is 4 and we have explained to her that there is a sickness and we don't want to get her mimi sick (we don't have it) my mom has diabetes so she is already compromised. it is so hard on kids
