Be great to have one with all of the ones they do with a little overview and tips. Like I have a wide foot but small ankles, don’t think I will be in the skate park with them...so these sound good. Be nice to see them compared to all the ones 🛼💕
Loved the honesty of this review as I was so tempted to try my Riders at the park but knew I would destroy them there. The Riders will definitely be my bike path/ beach / look cute skate. I’ll keep shredding in my Lolly’s at the park. Thanks Moxi!
Stay tuned for a live Q&A with Estro Jen right after the video premiere (12:30 PST) where Estro will answer anyone’s questions regarding the Rainbow Rider skates!
I really appreciate not just the whole video purpose, but these professional skaters themselves. They went to a skatepark with skates not suitable for it, putting themselves at risk for injuries, ankle ones specially, just to show us why they are not made for that
Loved product testing with you all! I use my rainbow Riders to cruise at the beach, to dance & cruise the streets with! Loosely laced so I can slip them on & off easily. Trucks loosened to my liking & if you want more comfort you can insert an insole or wear thicker socks! Love the skates so much!
This is still such a great starter skate at a more affordable price ❤️✨ great for the strand / jam skating / learning / or just going from a-b ! Love you moxi and estro ✨✨ if you are considering skating this is a great boot to get you out there! Most of all have fun and be kind to everyone ! 💖
Being a rainbow rider owner myself, these are great outdoor skates for anyone but not skate park skates 🛼 Love them though, swapped them out with rainbow light up wheels and get so many compliments at the skate rink!
@@agneshenry6499 .They are not skate park skate because they are very dangerous for the skate park and they are not the best quality either. They don’t have strong enough plates that would really handle skate park skating and the first day you would do it the skates would basically fall apart. They are great for outdoor skating and rink skating and straight skating but they are definitely not for skate park use and you might end up getting hurt. Watch the video for more information.
I love Maxi so much! There are always so cute and has honest product rewiews. It seems like they want people to have what's good for them instead of just trying to make money
This is amazing, I am literally howling at the music and sound effects and I'm only 3:24 in so far. Recently bought myself a pair and can't wait to test them out. More reviews need to be in this kind of format tbh.
I started with a similar quality vinyl boot (before upgrading to panthers and I have 2 things to say: 1.the toe drags in this video were brutal (my past skate-self is shaking) and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone without a toecap regardless of skate material (even some crazy titanium weave skate). 2. I am really glad moxi has made such a low price point skate, If I hadn't been able to start off on my budget boot I don't think I ever would have gotten into skating (cause let's be honest, for a total newbie $200+ for skates seems intimidating) let alone be able to even skate a panther today.
I just started the video but thank you for the captions on the video, I always have captions on my TH-cam but sometimes they're just not right and I really appreciate it 🥺
Thank you for the honest product review! I just bought two pairs of Rainbow Riders - one for my 14yo daughter and one for me. She doesn't know how to skate and I haven't been on a pair since the late '80s, so we're definitely beginners! We'll upgrade to more expensive ones if we decide to really stick with it. I've been doing SO much research for Christmas and I really love everything about your brand. I hope skating builds her confidence!
Wow just in time. Just ordered them for christmas and you guys are amazingly thorough with all the questions I could have about them. Thank you SO much♡
Ive just ordered a pair from ebay....the pink and yellow were reduced to £51.99 with free next day shipping!! Im in Britain. I bought the yellow. I havent skated since the early 80s, im 55, and a bit nervous....ive already bought 2 of my grandchildren skates ready for Christmas, so hopefully ill be anle to skate with them...and love it as much as i did back in the day! If not, ill probably get my money back if i sell them on! They arrive tomorrow...im sooo excited!! Off to buy my protection now Thanks for the review
Thank you so much for this honest review! Although hilarious, I made up my mind to get a pair for learning ...now I have to wait for them to be in stock 😅♥️
I also would like to know because some of the reasons listed in the video seem totally fixable, like changing the wheels and toe stops and putting a toe guard on, no?
I would love to upgrade to Moxi's jack boot skate. But I cant afford it so I gotta stick with the rainbow riders, cause it's better to just skate in those than nothing at all.
Yes you know your skates! Thanks for the information your doing great! Very honest if you want to go to the park you will have to buy the best skates for it! 👍
Would you guys recommend these skates for mild skating at the park, like for someone whos never skated in a park and wants to take it super slow? And more importantly, are they good for dancing? Specifically indoors.
Hey! Sorry for bothering but I wanted to buy a pair of Rainbow Riders but I'm not sure about the sizing. The chart says 246mm is a Moxi7 and 256 is a Moxi8, I'm exactly 247mm, should i go with 7 or 8? I'm afraid that the boot won't fit :c
Think I’ve finally found my skate that has awesome price point for getting back into skating and is also available lol! But had a few questions..... Just getting back into skating since I was a young teenager ( now in early 30’s) in which I mostly did boardwalk cruises, rink and street skating , but now looking to venture into dance skating and maybe light park play. That said been doing a lot of research and these are the questions I have before I finally pull the trigger. - will these be acceptable use as is in a rink? I live in northern New York cold and snowy currently so will be doing weekly rink runs until the weather breaks . - if I did want to do light park play , like just goin up and down ramps , what bushings/cushions would you recommend up heading to? And perhaps tow stops too, which I will likely up grade regardless of skate park. - Is this a decent outdoor dance skate? Wheels: sticky/squishy-ness, and size? All signs point to yes but have to ask (: And lastly, do you also have children sizes? Don’t think so but again, had to ask . Thanks so much and look forward to supporting and rocking moxi Anna joy aka joy ride
Very entertaining and original way to discuss the benefits and limitations of a new product and compare to other products within a brand's range. Maybe a little too long, a few parts could have been cut (imo)
I know the review says not to😩. But these are the only skates I had so I took them to the skate park with harder wheels and they felt perfectly fine, but I would wait a few months until u break them in, the plate can also fit a wild bones grind block, because it’s the same as impalas
So out of curiosity... could these be “modified” for the skatepark? I’m a beginner when it comes to quads, and I’ve only skated at the rink, but I would like to skate outside... I do lace these a little tightly, out of concern and comfort from my in-lines, so I get that is something I’ll have to keep an eye on, and that I might have to “pinch” the hooks once in a while, but all in all, with a purchased toe protector and maybe different toe-stop, would these be passable for graduating from rink->road->early skatepark attempts?
Hi I looked for the cheap price as I bought this rainbow rider and didnt know that its just for basic and beginner. At pigeon store didnt tell me about the specific with different kind of skates. I wish I could knew I would rather buy lolly and save up money until I can get it. I am good skate at the rink but didnt do much outside when i was younger. I used that rider at the rink better than nothing. I am not sure what kind of street can I use with this rider. I need help. Beside just beach path. Is that all?
