When I use him I play the long game of building up something like 8 tremor count, use their S3 to give them 10 tremor potency, then move on to build the rest of their tremor count. Next time I use their S3 the boss now has 20 or so counts of 10 tremor added to whatever they have. Though I will admit, I avoid their S1 like the plague.
I do use Soda Lu in Mirror Dungeons, but never for the healing. It's usually "Oh, I'm about to use an envy resonance effect, and need as much Envy this turn as possible. Time to pull out the worst EGO in the game to make all the others better."

amusing opinion esgoo, unfortunately i am inside your walls with: First Turn Start of an Encounter: all allies gain 4 Poise Potency and +4 Poise Count. When activating Pride Absolute Resonance, all allies gain 2 Poise Potency and +2 Poise Count at Combat Start.
dont forget the GOAT ++ upgrade that makes the potency and count gain go to +3 AND makes the activation condition regular degular old Resonance instead of Absolute Resonance, so you dont even need to line up 3 pride skills in a row and can just have 2 period.
I mean if you count mirror dungeon stuff you can run literally anything and have it work with a little luck. We have to operate as if they're in 'normal' conditions until we know more about specific situation. I mean fuck, I've had W-corp BLEED teams because of ego gifts.
Thats a nice video, however there is many reasons why it doesnt matters for me,i will name 3. First is that Hong Lu's ids are above average consistantly,if not one of the best ids,but egos are like below awerage. Second is you can beat the game as long as you not crippling yourself and reading,if it works,it works. And third is that my love for Hong Lu is undeniable,i will love all of Hong Lu's egos and ids no matter how bad those are for usual player they are,Praise be Hong Lu.

Honestly I have to think this is an intentional joke. He gets a magical girl transformation in his animation, he uses *two* statuses he doesn't have any current support for (poise and tremor on his corrosion), the healing is literally like he's just giving them a little sip from a tiny soda can... and honestly it fits the lore of the abnormality! In Lobcorp the soda vending machine was a goofy, zayin grade abno that was almost impossible to fail at, and even if you did fail the employee wouldn't die but be whisked away to work on a shrimp fishing boat (which considering the workplace safety standards of L Corp could almost be called favorable). It was and always has been a goofy borderline joke existence, and I think that was reflected really well here. It felt like they were saying "don't take it too seriously" and yknow, it's honestly pretty funny
The only reason I dislike Lifetime Stewclair more than Soda Hong Lu is because back when I was grinding Hell's Chicken, Sinclair only seemed to hit tails, which gives burn to its targets, even if they're allies, and when I got Soda Hong Lu I was at least happy that his tails effect didn't actively damage my team, though nowadays I do think they are both horrible.
I thought this would be about 4th Match Flame Yi Sang. While I don't think Soda Lu is *good* by any means, I always thought about Soda Lu as a "Fluid Sac we have at home" and I still use Soda Lu in my envy res teams that include Ting Tang Hong Lu. The current Opportunity Cost for equipping Hong Lu with Soda also isn't really that bad at the moment, It's either Soda or Roseate Desires, neither of which are great. Roseate is very niche in what it can do, and while Soda realistically only either heals HP or SP in negligible amounts that is a lot less niche compared to what Roseate can do. The only thing FMF Yi sang has going for it is that it's a 5 attack weight on a TETH and Slash, and it's going up against Wishing Cairn. Who has a higher floor than fmf's ceiling, has 3 attack weight, and is usable for it's EGO passive alone
