Great amp but Mikes playing in these demos fascinates me the most, one of the best ever and a cool person will listen back to his playing and videos forever...
tswrench Yeah, I just googled this guy because I wasn't familiar with his work until now, and I was shocked to learn he died in September. Tragic. What a brilliant guitarist. RIP, indeed.
Didn't realize we had lost him. What great demos and such a nice touch and feel. Only problem with players like this is that he sounds better than I ever have or will. RIP
It's been a while I've been watching Michael's reviews and this one like any other he did is a pure wonder of elegance. Thank you, great great stuff. Fantastic player.
Yeah, thanks! After trying a Supro Dual Tone, I had my pennies being saved, but this thing sounds and looks even better. Definitely leaning towards this now. And as someone else said, this guy does play with a rock star elegance. Fascinated to see what else Supro come up with.
Sounded great, in part because of the delicious reverb which, of course the amp doesn't have. I wish the demo were more representative of the amp alone
Actually basex on the Legendary God amp that was used for the entirety of Zeppelin 1. Actually the original was i think a 2x10 Coranado which Jimmy had the baffle taken out and turned into a 1x12.
Sounds great, but you might want to be a little more upfront with what effects you're using too. I'm hearing reverb and delay, at least. Not sure if a attenuator is being used too.
Micky Bergqvist I suspect the delay & reverb was added after the amp ( as you probably would when recording with this amp ) delay in front of an amps gain stage doesn’t sound great.
I have a 1965? Gretsch Bass amp. I think it is Valco Supro. A bad bass amp, an incredible guitar amp. Just had it recapped. It sounds similar to my 78 Marchall 50w

RIP, Michael Casswell, Godspeed. Your talent and instruction has and will continue to inspire players everywhere..

@@jimmcmahon8817 He drown while swimming in Spain. When this video was posted he had 3 months left to live.
Miss this man's reviews and playing. RIP Michael.
Great watching Michael reviews... The problem is he makes every guitar and amp sound amazing !!!
I just bought one 4 days ago. I LOVE this amp!!
Without doubt Michael is one of the very best reviewers and players on TH-cam.

I can't decide which I like more - the sound of this amp, or simply listening to Michael Casswell talk about it.
Still not over it. What a talent.

Great demo - great playing and great tones ... Makes it look easy .. RIP MC
Love Michael's playing... really a great match for this amp.
Outstanding demonstration of this amp. Very well done~!
yep that's a badass amp !
That's one hell of a great sounding amp, Michael's playing doesn't suck either. This would be a killer slide guitar amp.
Love your playing.
Damn. He was so good. Rip
Great demo .... I already know they sound great clean. I need to know the amp can Rock.
Holy fuck. That man can play. He would sound good playing a stringed potato.
RIP, My Friend!!

Finally a demo that isn't strummy led-zep riffs. Thanks for showing how amazing this amp can sound.
What was your signal chain to get the reverb in there ?
dude is killin
Is he tuned to an open tuning? Sounds like slide guitar without the slide. RIP Mike.
Sounds great, but you might want to be a little more upfront with what effects you're using too. I'm hearing reverb and delay, at least. Not sure if a attenuator is being used too.
i belive a loadbox cuz he crank up both volumes so ..
John Robie the “t” stands for tremolo...
@@robbylafont can you not hear the delay and reverb !?
Michael could make any amp sound amazing seems like, but he sure made this one sing
Have you added reverb/delay afterwards, or is it pedals in the front?

What is he playing?? Is just sweet!
the amplifiers sounds like it had reverb in it was that strictly the amplifier and the guitar making that reverb type of sound?
On this amp ,,,,if your back the tone knob down to zero it sounds like you have. a fuzz pedal attached like at 12:21
I dig that whammy bar use
Totally addictive, I agree
But did you realise he does not answer any questions ???? strange that .
He passed away.
