The worst type of teammate in a pug is the one who tells his mirage t team every round "just default" with the goal in mind that he should be the star lurker in the back of palace who keeps all his nades incase he needs them in the 1v5 late round.
No the most anoying is playing solo and having 4 bots rushing either B or A every fucking round, having no clue how to defaultset up and take any fucking map control. Then they die in the first 10 sec, and call the remaining players lurker or baiters. The guy who calls for a default is propably smarter then you, as most of the times you want to have information before you commit to anything.
thats how you play t side mirage. minimum 2+ top mid early, 1 apts/underpass, and 1 or 2 towards a. literally watch any high elo demo this is 80% of gun rounds.
I see all the silvers have piled up on here hahahahahaa.. Defaulting, getting mid control, and peeking off contact and putting pressure on the map is infinitely better than trying to blindly entry through nades in start of round or going 5-man rush on a site
Me as a balcony/pit player when he talks about setups with your truck side teammate: wait, your truck side teammate can fall back to site and play a setup without dying fighting top mid every round?
Thats not exactly true. They gonna play two on long holding long smoke just incase maybe sb can push because "They can push CT" and you just fight solo with apps and short push wo any cross fire, this tillting me every single time.
Me: you guys have truck side teammates? My fuckin teammates always are 3 on b in random lobbies because no one wants to play a. I've gotten very good at defending from pit and apps because of it, and I am at lower ranks as well.
Adding something for people who are interested, if i'm trying to take banana on an eco round so no money for lots of grenades i usually just carry one or two flashes and throw them as soon as I enter banana behind the wood plank at the car, prevents ct's from rushing most of the time and the plank protects you from flashing yourself

Thing about inferno, is that utility is literally 100% needed, you can carry people in other maps who don’t know lineups but inferno is different. Last map i added on the rotation as randoms where a pain in the ass.
Inferno is just painful, MM players at mid levels still have zero idea how to play it. I am a pretty bad player and can't usually go in solo and get two entry kills so I rely on some sort of basic setup, I know a few smokes, I can get top banana control most of the time solo, but it's pointless because the rest of the team is over on A peeking into awps, or they just won't push B with you, it tilts me to hell, Inferno is just a bad map to play in solo queue especially.
What I sometimes try to do when soloqueing is lurking on a site if my teammates went to the other one to possibly kill someone rotating away and ideally try to cut off site completly. Like going Church on B Inferno or CT on A
I always love being the only one covering some position, while the rest just rush down banana or mid and left me with a 3on1 or 2on1 most oft the rounds with enemy unknown. And if they rush the wrong position im 5on1 in big pit, killing 2-3 and my team then still loses in a 3on4 or 2on4 xD
Thanks Mr. Voo, I swear to god it happened to me at least 2 times in the last 2 weeks the guy said "I'm holding aps" and then he sits on graveyard from the beginning of the round, doing nothing and getting 0 info
Could you watch some pro-league demos and break down plays and why someone might have decided to do that play? Kinda like n0thing when he would break down his thoughts while playing. It could give some new-er players some more gamesense when it comes to knowing what to do.
From my experience there is two major issues (might be diffrent in EU compared to NA) on a relatively high elo is that people cant seem to understand how you actually commit on sites once you get map control. If CT play passively on both banana and/or brackets it seems like it always ends up being a crappy b execute, with shit flashes or the entire team just tunnel through short hoping for the best with a moto smoke and either no or just shit flashes. I mean im by no means a good player, im pretty average tbh but it feels like more often then not people know how to get map control but have no clue what to do with it and how to actually enter sites. But i guess thats the reason that i dont play solo/duo queue anymore unless there is high elo gathers up on esportal (european platform similar to faceit), i dont care if the people is similar to me in skill level aslong as they atleast try to do stuff together even when its poorely executed.

quick tip: try mix up things> try risk, for bomb plant example, try save up that utility dead with uti can be more usefull then wasting it sometimes just ofcourse, maybe not overspend on utility when you are T side it likely not save you but ruin your economy
If there is a one way smoke at banana. Throwing Molotov doesn't do much because flames will be shut down by the smoke, It only prevents pushing down the banana. However if you throw the counter smoke, the enemy cannot see in one way smoke. But nice video as always and, really help people to play on Inferno.
Good info here, just want to add that the biggest problem with pug teams on inferno is banana OBSESSION. CTs that insist on fighting for top banana control even if they get picked every round, Ts that full commit again and again when it's obviously not working.
EU here, basically as a solo I don't q for inferno anymore , because most of the time people don't know how to take map control/use utility to gain/counter aggression, then proceeds to aim duel 1v1 and get rekt. Their thought of play is to stand on t ramp and watch middle for potential peak till the end of time.
i got so many kill from graveyard it's unbelievable. it's hard to clear from apps (usually not checked) and a good spot to hide when Ts are going for a late plant. again, they usually dont clear it. but true... not every round i agree.
One more CT thing that bothers me is a bad Arch side player - please just use some nades to deny a mid or brackets rush, and learn when to rotate to moto when you get smoked off. Most T teams in pugs don't know how to use long or the CT wrap if you just don't die early.
‘And then you call a God flash in’… funny you say that, in the pugs I’ve been playing recently a god flash and a team flash seem to be the same thing 😂
I know... We played inferno only from silver4 to mge, won all the way to mge but once there the enemies got too good at it. Now our win% is 10% on inferno

I’m sure you’re a good player but I disagree, I do experience the bs that you mentioned but if you’re constantly moving and have good crosshair placement you can smack the fuck out of them pretty easy. The thing I don’t like tho is how sometimes they shoot you while they’re not even looking at you or prefire you before you even go around the corner. But I don’t experience that too often just here and there. Other than that it feels like playing against some very cracked people.
Question if anyone can answer: I usually smoke about where that 0:57/58 flash lands, i have had a lot of success with this smoke. Obviously an experienced awper can blindfire decently through this towards Banana corner, but for me it seems to stop a lot of early game aggression from A side CTs or at least slow down their information gathering if we are pushing B the smoke makes them think twice about pushing through. Or vice versa if we are pushing A and i throw that smoke, me and my team can usually use that to push apps quietly without them knowing or push up to the smoke without the enemy realizing. Highest rank is only Gold Nova 1, so obv have improvements to make but this smoke always seems to do a decent job for me especially with teams that don't Counter-AWP or Counter-SSG very well and let them get picks on us early. I've yet to throw a 1 way smoke there that benefited the CT team either, but maybe i'm just lucky.
One annoying thing is that people don’t know how to play early round t side. You flash mid default flash every single round. Molly banana every single round, and one thing that makes me want to scream is people who molly banana and then run with knife out only to die to the awper taking quick peek in the molly, when u should wait for the molly the burn a while before peeking banana.
Yup. Or you're the only person who isn't scared of banana so either you're solo'ing it which blows or no one going there AT ALL bc you don't have first spawn to contest banana in the first place and the CTs get free control.
Oh and let's not forget usually when this is happening, you're the only one aware that CTs can actually push middle so you're having to trade middle as well. Just a cluster lol
NO info about Long Control/ Arch, which is one if not THE most important thing to know as CT and T on Inferno because it allows fast rotation and splits... why?
you can drop utils now. so in theory only one could be throwing utilities to banana and spamming smoke with Negev AKA "lazer gun" while the others go flank.

this vid favors CT more
NO info about Long Control/ Arch, which is one if not THE most important thing to know as CT and T on Inferno because it allows fast rotation and splits... why?
I just learned that I play banana correctly thx that gave me a confidence boost ❤
Really good video! Agree on most of it
you can drop utils now. so in theory only one could be throwing utilities to banana and spamming smoke with Negev AKA "lazer gun" while the others go flank.
9:56 fucking FINALLY SOMEONE SAYS IT. I've been told by puggers to play pit IN THE BEGINNING OF THE DAMN ROUND. It didnt make sense in 1.6 and it doesnt now to play pit right off the bat.
Wish I watched this before week 8 of operation riptide
Quick question Voo. I know its a bit early to predict, but since the Major started today, who do you think will win it all?
astralis
edit: but no seriously, navi
@@vooCSGO yesn't

I just do not like this map, but I must learn for my teammates who love to queue it.

*Hope with this video you can get out NA mge!*
how 2 pley banana: throw as much stuff as possible (either side) then hope the best
HOW DO I GET THIS PRACTICE MAP?
The problem is that my teamates dont know how to play this map and i have to hard carry the damn team by clearing the site by myself so they can enter easily
istg i clear site without any help and the bomb stays in bottom banana long enough for the rotates to come and i dont have nades left to hold istg bro bro
maybe because the placement matches put me in silver but still my win % is currently 76% in my last 20 matches so i ranked up 3 times butr still istg i dont deserv this
Lost on Inferno today, rough match, 14-16 :(
My teammates dont even look at banana lol
Drink every time this guy says”pugs” or “eggzeck”
Yeah I know.
Play what you think you'll perform best. Thats the best option.
Negev banana is the proper way to play
voo forgot about arch
