Unbelievable performance. A concert in Poland with a song about the uprising against the nazi's in Warsaw in 1944 which has an enormous meaning for the Polish people. And still as you can see from the reaction of this crowd. This song is almost equal to a national anthem. I'm not even Polish but i still feel the emotion attached to it. All of their songs are about military history. (Apart from the the album Metalizer which was written before Primo Victoria but wasn't released until a few years after it was written.) The stories they tell cover everything from ancient greece to the very end of the 1900s. They are a truly unique band in the way they let their music tell stories from the past. Both the heroic moments that will make you feel proud no matter which nationality you belong to, to the darkest and most shameful parts of history that needs to be remembered no matter how difficult it may be. Sometime, a song can be written from a certain perspective to better tell the story but the band never take sides and their songs doesn't contain any political or religious messages, they just tell the stories. Hannes joined Sabaton in 2013 and his other band was Evergrey. Evergrey also has a song ft. Floor and if u look closely you can probably see a baby bump. The song is called In Orbit. This is before Hannes.

If you want the full experience when it comes to Sabaton I think a good starter pack is the way to go. :) So I will suggest 3 songs/performances/videos to showcase their things. After that, you are good to go in any direction you want. 1. Sorry, but this is a second-rate band. Yeah, for history buffs, sort of interesting, but compared with Rammstein, Nightwish (Sabaton's drummer is married to Nightwish' s lead singer), Tool, Slipknot, Queensryche, or just about any other decent metal band, their songwriting is primitive and they are amateurs on their instruments. Just being honest.

Hannes joined Sabaton in 2013 and his other band was Evergrey. Evergrey also has a song ft. Floor and if u look closely you can probably see a baby bump. The song is called In Orbit. This is before Hannes.

Since pretty much all their songs have a historic background, the animated story videos are great to get the context, and No bullets fly is something extra for sure. It's about an act of the greatest humanity in pretty much the worst possible time for humanity.

One of the most visually impressive music videos ever made. And that is not an exaggeration. :) And a really great song on top of that. It's about the hunt for and sinking of the german battleship Bismarck in WW2.

It's in Swedish so turn on the captions and be prepared to be amazed. There will be smiles from ear to ear mixed with tears and you get to experience what might be the greatest live experience ever. And some dont know what the word sabaton is, its a knights steel boots, a sabaton. Sorry, but this is a second-rate band. Yeah, for history buffs, sort of interesting, but compared with Rammstein, Nightwish (Sabaton's drummer is married to Nightwish' s lead singer), Tool, Slipknot, Queensryche, or just about any other decent metal band, their songwriting is primitive and they are amateurs on their instruments. Just being honest.
