I’ve just spent 3 months visiting indigenous people across northern Russia.Talking to them about there interactions with Russian settlers I have come to the conclusion the best thing we can do in Australia for our Aborigines is defund them to allow them to continue there 40,000 years culture.The Aborigines who assimilate with Australia can get free education and encourage into the workforce. I have mates who are aboriginal - according to the law - that you wouldn’t pick as abo if you met with them, and they both hold down good jobs and pay their way. It can mean that he is an aboriginee and a scholar or it can mean that he is a scholar in relation to aboriginal history but not necessarily of aboriginal descent.
