eco mode reduces engine output lowering your horsepower (runs off the battery more) mine is quite jumpy and quick acceleration with it off and it seems the brakes are quite touchy. but with it on it the car seems a lot more controllable and the brakes aren't so touchy but acceleration sucks
I just bought a fusion Energi 2019 , how do I select the mode ? When I leave for work in the morning on a full charge it uses the battery all up and than switches to hybrid mode . I would like to be able to switch it to hybrid mode for freeway driving and electric for city driving

Is there any way to update the lane keeping assist module on a 2013 ford fusion hybrid? And/or add the digital speedometer on my 2013 hybrid? I would assume my car could hit its own brakes if it has adaptive cruise control. It'll slowly stop itself to avoid a collision. Yet it doesn't automatically stop when the pre collision goes off. I just get the red flashing light and the beeping.
Reason I mention updating the lane keeping assist is its really spotty. Turns off on a curvy road, sometimes if the lane is wide it doesn't see the lanes.

My 2019 Fusion hybrid, exactly same as yours, generally gets 35-38mpg (also like yours as I saw). My son has an older model Prius and was complaining on an 18 hour drive that he was only getting 38mpg due to the wind. He said he normally gets 54mpg. Why doesn't the Fusion get gas mileage like that?
the gas milage can be effected by your driving style along with wind speed and direction. When I drive my Cmax hybrid I get 35mpg on average. my husband gets 40mpg + on average. -sarah

You would need to get with your local Ford service department. I'm not sure what it would cost.

There should be an EV mode button that allows you to go into all Electric mode or to hybrid mode.

I'm not sure about updating but you may have service look at it. Doesn't sound like it's working correctly.

Starting from the 2019 facelift, Ford doesn't display the battery level anymore, at least in Europe

What is max speed when EV mode is active?
EV mode doesn't change the speed of the vehicle.
85 mph is the max speed in EV mode.

Yes, driving style, wind, temperature, weight, AC and heat, hybrid battery quality, tire pressure, all affect MPG.
One thing that irritated me is the display doesn't actually show where you're at on needing an oil change....still gotta do it the old way
What is quiet start
Means it will use the battery first, not starting the engine up.
on 9.01 minute, what means, vehicle off or turn on, can you or somebody explain me....
It will turn the engine off after a certain amount of time if you have it in the on position.

Ah no wonder your gas mileage sucks. You use remote start. I was getting 51mpg in mine.
They could have done a better job on the display... but the Hybrid System works just as good as Toyota's!
