The White Gold is an excellent color. My employer bought 6 of the Hybrid Pursuit versions, and I liked them so much, I bought one. Very dependable, durable, & trouble free. On a recent trip out of Reno, NV, I averaged 92.8 mpg.
I just took a job that doesn’t have a company car provided for the first time in 15 years. So I’ve been out of the car market a long time. Bought a gently used ‘19 fusion hybrid sel yesterday. I think I will love it. Thanks for your video! This was very helpful!
On August 1-6, I rented this same car at the SEA-TAC Airport in Seattle. I have never been as impressed with a vehicle as I was with a Ford Fusion Hybrid. It took a few miles to realize how the cruise control was working. I'm almost ready to go to my local dealer to buy one. This car is sweet.
We’re leasing a 2019 Ford Fusion se hybrid and if you really want good mpg don’t accelerate quick, brake early and steadily, keep eco on, we’re getting 45mpg doing that, it’s not a sports car so don’t try to accelerate harsh
Yep, I do those things. Avg is 45.1 right now, and got 56mpg on the 10 mile drive back home from work the other day. Much better than the 16mpg I had in my 01 f150 lol, went from spending 50 a week to 30 every two weeks
Wow! Great video! Just purchased a pre-owned Fusion Hybrid today. Loved it during the test drive. And it also gets 2X the gas mileage as my previous car - bonus! Can't wait to drive it on a long-distance trip. Thanks again!
My first cars were hand-me-down Fords, Escorts to be exact. Now after riding in Fords again, as my girlfriend and I were looking at bigger vehicles, we've decided that Fords are for us. The comfort, the quiet, much different from other cars nowadays. She got an Explorer; I got a Fusion Hybrid. We live in Florida but if we were in Texas, we would have gone to your dealership. I want to thank you as yours were some of the first videos we watched in our research on what cars we would like to purchase. I get 41mpg combined city and long drives. I agree with what you said. Push the gas, then cruise. Going slow from a stop just decreased my mpg to 39. Cheers to you!
So i wrecked my '12 Fiesta of 5 years. Never was a Ford fan, more Nissan, Toyota, Honda person. I knew I wanted a Hybrid. Honda & Toyo too expensive. Really like the Sync/safety. My Daughter showed me a trick to cool the car before entering. Unlock as you approach and then hold down the unlock button for 4 seconds. Once you're in the vehicle, press and then hold the lock button to reverse the action. If you know, cool, if not try it and say, "Way Cool!"
I'm getting this vehicle here very soon, just need to sign the papers. Going from one hybrid to this one: If you live in a hilly area, once you are up to speed, release the gas and let the car regen going down hill
Whaoo a lot of standard equipment on this SE. I rented a 2017 Fusion Hybrid SE last year and I fell in love instantly with this car. 2017 did not have any of this standard equipment. I will be leasing this car the most probably.
Wilson Freitas - I agree with you and I think some day in the future Ford will wish they did not make that decision. Like when the next 2008 recession occurs and people won't pay $50,000 for a truck or suv that doesn't get comparable gas mileage. I will have to move to another brand because I am not interested in a truck or suv.
@Wilson Freitas I hear you. I am (also) fonder of the 90s era cars (eg Crown Victoria, Mercury Marauder, Bronco FS, Explorer Sport, Ranger). No infotainment.
I’ve had three fusion hybrids 2012 2013 and 2015 and still have 2015 hybrid best car I’ve ever owned and get really great gas mileage. Never had a bit of trouble Ford should have kept these cars being manufactured. They are better than Toyota Camrys. It’s just a super car.
My 2019 Hybrid SE all of a sudden is only getting 23 miles per gallon. I took it in to get it looked at and they swear they can't find anything wrong with it. That's the only Ford dealership around me, and they say they can't find nothing wrong but it seems to be revving high and seems to sound louder when it's in eco. Any advice or help would be welcome with this. I feel like the Ford dealership is waiting until the extended warranty runs out before they say that they find a
Shame there's no fog lights on the SE. I'd prefer the SE for the smaller wheels and cloth seats, so I guess I'm going without fog lights. At least I can swap out the halogen bulb for LED.
For your kick the engine in to accelerate that isnt the best idea because acceleration is the time that uses the most fuel so using the battery to accelerate and then the engine to cost in your case is more efficient
It depends on what trim level you have the lower trim levels may not have it. Since the Auto start is not showing in the app your vehicle most likely does not have that feature. you can look for Ford Pass Connect on your Window sticker if you still have it.
Keyless start, but still need the key to unlock the car? Why not just give the customer keyless entry too? Toyota has that system down perfectly. Otherwise this is number 1 on my list.
You just need the key on your person to unlock the doors, you don't have to push a button or even take the fob out of your pocket. It's proximity activated.
Ford makes a Hybrid and plugin hybrid. The Hybrid charges the regenerating battery when it brakes the earlier and long you brake the more the battery charges.
Amazing video and I appreciate it a lot! Just bought a 2019 Fusion SE and I’m loving it so far!
Just got mine yesterday. I upgraded from a 2016 Fusion. Bit of a learning curve switching to a hybrid but it's not too bad. Really love the car.
The White Gold is an excellent color. My employer bought 6 of the Hybrid Pursuit versions, and I liked them so much, I bought one. Very dependable, durable, & trouble free. On a recent trip out of Reno, NV, I averaged 92.8 mpg.
This is the best consumer car review I’ve ever watched. Just bought one of these and loved watching this to find out all the features!

Will this wear out your brakes faster?
Thank you for the excellent video, on the 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE! My Mom and I have a 2015 Ford Fusion S and we love ❤️ our 🚙!

Do you have a video on a 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Titanium

I did and tend to forget to mention it in some of my videos. Ford calls it Global windows.

Whoa! That's awesome.
Thanks for this video. It is a shame Ford is giving up on Sedans in the US.

@Wilson Freitas I thought I heard, from Scotty Kilmer, that they MIGHT be rethinking that as that sort of spoils the Lincoln sales.
@@vdelrio999 I watched that video too. I hope they keep the fusion otherwise I will have to buy a 1999 Celica 😀

Im getting one (like in the video) tomorrow...
That was super helpful! Thx. I just bought one used.

nice review, but what's great about that is you have said what's great about that way to many times.

Does the SE have heated mirrors standard? I thought it was just the SEL and above

that's a nice color!
does it have electric power tilt and telescope adjustment or not ?
Manual tilt/telescope steering wheel
I got the app and I can't auto start in the app. I got 2019 ford fusion energi

How do you turn on the heating in the car.
It should be in the Climate cluster
@@longmcarthurford Thanks, it was there. Think I've been studying this car tooo much.
wich APP ? Name please 🙏
FordPass
Send me link to the app you forgot to do that here can’t even find it with whatever you called it 4pass app doesn’t exist
FORD PASS!! NOT 4 PASS TF LOL
how do you charge it
Ford makes a Hybrid and plugin hybrid. The Hybrid charges the regenerating battery when it brakes the earlier and long you brake the more the battery charges.
Drive it like a race car and save gas
Would be excellent if they just moved the battery to under the back seats like Honda does and have a normal trunk space
