Is Sonax Perfect Finish technically a polish? My understanding is that the abrasives in any polish would strip off the coating or at least the hydrophobic layer of the coating. It looks like the official Sonax site calls Perfect Finish a 'medium-cut polish' which sounds a bit abrasive. I know that many have recommended Carpro Essence Plus for rejuvenating a ceramic coating since it fills in the scratches vs removing them. Just trying to see what's out there in terms of improving my Xpel ceramic coating : )

Yes, it's a medium polish. It's an abrasive like all polishes. It's will degrade/strip off a coating. Carpro Essence Plus would help fill in the scratches and you could give it try. Not sure if it's compatible with Xpel. Personally I've not used CE+ but it is a short term fix, but it's a not a permanent solution. Let me know how it goes ? Were the scratches from your wash methods or from something actually damaging the surface. CE+ will only fill in VERY light marring to my understanding.

What product did you use on the polishing pad?

As I stated in the video, Sonax Perfect Finish. I've been using it for years, very low dusting.

wow that's really strange I had not watched that video in quite a while as it is rather old. I don't know where the last bit of the video went to and why it didn't upload completely. I will tell you with just that amount of medium pressure and all of just maybe 30 seconds of polishing there was absolutely no scratch or imperfections that were visible. thanks for bringing this to my attention however I do no longer have any of that video where I can try and re-upload it. thanks for being part of my channel and I appreciate your support.

Not sure what you are referring to. Kingsgaurd and Remax Britemax are spray SiO2 ceramic spray sealants. Called TOPPERS to put over ceramic coatings as a layer that can protect the coating, making it last longer.

Stil have the ceramic coat properties?

Yes, no changes in those spots at all. Leaf blower dries the car perfectly. I do use Kingsguard ( now called TK6 ) from Dallas Paint Correction as a topper/drying aid regularly. Titanium/ceramic spray on sealant.

Since you are Atlanta VIDEO Productions I'd imagine you'd dislike all of my videos, but what about this one do you particularly dislike ?
