It's a testament to the show that it's not as wild and unpredictable and "unexplained" as some people claim. The writing has always been so good that if people just paid attention, they could easily connect the dots.
Man this show... "I think I crashed your plane..." I got chills just watching your reaction. You said it - the storytelling and the reveals are perfection. God damn it's so satisfying!!!
Noticed you on a number of Lost reaction videos. If you want another good potential Lost reactor, Imon_Snow is holding a poll to vote for a new show on Patreon and Lost is on it, but it’s losing so far so we need more fan voters. Just getting the word out lol.

Good call on what happened when Desmond failed to push the button in time! Locke did lose his faith in the island pretty quickly. What he didn't lose was his faith in his own judgment. After all the mistakes he made, he still was absolutely certain that preventing the button from being pushed was the right thing to do, and nothing anyone said to him could dissuade him. What's consistent about him is belief. Locke always believes in something. Exactly what may change, but he always believes.
If Boone didn’t die the whole world would ended right then and there. His death created a massive chain of events that lead to this very moment. A sacrifice that the Island had demanded.
I just hope able to watch s3x01 A Tale of Two Cities as soon as possible, cause right now we have to batten down the hatches and hoping everything everything around us is still standing tomorrow after this hurricane passes through tonight.

Good morning from Portugal! Amazing reactions bro! But the subtitles are giving it away. I actually don’t mind it, as long as they don’t spoil the show, and trust me, they already are and they will. If you don’t want to take them off in all episodes, at least take them off on this episodes: Season 3 episode 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 19, 20, 22 and 23 Season 4 epsiode 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 13 and 14 Season 5 episode 1, 2, 3 and 7. There may be a couple more, these are the ones that I strongly advise you not to watch it with subtitles. But the best thing would be to turn off the subtitles. Keep it up man, you have no idea whats comming! 😅💪 Season 6 the finale
Desmond thought that when the he got "system failure" he could of possibly killed everyone in the world including Penny, hearing John let him know maybe everyone and Penny weren't dead!
The pieces coming together is one of the best parts of the show. Even parts of the season finale tie back directly to mysteries from the pilot episode. Just like we saw Locke do in the hatch, testing our own theories and hypotheses about the island is one of the best parts of the show. I wish I could watch it again for the first time...
Most people don't realise that Lockes Destiny was down this hatch, and he has been relegated to nothing but a button pusher once again, which is what he was before he came to the island and it's made him very upset.
Don’t want to give anything away but please record and play as much of the beginning of Season 3 as possible. Your viewers won’t want to miss your reaction I guarantee you.
You probably already know this, but what Desmond did by turning the key was create an implosion and prevented an explosion too big that would probably destroy the world
I love your excitement over this show so far. I really hope you like the rest of the seasons. The show definitely lost some viewers (lol pun) in the later seasons but I absolutely loved it all the way through.
This is going to be a long post. It has always kinda annoyed me that Desmond didn't remember the System Failure and things flying around until the plot needed him to. Season 4 is the writers strike season (its a great season they just had to change their plans for the 2nd half of that season due to losing a couple episodes), season 3 wasn't affected by the strike in anyway. But season 4 onward has less episodes than previous seasons because of season 3....but I (or someone else) will go into that reason when you are deeper into season 3. Now that Michael/Walt are gone (will we see them again, I wont say) I can say the reason for the Walt kidnapping storyline was because of puberty. Time was moving slowly in the show and Malcolm David Kelley (Walt) was about to grow a foot taller overnight due to his age. And this became one of the many issues that Harold Parrineau (Michael) had with the show. In the early 2000s black men in particular weren't often leads on tv shows, and when they were they were usually dead beat dads or gang members. Harold from what I heard respected that that was not what Michael was. But with the Walt kidnapping, Michael suddenly became a one note character ("WALLLLT" "Where is my son" "They took my son") and another black man killing people. And you can't have Michael without Walt, and you can't have Walt because he was about to grow a foot taller in the show time of a week. And that's why they were on a boat. I am going to go into a little of what we knew going into S3 while it was airing because I am about to be hit with a hurricane and will probably not have power to post this in your S3 reaction. We were told that S3 was going to have a different release schedule ahead of time, we were going to get the typical 4 month break between seasons but then we were going to get a 6 episode arc, and once that arc ended we would go into another 3 month hiatus, but once that hiatus was over the rest of the season would arrive weekly uninterrupted. S3 is my personal favorite season, but it does start off weirdly.
“I think I crashed your plane” ARGGHHHHHHH SO GOOD!!!! “We’re the good guys, Michael” ARGGHHHHHHH SO GOOD!!! I’m glad that Walt and Michael got away and I think Jack etc would deep down be happy they got away as wel. But yes it stil feels bittersweet and tainted I think Charlie’s in a bit of a state of shock/slightly concussed
I'm pretty sure the film in the hatch was a 8mm film made much earlier than the one in the other hatch which I believe was on videotape. If you had lived through that time, you'd be able to easier recognize the difference between the formats.
Charlie getting his belt FORCIBLY REMOVED from his pants and then dead panning "I'll see myself out" has been making me laugh for 20 years, and I don't even like Charlie.
I never felt that Michael and Walt leaving was supposed to be heartwarming. He betrayed characters that the fans loved. He killed Libby. Most of us felt angry that he "won".
Season 4 was the one shortened by the writer's strike. Honestly, it's still a great season. The lack of episodes just increased the pacing, making it more action-packed.
"And thanks for telling them my name... Bea." That line always cracks me up. RIP hatch. Season 3 is the first season with some low points, but the highs definitely outweigh the lows. Iirc, Season 4 was the season affected by the writers strike.
Season 3 is a normal 23-25 episode season. There is a stretch of episodes there that kinda become filler because the writers kinda know what the overall points of the series are but they don’t know how long they’re going to have to drag it out for so they drag their feet a bit so they don’t move too fast. By the end of season 3 they negotiated with the network how many more seasons they’ll go and to only do 16-17 episodes a season going forward and then air them weekly from like Jan to May without reruns breaking it up. Fans had gotten frustrated as the show has so many episodes with big cliffhangers, they were getting upset that they were doing 24 episodes from September through May where they’d do 2-3 new ones per week…then 2-3 reruns after. So starting in season 4…more compact seasons where they have most the big points of the story planned out arguably. Now in season 4 there was the writers strike and it delayed like the last 5-6 episodes a few weeks or they had to cut a couple cause of it. But it still worked out. The shortness of seasons 4-6 wasn’t cause of the strike, it was because the creative team wanted shorter seasons
"Your friends are coming home with us." What new mysteries and answers will greet us in Season 3? From what I have seen so far Elie, you might be "The Guy."
If you want another potential good Lost reactor, Imon_Snow is having a new show poll on Patreon and Lost is on it, but we need more fan voters. Just getting the word out lol.
I'm pretty sure they aired back-to-back when I watched it live. You should every single time, take a one day break between seasons. It's not right to go right into a new season right away. I think also in Season 3, they had some kind of writers strike or something, and they had a mini season which is 6 episodes. Don't start 3x07 without a night's sleep. I think they aired 3-1 - 3-6 in the Fall, and the rest of the season spring the following year.
The writer's strike was in season 4, so that season only has 14 or 13 episodes, which necessitated dropping a storyline for someone I won't spoil here. In season 3 the network intentionally aired the first 6 only in the fall, ending on a cliffhanger, and ran episodes 7-23 straight through with no break in the winter and spring. And during the gap between episodes 6 and 7 airing, that's when the creators negotiated with the network an ending date so they could end the story on their terms and map out how and when they wanted it to end.
It wasn’t season 3 it was season 4 that had the writers strike. Season 3 has a full 23 episodes. Season 4 is only 14 episodes. Season 5 is 17 episodes and Season 6 is 18 episodes.
Locke is a weather vane. And Henry and Dharma's videos are his winds. That's why he changed his mind about the hatch and is changing his mind again saying "I was wrong". But it's good that he's taking responsibility for what happened to Boone.
I suppose Locke has been a bit of a loser all his life. Always getting knocked down. Parents use him. Dead-end job. Bullied at work. Lonely etc. He probably has more of a connection with the island, than any person he ever met (aside from maybe Helen). The he gets Boone killed. Gets manipulated by Henry. Feels worthless again. Then his lying results in Ana & Libby being killed. The Pearl station tape, is the kick while Locke was already down. He feels like every rare positive is followed by a blow that knocks him back further.
Great reactions on perhaps the best show ever. I only have one request. Please stop playing with the sound. I know the fears about getting hit with a strike, but youre doing quite a bit to mitigate the possibility. The sound design of the show is world class and it is really hard to watch this, knowing what we're missing. Try losing the phasing. That alone will be a huge help!
I think about this in every reaction. I’ve watched almost every reaction channel for Lost and I’ve never run into this before. 1 issue Elie may have with copyright is that he doesn’t chop up the video (at all). Meaning remove the visual completely for a few minutes at a time. Every other reactor does, as far as I can recall. Between the blocking the video and the audio disruption, it’s a challenge to enjoy, which is a shame as Elie is a great Lost reactor.
If you want another potential good Lost reactor, Imon_Snow is holding a poll for a new show on Patreon and Lost is on there, but we need all the voters we can get.
Don't take this as me saying what you should or shouldn't do in your reaction on your channel. Sometimes I wish you'd let a scene end before pausing it. I understand that you want to say what you want to say when you think it, but sometimes I feel that by pausing in the middle of a scene or even in the middle of a line of dialogue breaks the creator's natural flow of things, or drops the feeling of the moment. I've noticed this a few times but the end of this episode really was jarring. "Miss Widmore, I think we found it.", getting interrupted put a frown on my face. Otherwise, I don't have much for criticism. Keep rocking man! 👍✌️
Like I said... this is a great finale. In two hours they introduced both Widmore and the Penny/Desmond love story and they make you invested in that love story 45+ episodes into the series. So Walt... I can say this now... Walt and Michael's entire season two journey was a necessity because Malcolm David Kelley hit a growth spurt. Since the whole story so far has taken place over only 65ish days and two years of real time has passed, they needed to get rid of Walt because the actor could no longer play a 10 year old. If you look both here and in the episode Three Minutes, they are consistently shooting Walt at odd angles to conceal how much he's grown since episode 1. And as someone who has worked in audio production, I've always been able to detect something off about his voice in Three Minutes and Live Together, Die Alone... they likely had to record him in ADR and pitch his voice up to match how he sounded in Season 1. Also, we now have our first real firm date. The plane crash was September 22nd 2004, said aloud in the show for the first time here, so all of seasons 1 and 2 (and going into the next) are set in the Autumn of 2004. So now you can date other characters' flashbacks when they say "x years ago." Here's something you want to keep in mind before you continue your reactions. The next six episodes all aired in six consecutive weeks. Then there was a 2-3 month break between episodes 6 and 7. So while you get to power through, we (in America, at least, not sure about the rest of the world) had an 8-12 week gap after the first 6-ep arc. If you go back as early as Fire+ Water, look in the background of flashbacks, that is about the time they started putting "Widmore Industries" signs in scenes as Easter Eggs. So they knew as far back as "Fire + Water" that they'd be bringing Desmond back and began crafting this next phase of the journey.
Oh, Penny's dad isn't military, he was just waiting for Desmond. He's a wealthy industrialist, like Bruce Wayne. That's confirmed by the flyer Libby was looking at, not a spoiler.
Noticed you on a number of Lost videos. If you want another good Lost reactor, Imon_Snow is holding a poll to vote for a new show on Patreon and Lost is on it, but it’s losing so far so we need more fan voters.
I can't believe the stupidity of John Locke. Due to his insecurities and desire to be special, he nearly destroyed the world, after destroying the hatch's computer. Thank goodness for Desmond.

If you would like another potential good Lost reactor, Imon_Snow is having poll to vote for a new show and Lost is on it, but it’s losing so far!
Most people don't realise that Lockes Destiny was down this hatch, and he has been relegated to nothing but a button pusher once again, which is what he was before he came to the island and it's made him very upset.
Somebody clocked up another 1K subs when I wasn’t looking! Nice work kid! 🙃
Fantastic stuff Elie.
Roll on Season 3!!!
Thank you for the double upload, I'll expect it for all finales
You and this show were made for each other! Fantastic reaction as always. Season 3 is gonna be crazy!
@@path5657 🤯💙💙
Been waiting for this one! LET'S GOOOOOO
you nailed it Elie. great great reaction!
Thank you!! 😁
Don’t want to give anything away but please record and play as much of the beginning of Season 3 as possible. Your viewers won’t want to miss your reaction I guarantee you.
You're confused. Season 3 is 23 episodes. Season 4 is the season shortened by the writer's strike.
Great season! My two most favorite seasons are 5 and 2.
You probably already know this, but what Desmond did by turning the key was create an implosion and prevented an explosion too big that would probably destroy the world
Thanks for the double post. Nice treat mate.
See ya in another life brotha. Lol
"Lost might just be getting started!" YEP. Eventually, the hatch will have just been a small footnote.
Bravo!! Sorry to miss the live stream. Season 3 let’s go!!
It will getting better and better man.
I’m fairly confident the words “Charles Dickens to the rescue” have not been used on a reaction video before.
I'm not sure if Michael and Walter's reunion is meant to be heartwarming.
I love your excitement over this show so far. I really hope you like the rest of the seasons. The show definitely lost some viewers (lol pun) in the later seasons but I absolutely loved it all the way through.
I just knew tonight would be a two episode night
Can’t wait for season 3!
Banging them out! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
All of the finales should be watched in one sitting preferably
Rowdy Roddy piper said it best, just when you think you have all the answers I change the question!! So many more mysteries to unlock...
But yes it stil feels bittersweet and tainted
I think Charlie’s in a bit of a state of shock/slightly concussed
I'm pretty sure the film in the hatch was a 8mm film made much earlier than the one in the other hatch which I believe was on videotape. If you had lived through that time, you'd be able to easier recognize the difference between the formats.
See you in another react brotha! "You gotta lift it up". Lift what up? 🤔
Season 4 is the short one! 23 ep in season 3
Charlie getting his belt FORCIBLY REMOVED from his pants and then dead panning "I'll see myself out" has been making me laugh for 20 years, and I don't even like Charlie.
season 4 was during the strike, it is shorter but action packed and a great season
I never felt that Michael and Walt leaving was supposed to be heartwarming.
He betrayed characters that the fans loved. He killed Libby. Most of us felt angry that he "won".
Season 4 was the one shortened by the writer's strike. Honestly, it's still a great season. The lack of episodes just increased the pacing, making it more action-packed.
how on earth do you guess this stuff??? hahahahaha amazing
Desmond is and always will be goated
"And thanks for telling them my name... Bea." That line always cracks me up.
RIP hatch.
Season 3 is the first season with some low points, but the highs definitely outweigh the lows.
Iirc, Season 4 was the season affected by the writers strike.
You're too smart for this show, brother!
38:06 In fairness, I think Charlie had a massive concussion from the dynamite as well lol.
Season 4 might be my favorite frfr
Do you know the story named "Odyssey"..? ;) Do you remember what was the Odysseus' wife's name?
I’m confused too how does she knows about the Island? I knew at the time she has been looking for Desmond. I just don’t know how she knew.
For me s1 is the best, followed VERY closely by s2
33:15 Hey, who knows? We don't know enough to know who the good guys or who the bad guys are. Nor what makes them good or bad.
So Desmond killed the Kurgen. He should receive 'the prize". (If you know, you know).
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! 🗡
@@SeenGod Who waants to liiiive foreveeeeeer? ;)
lol playstation servers down
Like I said... this is a great finale.
So now you can date other characters' flashbacks when they say "x years ago."
Here's something you want to keep in mind before you continue your reactions.
Thank goodness for Desmond.
first! 4+8+15+16+23+42 = 108!
