So many childhood memories with this game. I think I got it from a Scholastic Book Fair in Elementary School or from Walmart. I remember struggling to unlock a lot of the cars, especially the cars with the gold and silver cups. I remember a glitch where you could use locked cars by selecting them and pressing the Return key and getting the traffic cones stuck in the Mars Base level.
When i first played this game i discovered a glitch: if you press enter when choosing the car (i think) you can use locked cars. I'm not exactly sure that this was the right way, it's been so long
@@zuupocmen I just tried this out and it checks out. I am able to play courses with locked vehicles, but if I change vehicles once I've done this I think the game realizes and then locks this ability until I restart the game. Probably more useful for the any% category cause I can just beat all the courses with the best car. I guess 100% would benefit too, but we'll see.
i noticed in the cup runs you were able to walk out ezpz once you got em but when you got to Mars Base you had to eliminate the Cabin Fever trucks. Was that necessary to complete the level or could it have been done faster by just quitting the match?
No, it's not necessary, but I figured it's worth my time to stay in and get those points. Destroying all those trucks is a quick way to get me closer to the point goal to complete the game.
