Hey, Zak I really like how you put the specs up for a caught fish, which brings me to my question. I'm trying to work out if the Solunar calendars have any real effect on fishing, so would it be possible to put the date and rough time in the specs window? As I need a larger sample size. It would be great if you could, and I can eventually share the results.

I can try adding it but that means I will have to start tracking the time and date of my sessions 😂

@@1upfishing No mate I don't want to give you additional hassle I just thought you would know the day and rough time... It doesn't matter but thanks anyway I just thought I would try as using just my records will take years lol. I only asked because I enjoy your vids and know I will watch them.

@@vinceveloce9897 I'm curious myself about the whole Solunar calendar.

Happy New Year!....Another great video watching the two amigos!...based on ur time in the boat did u predominantly see bream?....also with the numerous times uve been to the spot, is it basically a bait or lure spot?....keep up the great work & hope to bump into you at some point

Yeah in the boat it was bream galore. Honestly using bait and lure works the best if you want to maximise your chances to get on. Set a couple rods out with bait, and while your wait you can flick a lure. I'm sure I'll see you down there soon.

Nice Work! What do you use to weigh your catches?

Thanks! Just a small electric scale.

What weight braid do you use and what weight jig heads? I’m flicking around 1/8 but anything lighter and it’s a struggle to get any distance. I have 10lb braid on my light rod perhaps I should try 6 or so.

I use 8lb braid and find it perfect. Also I use a graphite rod as they can help cast a bit further.

Hey mate, do you prefer bait or lure fishing? Be interesting to know what others prefer also

Both are great and have their place, but nothing beats getting a big bite on a lure you're working!
