Stellantis needs to learn a HUGE, but HARD Lesson. ALOT of Americans (including myself) will never, ever buy another Stellantis brand again!!! They BURNED a HUGE bridge
To my Neighbors in the US. Does the CEO look like a Jeep owner? I'm Canadian and not a Jeep owner. But really? Does the CEO look like a Jeep owner? I'm almost thinking? Someone wanted it to come down.
Your right about that it seemed to start going down hill when Chrysler bought out AMC I remember when the Cherokee was a full frame and full size vehicle
Our old Jeep TJ is more reliable than our Gladiator we bought. The hidden small battery and surface mount fuse bar has left the gladiator stranded on the road 3 times.
@@pablomalaga4676 Unless there is something 'personal' going on between them, why would Elkin keep him around? It's not because he's doing a good job at running the car company. There must be something else that keeps Elkin happy.
Low Quality now and to top it off waaay over rated , unreliability plus they dont care they keep raising their prices. Ill keep my reliable Tj and still have a cj 5 in a garage !
Jeep won’t be missed by most Americans. The Wrangler design has been around for decades with little change. Basically a refresh after refresh after refresh. The only manufacturer that has worked for is Porsche with the 911, but that’s comparing a $250K-$300K performance vehicle to a marked up $80K-$100K off road vehicle that’s only worth $50K at best. Most people, not all, that buy it don’t even take it off road. They’re either grocery getters or commuters with terrible gas mileage and terrible drag coefficient (block design). If you think a Jeep is streamlined, you’re high on meth. I only feel sorry for the employees that will be out of a job. Don’t even get me started on the abomination crap they call Wagoneer. I’ve never been a fan of Jeep, good riddens.
UAW is a big part of the problem for any manufacturer. Person installing a bumper with robot assist making $110 00/hr, that is more than any engineer I know with master degree. Of course, CEO is an idiot with no knowledge of US Market. How many millions or billions he spent on EV. Truck that no one wants.
I stopped working at keep assembly when the pickup came out it wasn’t that bad a product then this company came in and it’s been sh .. show ever since sorry for the folks in Toledo
It's not the luxury part of jeep because those cars have some of the nicest Interior in the industry today. It's cost, marketing, and jeep problems are hitting the internet like crazy, which shows the market has changed since the pandemic......... (everyone is on the internet... everyone!!!!).... people are now researching vehicles more often now by looking online, so people are now seeing the problems of jeeps on youtube and other platforms. And that's their biggest problem. Hearing and seeing news; travels fast! The ceo of this company has made costly decisions, not to mention Chrysler suppliers dont making the quality parts anyways before the CEO came along. The new CEO has called for suppliers to make their parts EVEN CHEAPER. By shipping manufacturers to different low world countries. Because they wa to save a buck..... so over all; it's CEOs direct fault because he is literally telling these other brands exactly what to by mouth. And not letting the company run independently. Like BMW and Rolls Royce relationship.
Where are your sources that the Jeep Brand is ending?? Yes, they are in trouble. They will do away with some models and laying off people but show me some proof that the brand is gone??
So who gets it up the a** in the end? The workers. Engineered failure. Stellantis sounds like some sort of disease. It would seem to be so. I could see them closing down jeep and giving their workers the boot, but they still will have the jeep patent. I could see them building " jeeps" under another brand name in some country where workers' rights are not recognised
Is Stellantis shutting jeep down ( As your headline states) or just on its final days as your narrative stated ?At no time did I hear of anyone being fired. Hard to build vehicles if you fire all your employees. Make up your mind instead of rumours.
Hey Donald, Thank you for watching and commenting! "Thank you for your comment! The issues facing Jeep are quite complex. There are significant cash flow problems due to a large number of unsold vehicles in inventory. This situation is resulting in layoffs at dealerships and potentially within Jeep as well. Additionally, there has been a lack of support from Stellantis, which exacerbates the challenges. We appreciate your interest in this situation and hope this explanation provides more clarity!"
"Thank you for your question! Yes, the Warren facility is indeed known for manufacturing the Dodge Ram. It's an important location for production within the Stellantis brand. If you have any more questions or need further information, feel free to ask!"
The reason Jeep is failing is because of the poor quality that the American plants have put in their vehicles and their overpriced Right now we're in a bad recession but yet they keep their prices up this is why they're not selling if the American workers wanted to keep their job they want to put piss for quality in their vehicles I remember when Jeep was a damn good vehicle but lately allowed the American plants with your passport design have been catching on fire no better than a damn Tesla it's not only upper management it's the people in the factories too they want to keep their jobs start produce some better quality vehicles and lower the price it's not just management it's all of stalantis

Yeah you are absolutely right!
I loved .y jeeps of the early age cj5 tj and now it's just so disappointing 😞. I'm looking now for a 4×4 pickup truck 🛻 during my auto shopping 🛍
*My last Jeep was a CJ-5 built by AMC. It's still on the road*
The truth is that Jeep has to go out of business because they’re running out of new ideas for manufacturing defects.
The French do not understand the American car, truck or boat market
Exactly.
Nobody gets it ,they want to fail. It's a strategy.
Why. Explain please.
To my Neighbors in the US.

Jeep hasn't been a Jeep for quite some time. It's not a great loss.
Your right about that it seemed to start going down hill when Chrysler bought out AMC I remember when the Cherokee was a full frame and full size vehicle
A telephone booth with four wheels never too appealing to us...
I paid $28,900 for a new leftover 2018 Cherokee Latitude Plus with a tow, cold weather and comfort pkgs
They need to Fire Tavares.
Corporate greed , will they ever learn?
Our old Jeep TJ is more reliable than our Gladiator we bought. The hidden small battery and surface mount fuse bar has left the gladiator stranded on the road 3 times.
If the federal government got of the way, we could build a simple car/truck with no computers or safety stuff. Just a cheap drive.
And nobody will buy it
@@gunnerm747 I would.
@scurfie2343 Good for your willingness to dish out over 100K for an EV. Good for economey. You are within that 3%.
Their greed is destroying This Brand!!
Used to be you didn't have to take out another loan for parts and labor to repair the vehicle after the warranty expires.
They need to sell to someone who wants to keep and make Jeep thrive again
Ceo should sold the three amercan brands back to us.
First thing I would do is get rid of the unions 2nd thing would be to relocate assembly plants to parts of the country where people need the work.
No no… the sale dropped due to mechanical problems and electric steering wheel and the price not comparable, etc.
Funny thing, I've never heard of Stellantis until just now
To take a little Fiat and put a Jeep name plate on it is a slap in the face and a joke😂
Nothing worst for a company than an uninformed incompetent CEO.
It is getting even worse, see our new video we uploaded today: th-cam.com/video/Cq2OAhqHipg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=i32d2FcbVf4eMCbj
The price raises are the core problem - IMHO!
now carlos will give himself another 39 million dollars bonus
Just a ploy to sell off inventory. Get a jeep before they are gone.
The average person cannot afford these outrageous priced, flaw filled autos made today. And that includes every brand made.
There is one reason why Elkin won't fire Tavares. A call girl would be cheaper and cost him a lot less.
So they ghae

If they fired everyone then why is jeep still accepting trucks?
