“Adam refused to help Jade…mostly because of the murder part.” 😂
Lmao
😄
I know rite
That had me dying! 😆😆
Adam and she was Eve.
It would have been better for her to secretly take the evidence to the cops. That guy wasn't worth her spending her life with a tainted conscience, a destroyed reputation and behind bars.
Is there a statute of limitations for having pictures of her when she was a teenager? Or better yet is the statue of limitations go off when he receive the pictures or stole the pictures or is it as long as he has the pictures? Either way you don't get to kill people because they have naked pictures of you you don't want them to have. Not to do any victim-blaming but this is why you don't take naked pictures of yourself and you definitely don't send them to people.
Tom was worth much more than what he is being credited with. Tom was a passionate supporter of the environment and worked for free for years to help me establish the nonprofit foundation Butterfly Farms. Tom and Jade are not related only associated through a prior marriage. This was never about photos and no photos where produced as evidence only photos of photos on jades phone, how convenient. Jade killed Tom for the cash she found in his apartment and that’s it plain and simple. Jade is a career criminal and struggled with her addiction to meth and heroin for decades and had priors for financial crimes.
@@butterflyfarms3541 but the woman made a claim and we all know that women can't lie about these things. They're incapable of lying about sexual assault otherwise the hashtag believeallwomen would be bull shit and you know that's not true.
@@robertstone9988 it wasn’t even sexual assault it was two adults that are not blood related and one allegedly had naked photos of the other. Hardly a crime and just a disgusting distraction and cry for help from a career criminal.
@@butterflyfarms3541 Good to read some background info on this. Too odd that she was ' helping' a man she wasn't close, there must've been something in it for her to do that. A normal woman would've disabled the computer, thrashed his apartment and moved house.
Confucius said " If you go for revenge dig two graves before you go." Very wise saying.
I grew up in building named Confucius. It was a very wise building indeed.
@@edwardwong654 😀😃 I don’t know why but that just made me laugh 😂
Could you please clarify if the proverb applies to the concept of justice ⚖️as well?🤔
I just find it so odd that he would have a picture of his stepdaughter as his screensaver without even a code to lock the laptop. She lives next door and it sounds like they were close, and he knew she would be picking him up from the hospital and had access to his home. I feel like there is more to the story that might explain what happened a little more clearly. It's just too bizarre. She had everything to lose by going about things this way.
I did as well. That was bizarre he would use that as a screen saver - even more bizarre then collecting photos of her, obviously obsessed.
there could be the premise of him wanting her to find it after all this time to see 'what the reaction' would be.. (as in a favorable fantasy for him) but obviously the opposite and she shows her true colors as a vindictive cold blooded murderess.
@@SPINNINGMYWHEELS777 This is incredibly likely. He'd seen the pics thousands of times I'm sure. He got bored of them and wanted the real thing, so I could see him to have done it intentionally with the hopes she would get turned on after noticing? Idk lol it sounds insane but sexually obsessed men are odd, and dangerous.
@@dogdude7485 obsession can be dangerous regardless of the gender !!! cheers my friend
Many predators are rather stupid. It's not odd. What's odd is he'd stoop this low.
The imagery of butterflies trying to move a plow was a poetic foreshadowing of what was to come when Jade could not successfully move his body.
She should have exposed him and let him finish himself off with addiction rather than ruin her own life.
that would indeed be the legal way to deal with a pedophile.
Violent Wildling : So absolutely true. She committed a murder, she killed someone without it being necassary, she needs to be jailed for a long time.
Jade was finished long ago and has been a career criminal and drug addict her entire life. She killed Tom for the cash in his apartment and for not other reason. Jade is not someone who would have given a care scout nude photos. In court we heard testimony that Jade had text someone she had never met that her door was unlocked and that he could “have his way” with her all while Tom’s dead body was in her car. Also Jade bonded out on $1M bail with help from her dad and the day she bonded out she orders DoorDash using her dead stepfather’s identification and business credit card a practice she continued for over six weeks before I caught it and she had eaten over $2k in food paying with Tom’s credit.
Exposing is bragging rights for him.
@@nicole5436 who are you to ask who are they to say what she should have done? I don't get it.
She sounds as devious as him, trying to involve others in the murder with no regard for consequence against them.
She thought that he was her Dad.
Her premeditation and then lying in court is what really f'd her.
“I bet it takes a lot more butterflies to pull a plough” 😂 Thanks for the analysis Dr G!
Butterfly farms are real and help in adding pollinators back into the wild as well as for education. Lame joke.
I did guffaw at that and the butterfly stampede part. 😂😂😂
“Her friend denied to help, probably because of the murder part” 😂😅
If she destroyed the computer and there is no evidence, I believe it’s a fair question to ask if it ever existed in the first place
I agree. After hearing about this case, I have yet to find a news article sharing whether the explicit photos were proven to be in the stepfather's computer.
The police did say they found one photo but not the hundreds she claims he had.
@@James-rn7dx one picture or a hundred does that change anything?
@Dear Brave kinda yeah. How many counts of a charge of any given charge would you like? Example, illicit photos of children.
How on earth could he have gotten them? There would be an email or smartphone trail to follow 🤷🏻♂️
If she destroyed the computer, SD card/s, and hard drive (or what she thought was the hard drive). Is there any evidence, other than her say-so, these images were on Tom's computer, and in the way she states?
(*Nude pic as background/screen saver. *The way she "discovered" them. *Thier relationship.)
Just feels like something doesn't quite add up!
yeah I'm not believing this lying murderous trash
That's bugging me too. I sure hope investigators are looking into all of his and her electronic devices.
I agree, and how did he manage to come by all these images plus download them, did he have technology smarts? It seems all too convenient. Having her image as a screen saver is the icing on the cake. Why would he do that when she was a frequent visitor?
I wish that boob Todd questioned that more.
He said she removed “what she THOUGHT was the hard drive.”
How does she have such low self-awareness? She’s telling all of her friends she’s going to murder someone and even asks for help to move the body?
You have met a woman without low self-awareness?
@@ericlarousse1149 okay now, to be fair this is only funny because it's true.
He said how in the video: She was so enraged, she thought everyone else would be onboard with her actions. She thought lewd pictures of her really meant justifiable homicide was definitely on the menu for anyone in the same predicament. She was not aware her actions were not warranted.
She could have actually been joking. People in that state of mind do. She was in an abnormal psychological state, totally divorced from reality.
Why didn't her normal friends tell her to go to a psychiatrist immediately?
I'm often surprised by people's choices
when deciding that killing someone is the thing to do
OMG! Your deadpan sense of humour is killing me!
After hearing about this case, I have yet to find a news article sharing whether the explicit photos were ever proven to be in the stepfather's computer.
They're on her OnlyFans now
yeah this story just makes NO sense.
Imagine if a man came up with this stupid story to explain murdering someone...it would be more than obvious he was lieing but people are just believing it without second thought 😂
Pretty sure they were shown to the jury but wasn’t proven how or where he got them.
She did nothing wrong
Something seems odd with this case as far as her motive. First, she destroyed the hardrive and computer. They only had one pic of a woman that supposedly had a similar birthmark. No other photos were available. We really only have her word to go on. Its not unlikely that something else was going on as a motive. Also the family has a history in the judicial system. Shes not quite the innocent woman lost in moments of shock perhaps. At least its not out of the question that some other reason(s) were there for her to kill this man.
@@derrikc9961 Ah ok, I understood that the hardrive had been destroyed and it was simply her testimony in this.
They actually found those pictures on his hardrive?
@@derrikc9961 Multiple pictures from where?
Yeah I don't believe her
She made up the story about the pictures to cover her ass.
No, rewatch the video. She didn't remove the hard drive, she removed something else by mistake. He had lots of pictures of her nude from age 18 up. It was not hearsay. He was a criminal and a pervert. She should have turned him over to the cops and spared. Herself the murder charges.
I love how I'll get really into these videos and then you'll come out with sentences like, "jade wanted him to buy the farm, butterfly or otherwise," and I lol. Every. Time.

@@CalvinLangatMMA I know, tell me about it. It's like a few seconds later and I am thinking, that was GENIUS!!!!!!
Dr. Grande always reminded me of that comedian Steven Wright.
It's called deadpan comedy. 🙂
I found it strange that she happened to move at the same location where he lived. Plus, I found it very suspicious that he never had any history of sexual offenses and never made any remarks to anybody, then all of a sudden he had her pictures. As a woman, discovering that, for sure I would be disgusted but definitely not kill the person since there was no assault. I would go to the police and then confront the guy.
Finally a sane comment on this! I'm surprised how many people just bought her story on what happened and, even if it's true, that the murder is justifiable.
I'm thinking if this is true that maybe things clicked for her and she had memories of her past with him. She did say in the court case that there was some things going far back. But it wasn't clarified.
What would the police do? They were images of her when she was an adult.
If he had been drugging her and she had been shushed told they were just bad dreams but she felt her body and recollection wasn't right. Then suddenly seeing all of the evidence. Momentary Insanity to demolish the man who had found such a convenience to keep her near and accessible for his perverse criminal behaviors towards her. Perhaps video inside her home. What wouldn't she smash?
my question is just how did he get those pics in first place,

Exactly, it’s called accountability.
Men have a different level of accountability than women, if genders were reversed no man in a million years would think they could “delete” their step-mother over images taken secretly and expect the world to not send them to prison.
It is a sad story and the guy was a POS but you cannot just take the law into your own hands when you’ve been wronged.
Now we use our words xx
Too bad this sicko didn’t learn a similar lesson as a child. But this was an old man not a child.
@@acediamond7524 😂either you’re a child or an idiot, maybe both! As adults we realize that a step mother would be VERY unlikely to have sexually exploitative photos of her stepchildren, like this sicko did. If a stepmother did, she’d deserve the exact same thing. Sorry a parental figure that sexually violates does not deserve to live.
@@acediamond7524 No it has nothing to do with accountability. And every criminal wants to get away with murder, this is normal. Men do it all the time and that's why they have to be chased by the cops and fought with .
This issue wouldn't be met with the same ending if a step mother was secretly doing this to her step son because men generally enjoy xual inappropriateness.
You just have to look at cases where female teacher have something going with their adolescent students. The entire comment section is filled with men applauding the boys.
Meanwhile women would be revolted to find out a male teacher is touching a female teenager and would call for serious repercussion for his action.
It's that simple.
The difference between a psychopath and a normal person is that the psychopath follows through and puts their dark thoughts into action in spite of the consequences.
There’s more to it than that. A psychopath has no capacity for sympathy or empathy. Indeed, usually sadistic.

While I can understand losing your mind on that level of personal betrayal, the consequences of any violent act where you are not defending yourself usually (but not always) will be severe in most countries. There is a reason why people must take the evidence to the police and one of those reasons is so you don't screw up your life because you let your emotions overrule your cognition.
Yes I have to agree

She never clubbed him, and there is no evidence that she actually strangled him to death - the coroner’s report said he died from OD!
Also, have you never heard about Clifton Johnson and McArthur Wheeler who robbed two banks without a mask, where they was so surprised that the police could recognize them, because they had covered themselves with lemon juice, and they were sure lemon juice would make them invisible to the CCTV, like lemon can be used as "invisible ink" or something like that!

Screw that dude. He was a drugged up drunk and he was lucky to have such a high quality young woman in his life who actually took time to really help and show that she cared. Oh I don't know. I tend to find it's who you murder that is the answer to your problems. Apparently Jade's story about the images on the computer didn't even have evidence because she TOOK his hard drive, and claimed she couldn't remember what she did with it! In my early twenties my sister’s ex husband used to offer to do some update or settings changes on my phone for me, until one time I asked for it back quickly, then later went to my photos to look for a screenshot of something and it went straight to nudes I had taken when I was with an ex boyfriend. I never told anyone, because I felt ashamed I had taken them, but it’s my phone and clearly he did this with that in mind.
I can understand the betrayal, though I would never kill anyone.
Maybe deleting the nudes would have been a good idea if you were so ashamed of them 🤷🏻♂️
When I was a teenager I caught a family member spying on me in the shower. The betrayal, anger and hurt is huge but I still somehow never considered murder lol
That’s so flippin violating. Never be the one to feel shame for having a healthy sexual relationship AND confidence in yourself. So many women are too ashamed of their own bodies to take sexy time photos. So kudos to you!
The one who should feel shame is the one who has no self control nor has the respect for others. This person is the insecure one with unhealthy sexual desires.
You’re tough. Even to this day you are dealing with this well. Sharing your experience shamelessly? 💪
You rock!
@@ShaeLaughter You have to be an IDIOT these days to take naked pictures of yourself ON YOUR iPHONE, *for any reason,* if you don't expect that there's a decent possibility that they could be hacked, or if not, at least discovered by someone you don't WANT to discover them. *Better* to do it on something that's off-line, but still usually not a good idea.
And speaking of *decent* - if someone wants to take pictures of him / herself when he / she is not *decently* dressed in a PG-rated type way, then he / she always risks the consequences of those falling into the wrong hands. To not realize this doesn't sound very "woke" for a P.C., so-called "woke" culture. As John Stossel would say, "GIMME A BREAK!" 😖 😡 🤷♂
@@larkefedifero Whoa the hostility and judgment is coming in strong.
There’s these things you can do to protect yourself and your devices. VPN. Anti-virus software, anti-spyware software, and a firewall. For additional protection, cyber insurance. And you run the same risks with physical paper photos too. I mean someone can just go through your personal things and steal them.
The passion you have towards your judgement on this topic seems to be coming from a deeper level. At least I would hope so if you go as far as calling people idiots in capital letters to emphasize this. Perhaps you should explore this.
Totally love Dr Grande’s presentations. Simply brilliant.
Usually, yes. This one was a train wreck though.
"a concealed tarp permit"...oooh!
This was about $$$$. As Butterfly Farms posted in here, The laptop used for any business was not in Tom‘s possession and he actually did not have a functioning computer at home. His stepdaughter was a lifelong grifter. She had a failing business and as was testified in court there was only one single photo ever found which was not of any type of inappropriate nature on any computer devices owned by Tom.
At her sentencing you will hear more I am sure. she will not be going home at least until she’s well into her 70s or 80s.
Pray that a violation or betrayal you can't bear never happens to you. And if it does, pray there's someone close to you to stop you from hurting yourself or someone else 😊
There was no violation or betrayal in this case. Unless you actually have proof?
@@SamStone1964 so you think her opinion of him drastically changed in one day for no reason? and that she murdered him for no reason? you're kidding, right?
@@Sputterbug no, she was probably planning it for a while
A woman is especially vulnerable to being offended by the images and had it been limited to the revelation Jade could have told the police about the images. She could have told the stepfather about her being upset about the images. She could have forgotten about the images. All would have been far superior than to rot in jail for 25 years. Legally and morally and spiritually we do not have the right to take another life. Thank God! Otherwise, everyday would be like that movie "The Purge" where all the people who dislike you can do harm to you with their being no legal penalty.
Being the hapless victim of a butterfly stampede would be the best thing that ever happened to me.
I'm from San Diego. This city has the most strange murders of any other.
Yeah… I have a hard time believing the pics ever existed in the first place.
I wonder if she would have gotten away with it if she hadn't messaged her friends
I doubt that. She was very messy in other ways.
So, she would've gotten away with it except for those meddling kids?
@@ogami1972 Beat me to it.
If she had been able to drag him back to his bed and they did a toxicology test they may have determined it to be an overdose. It depends on the amount needed to actually kill someone. Along with how much time the coroner has in performing the autopsy.
I saw a video of her as the guilty verdict was read. I have never seen someone with a more incredulous and shocked look on their face after being judged guilty. She had to ask her lawyer if she heard right. It was an astounding thing to see. She really didn't think she would be found guilty.
Like my x..he believed his own lies because he was enabled for so long...this is what mother's do to some son's and daughters, not hold them accountable for their actions..in the end, best thing is to keep to yourself and DNT let people in your circle...Jeh God will bless you in due time...he saw it all..
My heart goes out to Jade
Hi, dr Grande. I really enjoy your videos. I would love to hear your take on Dupont de Ligonnes family murder and disappearance. Thanks.
Were the photos ever recovered, how can we say the step dad did creepy stuff if the photos were never seen to be real
deep emotional betrayal thats so shocking to the core of her being it led her to murder..
There’s ZERO PROOF there WERE ANY IMAGES OF HER on his computer
It’s ONLY HER WORD!!!! She’s LYING!!! Why do you all act like there’s proof? That ANYONE saw those pics?
No one did. Christ unbelievable what you people believe with only WORDS of a murderer as proof. Disgusting
Dr Grandeee always goes for the big picture.
i have been waiting for this!!! FINALLY 🎉
Where is the link to the nude photos? I'm gathering evidence on this case
I was driving cross country during the Monarch migration. Not sure it counts as a stampede, but I could not go 100 miles without having to stop and clean my windshield because I had run out of washer fluid.
Though it was an annoyance for you on that day, what a beautiful sight that would be to observe.
