Hi Niomi! I follow you for years!
I hope you will understand this comment and not think it is judgemental but rather coming from my heart.
As a 32 year-old woman myself that is building her career I used to be really inspired by your videos being an amazing and successful power woman that wanted to make a change.
However I unfortunately don’t resonate with you anymore and it breaks my heart.
Unfortunately, I feel like you have turned to a new type of audience that don’t do much in their life but rather free fall, meditate and spend countless hours finding themselves and actually not making any change in the life and in this world. They don’t educate themselves with meaningful things and stimulate their brains, but rather spend time with many “hobbies” rather then a real and meaningful things. And that’s what you’ve always been doing, following trends, like veganism and sustainability and now this. Do you really need to target people who need advice how to meditate and journal? Aren’t you wasting your precious 30s being so slow and not doing much? You have a life of a retired person.
But I hope you are happy. I will still follow you in hope you will get back to your true self and that power woman that did meaningful things. Love ❤️

Perhaps you’re onto something but I think sustainability is a very positive lifestyle choice, it should not be viewed as a trend. Same for veganism (depending on personal health). Journaling is very beneficial for mental health too! I think these are all positive life choices.

Except Niomi is neither vegan or sustainable.

I am 32 years-old myself, building my career AND spending a lot of time self-reflecting, slowing down and resting. Ever since I have slowed down I am taking more aligned steps and what used to be a very difficult path towards success and happiness is now a very conscious and peaceful journey. It may look like I am doing "not so much" but actually I have never been happier and more successful than today. I have learned the value of enjoying the small things and sharing beautiful loving moments with friends and family. I am creating a lot of change just by leading a different life than expected, both personal and work relationships have improved and through that I am able to take meaningful actions that really create positive changes. The key to my personal success IS "free fall, meditating and spending countless hours finding myself", to use your own words. I would really recommend incorporate these practices, especially if you want to create change in your life and in the world!

I think there's so much hubris in her posts over the last few years...particularly after her first engagement ended...when your videos are all about you and your ideas, rather than vlogging and products, then you have become a different kind of content creator. Many of these influencers lose sight of what made them popular, which is wonderful - be YOU. But instead of stepping away from TH-cam, they have convinced themselves that they are exceptional individuals, filled with wisdom. Once the camera is mostly you, your face, your endless thoughts ranging from in this case mindfulness, but in others them just talking to the camera about NOTHING, you've turned a corner. TH-cam can be a wonderful launching pad, but it can also convince otherwise normal people into thinking there's something more for them to offer their audience beyond what made them popular. And well, that's just not the case.

@@lillimol what about trying to do something to help the world? what about working in local schools./animals shelters/helping in homeless shelters instead of spending your entire day thinking about yourself

Hi Niomi, where did you get your journal? I also like blank pages. Can you purchase online? Love your videos and content recently ❤

Hi Niomi, I have been following you for years and I want to say that I really appreciate your honesty and courage to embrace your spirituality and the whole journey that comes with it, despite having to completely transforming your platform and possibly losing followers. You are very inspiring. Hugs from Italy! ♥

I’ve been journaling since I was 5! I have about 20 completed diaries and I love it ❤ one thing that did occur to me is that I will never be strong enough to destroy them, so someone will at some point read them even if it’s after I’ve gone! (Or they might read two pages and get bored ha!) and it will most likely be your children, maybe grandchildren, that was a weird thought! It does make me think what am I coming across like, but I try not to worry about it x

@@amyc2109 yeah i have the same thought. I used to have a lot of diaries during studying then stopped journaling about 10 years ago when I graduated university and had no real motivation to take notes about my life even count my expenses... Now I began to write again and i can say it helps me to feel less frustrated and anxious and be more conscious and confident.

Just write thinking that nobody will ever read it, otherwise you will start stressing out while trying to get thoughts out :) I think it's a beautiful thing to leave behind, humans have learned so much by reading such things after all. I need to pick that up again, I miss it.
