I saw these guys in Portland, Maine on their Bright Lights 20th anniversary.20 years after my first time seeing them. Kessler was falling over drunk and had his guitar turned all the way up. The shade from Paul was overly obvious. Granted, The State Theatre was not the best place, but my only place to see them. *Narc brought the house DOWN* even though Kessler had to restart it twice. I still love Interpol - NOT PLACEBO. =) Thank you KCRW for this. :)
Their 4th gets a lot of hate but c'mon, these songs were their last great anthems! El Pintor was a breath of fresh air, but it got old by Marauder and Fine Mess; I still listen to these, don't get me wrong, but it feels like they stopped experimenting and leaned completely on Daniel's guitar. They feel lazy, almost.
@@kyrotv8156 Memory Serves, Summer Well and Barricade as well. People who always try to regurgitate the fact that Carlos left shouldn’t even listen to the old Interpol or new Interpol you saying it just means you were never even an actual fan.
This album is a masterpiece, I'm sad for the people who can't see it
It is !
*-People-** Critics poo poo any non-debut album that's self-titled.* They mistakenly take it as a sign that the band is phoning it in.
they just need Carlos D :( props to the basist here thou

Try it on, all the way y the undoing, en particular para mí the undoing siento que son de sus letras más sombrías de Paul banks.
That song summer well has always been my favorite. Underrated album

Outro to lights is always amazing
В 2010 году голос Пола еще был юн и прекрасен, а 4ый альбом всё-таки крутой. Крутой в своей тоске и грусти и отчаянии и внутренней боли.
that transition from try it on to barricade was fucking great
Ah yes finally try it on live 💕💕💕
