  • I restore an old rusted knife burnt in a fire. You don't see this everyday, a knife that was destroyed in a fire. With my restoration tools and some elbow grease I restore this old burnt rusted knife.

    What I appreciate in these videos is the understandable use of body language. It's easy to follow throughout the restoration process. Besides that, learning about Super Blue, rivets, and rust remover. Outstanding.

    The original was rubber/plastic-covered stacked leather handle. My dad had one similar to it. You can buy kits with precut leather washers to make those handles.

    Great Job!! I like the wire wrap handle but if I may, might I suggest a change... how about silver with copper or brass?
