Just started to view these videos a short time ago and what a masterful job done on each item. Also, his sense of humor has kept me coming back as well.
THANK YOU!!! I was given that same knife when I was twelve years old. I have wanted to restore it but was afraid that I would actually ruin it. You have shown me how to do it properly and am now confident that I can. I really like your channel. I think that you are a great teacher. Blessings to you.
Wow! What a fantastic restoration job on this knife. You have a great eye for details. I enjoy watching your videos. I laughed at your magic show. 😀 Thanks for sharing
Fr. Plucker Jr, Germany, Solingen. That means it was made between 1871 and 1938 (or so). Looks like a pretty standardized knife they produced by the thousands, much like many straight razors. (Prior to that, it would have been labeled by the individual Princedom, such as Saxe-Coburg. "Germany" didn't exist as a country until 1871) (edit - With the aluminum pommel, that moves it to post 1886, and most likely between WW-I and WW-II)
I actually lost a knife pretty much like that one decades ago on my first deer hunt... Nice refurbishing project! The deer antler looks great once again.
OH WOW!!! He’s great magician!!! He’s great knifemaker!!!! From loose to rust to best knife 🔪 I knew he had experience with general maker from his background. Well, we’ll see you for next great video!!!
Really great job. I am restoring the exact same modal knife as we speak. My first knife restoration. Only trouble is my knife has considerably more rust and pitting and I messed up and soaked the bone handle on Mineral oil. I'm considering making a stacked Leather handle, or trying to find some better Antler to replace the original. I would love to hear any suggestions you may have. Thank you.
My brother had a knife exactly like that one I remember it from when I was a kid. It didn’t look half as good as you made that one look awesome job as always 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️
Good job I restored a small case that had stag handles I found in a road while dragging a deer I used it for a long time then I left it when I dressed a deer two days when I went back it wasn't there someone got a good knife the same way I got it I hope they like it as much as I did
Believe me not criticizing your work , I love your channel and work. But try a wood block with the grain up to cut your leather with the punch. Cuts much better and will save the edge of the punch. Great job.

I lost one like that in 1978 on a canoe trip on the Osage Fork River.
Главное что твои рога на месте 😂

When you see Solingen on a blade you have to restore it, it's the law.

¿What product is the dye ?
?????????
Bravo !
Visual storytelling 🤌
LOOKS LIKE SWEDISH STEEL WITH RAINDEER ANTLER HANDLE SWEET
Wow 😍 💯 👌
What grit paper did you use to shine the blade?
Yay my day is saved
Beautiful work. What do you do with these? For sale?
Genau das gleiche Messer habe ich auch ❤️👍
Beautiful restoration, what did you use to dye the antler?
I got the same knife, looks like I have some work to do. Thanks for the video.
My dad owns that exact knife, but it has its own custom handle a friend made for him. It's a deer antler handle with a deer carved into it.
Нижний упор на гарде отогнуть надо немного вперёд, очень мешать при молоточном хвате будет, а так нож очень не плох, молодец реставратор.
Финка НКВД! Супер!
Excellent restoration. What did you use to get that mirror finish on the blade? Well done!!!
Muito bom o trabalho!!!
Nice👍🔪!!
Excelente 👏👏🇧🇷
Tell us what kind of materials were used on the handle initially
I was concerned about the handle at first, but it turned out quite nice. Thanks!
This video is in the top ten that I have seen from your channel. Strong, strong work! Any chance you are making a sheath?
What kind of sanding belt are you using?
Как всегда всё очень круто!!!
