    This guy is SO good, very well explained. I loved it that you put a little theory in it. (It was nothing new to me cause Im a theory junkie but still damn usefull to see, what you actually do!) Mabye you could also put these parts in the video, not just the tabs. So theres a caption saying "F Major Scale". But this is just a tiny advice/wish, this guy freaks me out how good he plays and how good he explains. Awesome, thank you!

    turn knobs until sounding good,stop.
    every amp,room,guitar ,situation is different!!
    generally treble 5-7,mids 2-4,bass 7-8,gain 7-8
    (maybe less depending on your amp/guitar/pickups)
    try this then adjust/fine tune to your liking,get to know your own equipment,dont ask random youtube guys with different gear,
    it wont help you with your gear.

    @laaarsas 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello! I have a question. How do you work your way around alternate tunings on a floyd rose guitar? Don't you have to unscrew it and change a lot of things to get to drop D for example?

    Could you give son insight on metal core . Drop c tuning .

    • @JMetalGuitarist
      @JMetalGuitarist 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Drop c is just drop d tuned down a whole step. All drop tunings are is the lowest string is tuned down a whole step more than usual in comparison to the other strings so you get a power chord by barring down. It just makes it easier to play a bunch of power chords mostly but there are other interesting potentials for it because what would normally be long stretches are made more accessible as well.

  • @utooberblooper

    so did about 500,000 other guitarists,lol
    so,no you didn't invent it,its been done by maiden,priest,sabbath,metallica,megadeth :)
    its a really common progression and very well used,
    like a 15-20 year old jean jacket,worn in but cool.

    I don't get this?..you are basically chugging and doing octave bounces??...there is no technical aspect or (groove)??...Morton's pick hand...is unmatched by many...and this (groove)..is no way a representation of his style.

      +John Knuckles Your argument is invalid.
      - You can't tell someones opinion, is bad.. simply because his not better at said thing..
      Think about it, imagine being at a resturant... someone is claiming the food is bad, do they have to be a chef with such statement? no... Everyone knows what they want, even tho they can't make it better them self.
      same goes for music, just because you can't shred a guitar, it doesnt mean you don't know how a good shred sounds.
      You can however, say my grammar is bad, so i did it for you :)
