I love them both, but am very happy that Sjin defeated Tom. Because decks that take away your play time are the worst. (Black/Red MtG deck based on zombies, that got constantly countered by blue assholes. Gods, the memories come back and they're so painful)

Against Lewis he got to much help I agree but Tom really only suggested which of his characters was stronger and that was about it so here not so much the game was fair it's just the second you down one of Toms characters the deck falls apart since it relies on the ambush/equipment combo
I think it's fine to help the opponent if they are relatively new to the game.
I will say that in the first game, Lewis letting Sjin redo some of his moves may have been a bit much, however, if Lewis did not mind helping him out, then I shouldn't mind. I mean, Lewis knew helping him could hurt him, but he did it anyway. If they are fine helping out each other, then that's cool with me.
Also, thinking about it, this being just a friendly tournament makes everyone participating much more open to helping out each other compared to if it were a professional tournament.

Compared to that first game. This game sjin was mostly on point. With a little bit of luck and even the Tricksy Tom goes down. Imagine if Lewis wasn't so nice there wouldn't have been this video for Sjin to redeem himself so hard.
kloaf Well both of them cheated a little bit, and there was still some of Tom playing for him like Lewis was.
didn't notice either of them doing anything correctly. And only coaching for the most part I noticed was at the end when sjin already won and Tom wanted it to be over. Or maybe when sjin killed solo and tome told him he could but I find both of those nothing in comparision to lewis. But maybe I missed something.

DrDarkheart It was unintentional, and he also forgot to do some things that would have helped him. like not putting shields on that he rolled, for instance.

Did Sjinn ever pay the resource cost on his initial holdout blaster? I'm not super familiar with the game but Tom payed 2 for the same I think just before?
I'm also not familiar with the rules, but he didn't move his first two resources after moving the holdout blaster from his hand to the field.
He did not.
He super did not, but there are a few mistakes he made to disadvantage him too... but yeah he totally got that blaster out for free.

Wow, I can not believe Sjin won.
It's hard to get any of the cards for this game at present because...well, they are all sold out pretty much everywhere. The first big box is like gold dust but you should be able to get yourself the Starter Sets.
While there is the new big box coming in April the reprint of the first set is later this year in June but that will be the ONLY chance to pick it up when that gets released. From that point on there will be no more of that first set. So, if you want to get some of the cards you see here you'll have to wait until then probably.
April does bring in some of the new cards from Rogue One and beyond so that should be pretty cool to tide folks over and there will be plenty of new combos to enjoy.

I was just looking at some of the comments and I think people need to relax a little bit with the game play. First of all, these guys are all good friends and they are just playing a game with one another. Also, I think it is obvious that Sjin and Sips, for example, just learned the game. There will obviously be some confusion when you are just starting to play a brand new game that is designed around different decks with different plays. I don't see what all the commotion is about.

Sjin, you gotta talk more in videos. You bring a subtle humor that most of the yogscast can't come close to. Like the star wars roleplay you do on this channel, it would be great to hear more from you. Although criminal Louis is pretty damn good. And Simon is... Well, Simon. While I'm going on a drunken tangent, that guy who plays the droid, a bit too awkward all around for me. I too, am awkward but any contribution he makes kind of makes me cringe.
