The black turned out really nice! This was really fun to watch. I've always wanted to do this but I'm so scared of accidentally ruining the book lol

Thank you! I was definitely the same but just decided to take the plunge one day and here I am! I definitely recommend giving it a shot, secondhand books could be an option

Ah you are so brave and talented to do this and I loved watching you do it! I think the black turned out great on all of them. If you do the rest of the series I hope they all turn out wonderful ^.^

Haha thank you!! I'm definitely planning on doing all of the Nevernight books in black and I think this gave me some hints and tips on how to best use the black in the future too. It's so much fun!! Thank you!

Woahhhhh they came out soooo nice!!!! I’m too scared to do this- I feel like I would make a big mess lol 😂🖤🖤

Thanks you so much!! Secondhand books can be great to practice on with these. They don't matter as much if you make a mess and if you don't you can either keep it or donate it back as a nice surprise for whoever picks it up!

I've always wanted to do this but I'm scared I'll regret it afterwards haha

I was the same before I did it the first time! I'd advise grabbing a secondhand book you've got no interest in to try it out with for the first time. If you muck it up it doesn't matter and if it goes well someone else gets a treat if you donate the book back!

Do you do any other painting yourself?
I do like to just put down emoji's but how do you do that from a desktop computer? A "

Sadly not really! I was a little more into watercolour earlier in the year but with work I don't have time for it now. And I'm not any good at painting actual art with acrylics haha
Tell me about it! I tend to just write out the word of the emoji but people like doing it so I thought I'd join in haha. Definitely counts as a black heart!!

It baffles me how much people don't think of just opening a new window (Google), typing and searching ''black heart emoji'', copying the emoji and then pasting it into a comment.
