How I landed my first job in Canada as new immigrant - MY STRATEGY!

- This video encapsulates my strategy and approach of how I was able to secure a job within 50 days of landing in Canada, that too all without any referral. The journey was with its own ups and downs and self-doubt but I tried my best to look for job opportunities with a structured strategy rather than randomly applying on 100's of companies.
✓ Below are some points that I focussed on for approaching the whole job hunt process:
1. Zero-in on the region (province) I was interested in
2. Research companies and their presence in the province of interest
Point 1 and 2 can effect one another.
3. Follow the companies of interest, their posts, connect with individuals on LinkedIn, esp. their talent advisors/recruiters
4. Review job listings on their career portals, and reach out to LinkedIn network with someone who can refer me
5. Build an aesthetically appealing resume in country specific format
This part needs most of the time and needs to be done to perfection
6. While waiting to get employed work on any relevant certification
7. Continue building professional network and reach out to individuals from my previous orgs/college/school who have moved to Canada, and can help refer, or provide guidance.
Point to note is that I did consider the living expense while fixing a province of interest but that was not a huge factor, as earnings and expense go hand-in-hand.
