I really hope someone will soon make a list where each tier of meme is in. For example: A tier one meme would be one of those minion memes that our parents send on facebook and that anyone can understand. A tier 2 meme would be something that’s centered around a specific group of people like game or movie memes that most people won’t understand, but aren’t hard once you get into the area its from. A tier 3 meme would be, like this video implies, a meme you need extensive amounts of knowledge for, like you’d need to have been apart of a fandom or group for several years or decades, an example would be a meme about how something had changed over the years. Even if you get into it now, you were never there before it changed and won’t truly ever understand it
