Sliding doors like that are designed to be pushed off the rails and swing out in order to provide a larger emergency exit, so they could potentially open themselves up for a lawsuit if they lock them. slide them closed! THEN put a piece of Stick/2" x 4" or some Aluminum Extrusion of the right lenght BEHIND the sliding doors, between it's edge and the wall.
That is how we secure our sliding doors additionally against burglars. it adds an extra layer of protection and to slide against an immoveable object behind the door is nearly impossible. the door would shatter before the 2x4 or aluminum extrusion would burst....

I once had to walk home in this because back when I went to school my parents were far away and couldn’t get to me. So I walked home but made a stop at my local shop. Felt bad that I got my wet cloths dripping all over the floor but I needed a break before I continued my journey. Was about a 40 minute walk. I was surprisingly not cold. Perhaps I got used to the feeling but I wasn’t cold at all

Lol no lie I rode my motorcycle in this kind of weather, ironically enough I was on my way to a Subaru dealership. As soon as I walked in everyone stopped what they were doing and just stared at me, so I just took a deep breath and angrily screamed "I NEED A FUCKING CAR!" and sloshed my way to the restroom to try and dry myself.

So uh, that is not the force f the wind opening the doors. That is the sensors in the door thinking the wall of rain is somebody trying to enter, so the doors open. The easiest two things you could do to stop the doors from opening would be to shut off the door sensors, and to lock the door. Its not like anyone is going to be coming or going to or from the store so just lock the door. Also, if you cant figure that out, put a pole of some kind in the way of the door so it isn't able to open. Really not hard to think of ways for a door to stay shut.

Which is why you don't Chinch out, on buying plywood. It's cheaper to nail up plywood, than to loose 1st the doors, and windows, and then the interior( which is what happens after the elements breach) Masonry drill and anchor it to the exterior walls. Completely covering windows/ doors. Also, if you don't cheap out during initial construction, and design: you spend the pennies, and put in roll down steel shutters, and sliding side ways gates. Unless the wind is enough to pick up a truck , and throw it through , you're usually good.
