I'm reminded once again that Lexi is legally blind, which makes these even funnier. Especially when it takes a while for her to notice the issue.
Minestrone, at least here in tuscany, refers to almost any vegetable based soup with thin broth and veggies in pieces or chunks. Regional variants also include pasta, rice, legumes and/or parmesan.
The word literally means “grande minestra” , or “large soup” , and can be used by extrapolation to describe anything whose ingredients or components are mixed and matched together without any real precise rule.
There's minestrone bags that my local store sells that have pasta, tomato, and other sorts things like that that doesn't feel like that kind you've got.

@@vulpez650 Yeah, while in most mixtures there’s at least some sort of vegetable base, i don’t think a “standard” minestrone recipe actually exists. It was the poor farmer’s dish, used to clean out a pantry so that nothing went to waste - as such, you could ostensibly put anything in there and it would still be minestrone.

I'm just here to say that, while the station sign is obviously a mistake, it is most likely an error due to the french version of 24/7 which is slightly different, and would be written like "24h/24, 7d/7". However it's still a pretty dumb and fun mistake xD. Nice vid as always, you make my day everytime there's a new upload :D
As someone who speaks French, this explanation is probably correct.
I might be the one wrong but I don't see that as a mistake, in France, that 24h/24 sign is used a lot (it obviously means that the shop is open during all day) but the 7d/7 is rarely used (I see it way less than the other)
Im agreeing to say that this way to put only one is weird, but I think it's just the way it works in France
It is not an error due to the French version, simply the normal way to say it in French. We rarely precise "7j/7" after "24h/24".

I'm surprised there was no mention of carpeted bathrooms, on the note of strange home designs. I've never seen as many carpeted bathrooms before watching Emkay and I like looking at homes for sale when I'm bored. Idk what's going on in 'Murica, but it's not really going far

2:02 "Zebra crossing" is a britishism for a crosswalk, but specifically one indicated by painted stripes perpendicular to the direction of travel rather than, for example, two painted lines parallel to the direction of travel on either side of the walkway (or any other indicator).
In Russian, pedestrian crossings are also called “Zebra”s, in case you might be interested.
In my country they are known as "paso de cebra" which means the same.
Minestrone is any soup that is a broth with vegetable chunks in, and optionally pasta, that is not pureed smooth. The other two types are pureed soups and broth/consomme (clear soups).
The guys at the "baseball" game are actually at a cricket game. It was a match between South Africa (the two guys batting with 23 and 15 runs from 47 and 24 deliveries/pitches respectively and New Zealand (the guy with spectacles who's bowling/pitching. That specific tactile strip I’ve seen in Asia at some very large/busy businesses. It does have a purpose! Usually that specific design is used at bus terminals, airports, and malls to give a guide for where the taxis are. People using roller canes can pretty much find it, and put the cane in one of the grooves to lead them to the taxis
Minestrone ("mee-nuh-strow-nay") is basically vegetable soup. mixed vegetables forming a rich broth. Some like it pureed in a cream, but I find that version revolting.

Ingredients
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
2 medium carrots, peeled and chopped
2 medium ribs celery, chopped
¼ cup tomato paste
2 cups chopped seasonal vegetables (potatoes, yellow squash, zucchini, butternut squash, green beans or peas all work)
4 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon dried thyme
1 large can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes, with their liquid (or 2 small 15-ounce cans)
4 cups (32 ounces) vegetable broth
2 cups water
1 teaspoon fine sea salt
2 bay leaves
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Freshly ground black pepper
1 cup whole grain orecchiette, elbow or small shell pasta
1 can (15 ounces) Great Northern beans or cannellini beans, rinsed and drained, or 1 ½ cups cooked beans
2 cups baby spinach, chopped kale or chopped collard greens
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnishing (optional)
Instructions
Warm 3 tablespoons of the olive oil in a large Dutch oven or stockpot over medium heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add the chopped onion, carrot, celery, tomato paste and a pinch of salt. Cook, stirring often, until the vegetables have softened and the onions are turning translucent, about 7 to 10 minutes.
Add the seasonal vegetables, garlic, oregano and thyme. Cook until fragrant while stirring frequently, about 2 minutes.
Pour in the diced tomatoes and their juices, broth and water. Add the salt, bay leaves and red pepper flakes. Season generously with freshly ground black pepper.
Raise heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil, then partially cover the pot with the lid, leaving about a 1” gap for steam to escape. Reduce heat as necessary to maintain a gentle simmer.
Cook for 15 minutes, then remove the lid and add the pasta, beans and greens. Continue simmering, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until the the pasta is cooked al dente and the greens are tender.
Remove the pot from the heat, then remove the bay leaves. Stir in the lemon juice and remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Taste and season with more salt (I usually add about ¼ teaspoon more) and pepper until the flavors really sing. Garnish bowls of soup with grated Parmesan, if you’d like.
This is great but Lexi has stated many times she can't cook...she's the type that burns water...
Maybe her Wife can cook and give this recipe a try...

The balcony thing can happen when people in a house decide to install balconies together but one person does not agree to pay for theirs. Then the house will install it anyways and when someone moves in who wants it they just put in a door. This is more common when there are multiple balconies on one side of a building though....

Good to smile after trying Takis lollipops for a video and becoming sick to my stomach in the process because for some reason they overloaded the lollipop’s exterior with chili powder
With the door propped open I work at a fast food place and we do that for two reasons: we are airing out the store after a deep clean with chemicals, or we are taking out a lot of trash at in the morning or at shift change. Those doors are permanently locked from the outside so we do that so we do not have to walk around the building.
We have plenty of lamp/tele poles in middle of pathways with random manholes. It's what ya call poor city planning. 😂
