When the Bible was translated people still had the catholic belief that at death you went straight to either heaven or hell so the comma was placed in Luke 23:43 as, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise. But you will see from John 20:17 several days later that Jesus had not gone to heaven. Jesus said to Mary, Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. Now we know that Jesus would not be mistaken, or go back on His word, so the translation must be mistaken. What Jesus really said in Luke 23:43 was "Verily I say unto you today, you shall be with me in paradise." Just a very subtle difference but it removes the confusion where in Revelation it says that we sleep in our graves until the return of Jesus and the resurrection where we rise up to meet Jesus in the air. Revelation 20:6. And 1 Thessalonians 4:16/17.

@@VIP1G Why Yahweh created us is something he only truly knows but Yeshua died for our sins to redeem man because we had shown the lord hatred and malice and every other thing evil that man was capable of so he sent his only begotten son along with many others he asked but did not send to redeem us of our sins only yeshua did this because he was perfect. but this was done so we did not have to be bound to hell after death and since he did this those who so choose to believe in his son and what he did for humanity will be granted eternal life, his sacrifice for our sins opened the gates of heaven to all worthy of it. It's not just believing its following after his ways, Yeshua was and is the only perfect human to ever walk the face of Earth. Some people say all religions lead to God and that is true in one respect. There is only one true God, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is in it. When we die we will all stand in judgement before him. But God is Holy and righteous and just and can not tolerate any sin which includes all of his laws of the 10 Commandments he gave to Moses. As a sinless man at 30 yrs old he told all the people to stop worshipping false Gods or following false laws but to turn back to Holy God (YHWY) whilst some believed him the Jewish religious leaders plotted to get rid of him and he was falsely accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death by crucifixion by the Romans who ruled at that time. This was all in Gods plan to give us the ultimate sacrifice of his son Jesus once and for all time. By Jesus taking on the sin of all mankind, shedding of blood and dying on the cross, burial and rising from the dead after three days he is able to take away your sin and wash you clean by his blood that was shed for you. He became the ultimate blood sacrifice for all who put their hope and trust in him. If we do make him Lord of our life he is our advocate, just like a lawyer who represents a defendant before a judge, Jesus becomes the bridge for us to come into Heaven and stand holy and righteous before Holy God. If we do not repent and turn from our sin and accept Jesus when we die, then we will have our place in the lake of fire separated for all eternity from Holy God with all the other sinners who refused salvation. All we have to do is repent or turn away from our sins and accept Jesus as the Lord and saviour of our life. If we do this with a sincere heart Jesus is able to wash away our sins and transgressions and make us a child of God. We all need to come before Jesus daily to ask forgiveness for our sins as we all sin through our thoughts, words or deeds. When the Bible was translated people still had the catholic belief that at death you went straight to either heaven or hell so the comma was placed in Luke 23:43 as, Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise. But you will see from John 20:17 several days later that Jesus had not gone to heaven. Jesus said to Mary, Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father. Now we know that Jesus would not be mistaken, or go back on His word, so the translation must be mistaken. What Jesus really said in Luke 23:43 was "Verily I say unto you today, you shall be with me in paradise." Just a very subtle difference but it removes the confusion where in Revelation it says that we sleep in our graves until the return of Jesus and the resurrection where we rise up to meet Jesus in the air. Revelation 20:6. And 1 Thessalonians 4:16/17.

@@VIP1G Why Yahweh created us is something he only truly knows but Yeshua died for our sins to redeem man because we had shown the lord hatred and malice and every other thing evil that man was capable of so he sent his only begotten son along with many others he asked but did not send to redeem us of our sins only yeshua did this because he was perfect. but this was done so we did not have to be bound to hell after death and since he did this those who so choose to believe in his son and what he did for humanity will be granted eternal life, his sacrifice for our sins opened the gates of heaven to all worthy of it. Had Yahweh not sacrificed his son EVERYBODY would be doomed to hell after dying, now hell dosnt just mean burning for all eternity it means to be in a state of sleep and at eternal rest. so once the gates of the kingdom were opened yeshua promises that who ever believed in him and lived righteous they will never perish but instead have eternal life and place in the kingdom of heaven he goes to prepare a place for us and he will return to recieve his followers if it were not true he would have told us so. but those who lived wicked or chose not to believe in him will perish and be tossed into the lake of fire. so I don't really see how this dosnt make sense. makes perfect sense to me. if I sacrificed my son for world to save them from eternal damnation and people didn't even belive it ever happened In spite of the holy Bible being made to teach us about all that we need to know and what he did. if people choose not to belive all that he suffered through for ALL our sins throughout all of time then they truly are not worthy to be in the presence of our creator or to inherent the kingdom of heaven, Ego is partially why people don't believe this because in order to be a true believer of Yahweh one must deny himself and be born again through the eyes Yeshua. PRAYER FOR TODAY
2 Peter 1:3
"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:"
Beloved, the truth is - there is no child of God who is NOT EMPOWERED. We only have some who have NOT DISCOVERED. God through his divine power has given you ALL THINGS for a successful life because you are called to GLORY and VIRTUE. Therefore, pray with me today: "Lord , open my eyes and reveal the knowledge hidden from me. Cause me to see opportunities. Cause me to see help. Some people say all religions lead to God and that is true in one respect. There is only one true God, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is in it. When we die we will all stand in judgement before him.
But God is Holy and righteous and just and can not tolerate any sin which includes all of his laws of the 10 Commandments he gave to Moses.
We have all broken his 10 commandments to some degree even in the smallest things. We are all guilty of breaking his laws and are not worthy to come into his presence.
In ancient times a sacrifice was required to atone for peoples sin and an animal was slaughtered and it’s blood poured out as a sin offering.
During those ancient times God also had Prophets to urge the people not to worship false Gods of wood, stone, Gold or Silver but to turn away from their wickedness and seek and worship Holy God but they were ignored or killed.
2000 yrs ago God gave us his ultimate sacrifice in the form of Jesus who was sent to earth to be born of a virgin called Mary. As a sinless man at 30 yrs old he told all the people to stop worshipping false Gods or following false laws but to turn back to Holy God (YHWY) whilst some believed him the Jewish religious leaders plotted to get rid of him and he was falsely accused of blasphemy and sentenced to death by crucifixion by the Romans who ruled at that time.
This was all in Gods plan to give us the ultimate sacrifice of his son Jesus once and for all time. By Jesus taking on the sin of all mankind, shedding of blood and dying on the cross, burial and rising from the dead after three days he is able to take away your sin and wash you clean by his blood that was shed for you. He became the ultimate blood sacrifice for all who put their hope and trust in him.
If we do make him Lord of our life he is our advocate, just like a lawyer who represents a defendant before a judge, Jesus becomes the bridge for us to come into Heaven and stand holy and righteous before Holy God.
If we do not repent and turn from our sin and accept Jesus when we die, then we will have our place in the lake of fire separated for all eternity from Holy God with all the other sinners who refused salvation.
All we have to do is repent or turn away from our sins and accept Jesus as the Lord and saviour of our life. If we do this with a sincere heart Jesus is able to wash away our sins and transgressions and make us a child of God. We all need to come before Jesus daily to ask forgiveness for our sins as we all sin through our thoughts, words or deeds.
Friend I do hope you will take this step of faith and be assured your eternal destiny is in Heaven with Jesus.
