“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
This verse shows that God loves you and created you for a life that is full and meaningful (John 10:10)!
Why is it that most people are not experiencing this abundant life? Because all of us sin, and our sin has separated us from God (Romans 3:23).
We were created to have fellowship with God, but because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own way, and our fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is what the Bible calls sin.
“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Death is spiritual separation from God.
God is holy and people are sinful, and a great gulf separates us. We are continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion - but we fail.
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives! Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-6), and is the only way to God (John 14:6). God has bridged the gulf that separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
We must individually receive Jesus Christ through faith as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives (Ephesians 2:8-9). When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth.
Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him” (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer.
Prayer is talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here is a suggested prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, then you can pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

When I was a kid, I knew that Jesus died on the cross but as I grew older I didn’t realize that He endured so much pain and suffering just so He could save us. Thank you Lord for saving us when we don’t deserve it

You know I once had a thought in my head I imagined Jesus on the floor, bloodied, yet still dragging his Cross. And I spat at him and kicked him down further and he would turn around and look at me and say “I still love you”. Each time we sin we kick down Christ, we spit on him, we give him another lashing, yet despite all of that he still loves us.

(New Christian here.) For the first time in my prayer, I have truly felt repentance. This video was so hard to watch, I was in tears. How could someone so merciful and forgiving go through so much hardship and still be loving. That is truly something divine within Jesus Christ, for he is God's one and only son.

I should have died back in march but he showed mercy and saved me from my sickness. Nurses said if I were there 30 minutes later my blood would have went fully septic but god gave me the strength to make it. Eternally grateful. Much love to my brothers and sisters

As a theology student I wouldn't agree... ‘Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends’ (John 15:13). It was in Gods plan for him to die for our sins. We are all worthy of Gods love. But it is not for us to decide if we deserve it or not. Only God knows who is worthy. Stay faithful brother and God bless you!

Jesus' death is the most beautiful tragedy in all of history.

I am a Christian and I am glad to read your comments. If you are leaning towards agnosticism and want to learn more about Christianity and the confidence people have in their faith, read the 4 Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Don't become a Christian because someone told you, become one because you are convinced by the amount of historical/reliable evidence that support the life, teachings, death and ressurection of Jesus Christ outweighs the amount of faith needed to believe in atheism. To believe there is really nothing after death, that terrible people that live and never get punished in this live will never be punished ever. That without God, morality is relative to the individual and culture and if the culture decides one thing, it is what it is. No evil, no good.

I recommend looking into Thomas Campbell PhD.'s (nuclear physicist) Big Picture Unified Field Theory of Everything that contains information about the true nature of the creator that he deduced using his first hand experience as reference. I also recommend Robert Monroe's books to read before reading Tom Campbell's Big TOE as it outlines how Tom Campbell even figured out how to gather his own information in the first place and it all corroborates Jesus' life ultimately even if unintentionally because Jesus makes a guest appearance in Robert Monroe's second book.

He had to suffer and go through all of that pain to satisfy the justice of God, that we naturally deserve to be casted upon us because of our sinful nature. Giving the perfect sacrifice, the perfect payment for our transgressions, he went there willingly so that we may finally be free, and so that we may be saved in his name, and cleansed from our wickedness, to have a relationship with the Father, and one day, God may allow us to come into the full glory of his presence and his kingdom.

The only complaint I have is the grunts of pain while being whipped; in reality, we'd be screaming like banshees at the first whip, the nailing scene, though did cause me to squirm.

Almost every religion acknowledges Jesus and says "yeah, hes one of the ways" and then Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life" he acknowledges himself. In Isaiah 53, it foretells the coming of Jesus and what would happen to him.

Jesus did what God had in plan for him...Sometimes when I don't know what to do I ask myself: "What would Jesus do?" He was sentenced to death he accepted it and went fell three times but still got up and finished the plan that God gave him. Remember that God loves you and he has a plan for each and everyone of us. I absolutely love this, not the fact that Jesus had to go through all this pain, but one how he endured all of this to deliver us filthy sinners a chance to be redeemed and cleaned because we cannot do it ourselves. I love how someone actually put in the effort to make a genuinely good and accurate animation to depict this, to give people a deeper understanding of what happened. I don't know it just excites me. I understand animation is hard and takes so much time, but if there is a way I would love to see an entire series like this.

for healing my heart during a heart attack!
On March 26th 2022,
just past midnight,
I was laying restless in bed,
and I had a heart attack.
My arms and legs became tingly and numb,
then my chest got tighter,
and then my heart felt like it was being crushed.
So I sang out to God and Jesus,
about my pain, my feelings,
my faults and my inabilities.
As I sang, I began to feel like a river,
and a hand was on my back,
it's fingers where skimming the surface,
separating the waters,
causing ripples through my body.
Then the hand reached inside my chest,
lit my heart on fire,
and the heat moved like waves through my body.
When I was done singing,
all the pain was gone,
and I looked at the clock,
it was past 1am,
I had been singing near an hour.
Then the voice of my guardian angel called my name from above,
and there was a hymn of energy in the air,
the same hymn I hear in my dreams of God.
Hallelujah to the Lord my God for healing my heart!
Hallelujah for His son Jesus for saving my soul!
Hallelujah for every day!
Hallelujah for every breath!
The Lord is Faithful and true!
May the Lord Bless your hearts,
