how do u maintain roof integrity in the valley between . did u not cut into the rafters ? where i live gets 4 ft of heaver wet snow in 2 hours ... i would do this if i know it was strong nuff.

could i not also follow the rafters with the add on sides, to the roof height. and how would u deal with what would be a flat roof?
What did you need to do code wise? Hire an architect or just research it yourself?
