Great track, good band. I have a lot of their material and always enjoy listening to them, so it'd be great to hear more, loads of great tunes to choose from.
The Album 'In it for the Money' is a Masterpiece. Gaz has got Corgan's Mellon Collie snarl in this song for sure. I'm very happy that you liked this song.
Thank you for posting that video! We don’t like to chance things by using the label or artist’s videos bc they are too often blocked. We appreciate you giving our reaction a watch, and you’re always welcome to come back for more if ya like! Thanks again, and have a great day! - Andy
Always a favourite pick-me-up band to listen to in the 90s. They had a range of rocky and distinctively british fun tracks (caught by the fuzz etc) Gaz is currently touring at the moment. Really loving the chanel guys, always looking forward to see what delights are thrown into the ring. I cant decide which of yous will be putting The Pixies forward as a potential future review
Interesting that Andy found the vocals Billy Corgan-like. I'd never noticed the resemblance, but it's obvious when pointed out. They're not a band I've spent a lot of time with, but they're always enjoyable.
Honestly, I thought Andy had lost it when he said Billy Corgan. But listening again, as you say it's obvious and he's spot on. Never saw it before either. Spooky. Cheers, Jon.
Three-seater tandem makes me think of The Goodies. Bez is from Mark Berry. Theremin makes me think of John Otway... (I saw him once - hilarious.) (I think we'd better let him in, I've heard he's got a theremin...)
Andy nailed the smashing pumpkins vocal comparison something i wouldn't have picked out as i grew up with Supergrass so i was too close to them, plus they are very identifiable as a sound but the pumpkins take tracks when you listen back, great band to listen to full albums as all the songs are quality - seen them live in stockton by accident at a free festival i didnt know was on - they are very good live better than the record if thats actually possible...
Supergrass are the UK's greatest secret weapon, musically.
Best band that came out of ‘Britpop’ and I still listen to them
not pop
That drop after the quiet bit and the guitars and the driving drums hit hypes me up no end, glad you felt the same.
Saw all the 90s british bands live and supergrass were by far the best by a long way
Did you see Cast?
Hi no i did not
@@twowheelsandwhiskey3868 they were also very good live.
Was wondering when we’d be seeing some Supergrass. It was on my list for Greg.
I found the Life on Other Planets album at a listening station.
Very much at the heavier end of what Supergrass did but not to the extent that I'd say it was outside their normal range.
Great driving song 👍
In fact it's good for all golf shots - except putting.
Cheers, Jon.
The great Mick Quinn on bass and backing vocals
Great song

Thanks MM.
Cheers, Jon.
Yeah this LP all killer no filler. Late in the Day and Sun Hits the Sky two stellar examples
Darren = Daz, that's another one.
Thanks Kez.
Cheers, Jon.
From hearing “Sittin up straight on the back of bus…..” they have been great
Thank you so much guys for choosing my video! 😁 I really liked you reaction.

Thanks Marc, glad you enjoyed it.
Of the two of us, I'm your Pixies man. Forever slicing up eyeballs.
Cheers, Jon.

Billy Corgan esque vocals!
Now play "It's Not Me," or "St. Petersburg," to him. LOL. Supergrass can do ANYTHING!
John forgot to say that richerd the third in the UK means a terd a shit!!!
Great band, got all the albums.
I always thought the title might have been rhyming slang.

The fade out at the end makes you want to immediately listen to it again, I think they did intentionally for that!
billy corgan blows chunks, supergrass are way better
Noted. Thanks for dropping in with that. - Andy
That was a great album..."In It for the Money".
