I dumpster dive too. And I understand wanting people to watch your videos. But putting the stores name in your titles is just asking for them to make sure to always destroy the merchandise and get crushers. It’s already gotten so much worse since all the videos are being made. I love what you found and love watching your videos I just don’t agree with putting the stores names in your titles.

@@kaziglu8344 they used too. They have gone back and forth with names. Dumpster diving isn't illegal it's honestly the stores manager who is going to decide whether or not to ruin everything. There are stores that don't care and some that act like you're committing a crime. I hated when they called stores other names tbh Maybe one day with all the diving and negative attention it brings to stores they will take a hint and change corporate policies and be able to donate

As much as I love watching dive vids & I'm glad everyone gets free stuff, the waste by all these stores is just stunning! Not sure why they can't either donate some of this stuff to shelters, charities, etc. or just put it all on a table out front & mark it at $1 or free.

With the bent pot, you can email the company and just say that you got it as a gift from friends that live far away and you were wondering if the company could send you a new large pot. Just make sure to say how much you love their products and look forward to using the full pot set.
You just use a rubber mallet on the pans and whatever other metal items you have look like new again . You just hit it back into shape from the inside out
They only thing about whacking pans back into shape.. Is depending on they metal... It could of caused the metal to crack or break down and like with non stick pans it can leach metal/chemicals into your food when you cook in it... And she said the lid was stuck in it but a minute earlier he was holding the lid... So it was likely just the angle it got pushed in... Should come back out and might got another pan you already have at home. I would really reconsider using the pan itself for actual cooking though. It could be used for so many other things...ie... drill holes in the bottom and use it for a cool planter. keep the plant in the plastic or Terra cotta pot and just sit it in the pan for more stability to not get knocked over.or o be able to soak they plant better..or use it for crafting to hold stuff.. or in the garage to hold whatever... Anyways... Just my point is I would not cook with it.
Sadly we can't go in our bby anymore. they found a drunk in it 3 weeks ago and he was almost dead so now they lock it up as did most others around town.
the rachel ray pot you can use a rubber malet on it to bend it right back good as new, sometimes you can even just pullit back into place. You guys hit an awesome awesome dive tonight!! keep up the good work!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
The first place you stopped when you got them to wooden baskets when was brown and one was white one of the pieces of wood for the white one was in there you missed it or unless you got it before you left
My husband is an artist. He does all kinds of painting so and we usually buy frames But for the oil paintings we have to take the glass out because you can't put a glass over an oil painting. Love the videos
I've seen people taken a rubber hammer and bent out pans perfectly. (They buy boxes of kitchen stuff on auctions and there are always pots and pans with dents in them. First step you both take a side on the pan and pull. And for the last bits he uses a rubber hammer. And the teflon stays on perfectly...) Give it a go 😜
Happy 2019! Was so curious so I tried diving in my neighborhood tonight... Michaels, Office Depot, Costco, Lowes, Home Depot, Ulta, Big 5, Dollar Tree.... all pretty much empty. Major fail lol! Guess it wasn't meant to be.🤣 At least not on New year's day. Thought stores wld be closed/less traffic for a diving virgin. Haha! Heart was pounding in case caught. Bad night to go. Not my luck, I guess.
Where I live all the stores and other businesses lock their dumpsters because so many people leave half the stuff that was in it on the ground unlike these guys who pick up after themselves. The dumpsters are fully closed also. They give the combo to the trash company.

New subscriber! Glass (as you know) super easy to replace in anything. If you have the dimensions you can go get glass and plexiglass cut at places like Sears. I used to work there. We had a guy who did this on a regular basis. And its inexpensive, too!😊👍🆎

You can take the paint off easily.... depending on the paint used.... rubbing alcohol will get off sharpie marks on non-porous surfaces, and paint thinners will wipe off lots of different types of paint.

I know this post is long after this dive, but 1. I just found y'alls channel a few days ago, and 2. For future use you can take tissue paper and stuff it in the defects of plaster type items, glue the plaster back together around the tissue making sure you get the appropriate shape of the item, then take spackle ( like you use to fill holes in walls) and spackle the hole and contour to correct shape, let dry thoroughly, then paint to match or however you want. Voila it's fixed.
This stuff that they are finding at the stores are the kind of stuff they put in the clearance isles at the stores where I live ... they would never trash perfectly good stuff ...!!! Who Wouldn't want that food in those lanterns ...???

Oh! Forgot .. The one silver pressure cooker that was in the box... You said the pressure cookers rarely work, but that was a 'non electric' pressure cooker. You just put it on the stove. And if the pressure release is missing, as sometimes on the stove to ones it can come off... Just write the company and ask for the part... At most it might be a couple bucks. But a lot of people still prefer the non electric ones.

Hey, i love watching you two. with the pressure cookers, all you have to do is oil the gaskets really well with mineral oil, that will expand the gasket and keep them soft and pliable, doing that will ensure a good tight seal, make it work like a champ. hope this helps you out! I love cooking with my pressure cooker, and canning too. have some fun with it.
Please heed what thruerinseyes says. She is absolutely right. Even thrift shops crush perfectly good drop offs anymore. Sometimes only because they're too lazy to carry heavy things in. So they throw things in the crusher

People who works in stained glass would love to have the lanterns. We replace the glass with stained glass- very pretty!

I'm loving all the frames. I dont even use the backing of my frames. I use velcro 3m stickies. Those are perfect.

You can use a rubber mallet and hammer out that bend in that Rachel Ran pan. Works all the time. Use clear plexiglass to replace the broken glass.
