La Jolla Calico and Rock Fishing + HUGE Channel Announcements!

Today we are fishing in La Jolla for Calico Bass, Pacific Mackerel some rockfish on our NEW BOAT! That's right! We purchased a 2004 Seaswirl Striper Walkaround. Congrats on the boat! I fish down La Jolla as well but I seen you docked off of Oceanside that’s close to 19miles if you’re coming down. I launch off of SeaWorld side harbor”sea shores”. It’s closer from there to La Jolla and you save gas especially right now. Good luck, Tight Lines!

Thanks! Yeah, I actually prefer to ride down in the boat from Oceanside it doesn't save any time by trailering down...I'm super close to Oside harbor. I launch at south shores too if I trailer but it takes you 20 mins just to leave mission bay haha. Definitely saves on gas though for sure, but I just enjoy the ride and at least that way I'm still fishing! It'll probably be 50/50 when I go to LJ which way I go.
