Yeah same here, Ideally I would prefer having the volumes since they are smaller which makes them easier to bring to places to read and they also have great cover artwork which makes them more collectible but the only way to get them brand new now is through the 20th anniversay box sets as far as I know and they're over 165$ where Im from which totals to over 600$ bucks for the whole collection. I think I'll stick with the 80$ combendiums lol
Bruh I got the first compendium about a week or two ago and I remember reading for an hour and a half. Right now I’m just starting the Governor ark. It’s so good and more brutal and sad than the show💯💯💯

Better to get it Ike this. No covers are a drawback but better than all the hardcovers. Not for kids at all. Gore, violence and sexual assault and other stuff..

So was just wondering how many volumes are in one? Would I need to buy volume 7 and 8 then get the 2nd compendium? Thank you in advance

Hi Ammarlifts, if you have not watched the tv show, maybe even better, cause the story will feel new, and not copy and paste from the book to tv show!! There are small changes from book to tv show, but overall I did find the story of the books better then the tv show!! I have the individual volumes on my Kindle, but it's cheaper to go the Compendium route, if you don't mind not having the cover art for the volumes.
