Thanks for sharing, I love Caribbean dishes and all it entails, Jamaican food is no different. By the way, is the "spicy to the bone" seasoning a Yardman brand?
Yeah it is...doubt you will find it anywhere outside of Jamaica. It's really similar to Cajun seasoning but it has pimento and some dried Jamaican herbs like thyme
Oh cool. I misunderstood when you said Yardman brand... Thought you just meant local to Jamaica but there's actually a company called Yardman. Their "Season to the Bone" looks a lot like "Spicy to the Bone" still. Thanks for the info 🙏🏾
Olive oil is not a very good oil for frying, it has a lower smoke point, there are other oils like peanut, canola or corn oil that have a neutral taste and a high smoke point
08/28/2024 @ 2AM - You are such a good teacher. Yes man. Your descriptive words (some I don't even know what they mean) and explanations are so interesting and keeps me attentive. Great recipe for me to try. Can you do fry chicken next time please? Have a blessed night/day. I'm going to watch all your videos now. :)

@feedandteach can you also blend the pineapple mixture instead of discarding it ?
Yup. 100% , that would get way more of the pineapple flavours

@@feedandteach I did find it but wanted to confirm. I'll try the curry seasoning too, thanks again.
Did you find it overseas?
@@feedandteach no, the contact info says it's from Florida under Yardman Spice.
