    Sigh... I live in Venezuela and I definitely support the democratically elected President Maduro and his government. I also supported the democratically elected Hugo Chavez. I do not approve of the the right wing facist racist Venezuelans. I do not approve of anyone calling for an invasion of Venezuela.

      More than 90% of businesses are PRIVATELY owned in Venezuela which makes Venezuela a CAPITALIST country with socialist programs. Simple. Stop the lies.

      Brisa La Africana Too Bad the currency is worthless. The only businesses maduro and his Russian backers didn’t nationalize were the ones making little to no money. If you really live in Venezuela tell us all how much it costs for say milk, chicken and rice.

    Shameless propaganda. Even the title reflects a mindset of materialsim. Yes he was a strong man.... in the sense that David was a strong man facing Goliath. What ultimately defines a strong man is not his being a strong man but what he is strong in fighting for..... Chávez fought for the poor and for the oppressed. It is misleading to call him merely a strong man. You mean a champion of the poor. A follower of Jesus in the truest sense. A man who live forever in the hearts of millions.

    • @IcelanderUSer
      @IcelanderUSer 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Larry Medina Oh please. Blame the west for the terrible mismanagement of the economy. Nationalizing thousands of companies led to the country’s collapse. Running an economy is a complex affair. One important component are equity markets. If companies can’t borrow money or raise money with stocks or bonds, they’re going to have a near impossible time paying bills or even surviving. Tell anyone how nationalizing an economy has ever been a good thing. Has ever been successful. It hasn’t. So what Chavez did was extremely reckless because in appealing to his voters most basic understanding of the balance of power he ended up destroying any hope of a more just and equitable society.
      India and China have seen hundreds of millions of people rise up out of poverty. They did this with the full participation of the west. The delusional Chavez and maduro thought they could achieve the same without the west. Ironically, having Russia, Iran and Cuba as your trading partners and best friends has done zilch for the Venezuelan people. It hasn’t raised anyone out of poverty. Building those connections with these three countries was done for one simple reason. It kept them in power. Forget democracy. These wrongmen want power more than anything else in this world. I hope they enjoy it while it lasts because the people are fed up and tired of starving.

    I am a Venezuelan btw. my family has been trying to get our second apartment in Caracas back from the renters for over 12 years. The government allows them to stay in OUR apartment which my parents killed themselves working for. They don't even pay the market rate for rent, they pay the rate from 12 years ago. That my friend is illegal, we can't even have our own property back. There are many cases like this and many times they lose their houses to these invaders, in the name of "the revolution"

      what does India have as a natural resource than its people who can be put to work like China did using capitalism policies? China's way is the way to go for India on economy. It should also suit our Red comrades since it is communist.

    Well, the devil still rules USA but let Venezuela be spared this fate - fully entrenched by now! Madura must continue to follow Chavez's fight against imperialism & false democracy that plagues USA (& much of western world! I'm hopeful that Madura & Venezuelan people will persevere & succeed in continuation of Chavez's life commitment (via Bolivar's true social democracy) for Venezuela.

    Somebody says that socialism is good why did Russia failed and the result is tens of millions died of which most are poor people. It is true that in capitalism there is disparity because there are people to lead and people to be led. Rich people has capital to make business or invest in manufacturing thst employs lots of people. It is said that for one manufacturing job 5 indirectly job is created. From this business taxes like capital gains , dividends and others are being paid to the government . They all pay income taxes too. Buy lots of equipment. Here a lot of could donate or help others. Let us face it, the poor will be always with us.socialism is good as long there is money to spend.
