      Nothing new - anybody who's studied what the long term consequences of adopting socialism is, knows this is no surprise, infact, based on history, this was inevitable.

      @@kelly_41m68 : Why are you people so wantonly ignorant? Venezuela hasn't been socialist in many years. They are an oligarchy. What the republicans (granted with help from many of the democrats) is trying to turn the U.S. into. Just do yourselves the favor of looking up what the words actually mean, and most importantly, stop allowing your bigoted ideal to make you so delusional and cowardly that you will believe anything.

      Very good and very true. It's a covert operation, very strategic. Control Food, Water, and shelter you control the masses. Just like Hilter's world dominance plan using the Party system, corporate greed and military. Sound familiar. Flint, Monsanto,housing collapse, endless wars taking over other countries, progressive removal of democracy, scapegoating targeting of a religion or ethnic group. Poor created then accused of causing the economic problems in the country. Nothing new here it's an historical.approach.Media propaganda plays a large role and self-serving short sighted politicians who do not believe they will ever be targeted? Guess again. .

      +profd65 I never understood how a person can detest wealth and want access to that wealth at the same time. If you hate money and choose to live under a freeway overpass i can respect that. But if you vilify the rich but want his money (the reason you hate him) that makes you a hypocrite.

    • @rhondad4012
      @rhondad4012 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rigging our political system against all others should be villified when elected politicians play a role in this set-up it's a pure corrupted system. What about a corrupted system is there to be a hypocrite about Willemo44? Please explain I can't wait for you to explain why we should approve or like that type of unchecked system. Thank you.

    • @williemo44
      @williemo44 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Rhonda F rigging political system? Was this directed at me? Does not seem to align with my comment. I seek to understand how a soldier (Chavez) or a Pan-African child of a Kenyan Anti-Colonialist (died broke and alcoholic) and a Caucasian Student from a blue collar household (Obama); can preach class warfare and anti-wealth sentiment; then become millionaires themselves. But I guess when I figure out how a nation divided against the 1% can nominate and get behind a candidate who is in the 1% of the 1% as the voice of the people who have no voice. You folks get so deep in your cause u ignore the obvious.

    Siempre se dice y se enfatiza el valor de las exportaciones de tal o cual producto al exterior trae 500 millones de dolares o mas y que eso es bueno para la economia y lo es en realidad???. La realidad es de que una gran mayoria de ese dinero va a pocos bolsillos. Tener una produccion de lo que sea en Europa no resulta productivo como en sudamerica o Asia porque alla se pagan sueldos altos y cuando ese producto sale al mercado, su precio no puede ser competitivo, y eso es lo que en realidad sucede. Producir algo en nuestros paises para exportar es solo una conveniencia economica que favorece a los exportadores.

    Jesus was not a socialist...

    • @josboersema1352
      @josboersema1352 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's not even true: Jesus *was* a socialist (he took the wealth of the rich and distributed it to his following; or so the story goes), but Jesus isn't of any interest because Jesus is a faker, an idol, and the anti-christ and the big Lie made up in Rome.
      Who is of interest, is Mozes or the God of Israel who gave the law (if you prefer): Everyone gets an equal share of the land, loans are without interest and every 7 years there is a bankruptcy purge of debts. Has anyone learned and used their heads ? Oh no of course not, while billions of people pretend to have Mozes in the highest regards, they cannot even be bothered to know, much less take it serious. The solution has always been there, humanity gets the hell it chooses on its own.
      But it doesn't matter what anyone says, humans will never care, and soon come the great culling (World War 3) and then it's all over for most people. Don't come back complaigning to me about it, I give you the chance you deserved, which isn't anything more then a fighting chance in hell. The rest is up to the Creator and yourselves.

    Wikipedia says Venezuela is a mixed economy - it's about 70% capitalist. That won't stop you dumb asses parroting your TV "news." Nothing more pathetic than brainwashed flag wavers. The CDC estimates there are more than 20 million new cases of STDs in the United States each year. At least half occur in young people ages 15 to 24. Gotta give the military several billion more, no money for free prenatal visits. Yay capitalism. Regime change needs to happen in Washington DC before anyplace else.

    The problem of Chavez was that he never went beyond capitalism. He was a leftist populist with no understand of how to build genuine socialism. He knew he could not do the Stalinist model so he stayed with a mixture of social democracy, leftist nationalism and populism. This created power struggle as the government tried to take power from the ruling class of Venezuela. The Chavez government became a competitor and the capitalist class did not liked it. They started to play on corruption and crime to turn people against him. This only worked three years after Chavez's death!
    The rich and the big capitalists build luxurious houses, protected by private security. They never cared about social justice or stopping the reasons for crime. Because Chavez's inability to look further then capitalism, his Boliviarian Revolution started to crack. His death in 2013 sealed it as Nicolas Maduro is lacking both charisma and political support. His authoritarianism is a product of desperation, he is losing power and fears a return to the days when the politicians fully supported capitalism. This was preventable had both Chavez and Maduro made the move towards real socialism. But after 17 years of government mismanagement, political corruption, huge crime and a crisis due to lower oil profits, the capitalist opposition has won the hearts and minds of many workers. This is why a new workers party must be build to combat the capitalist politics that soon will be implemented!
