Help me think of video titles for all my vlogs that just have dates for their titles, leave your title suggestions in the comments!? My video titles can always be improved so keep the suggestions coming and my currently favorite suggestion will be updated as the video title, thanks for your help there i have a hard time choosing titles so ive been just letting the auto-generated, dated titles be displayed.

Thanks for the review. I'm all for solar cooking as you can guess by my name, but this looks like PITA to me to cook a tiny meal. I'd use a wood gasifier stove which is much cheaper and runs with twigs you can find along the way, sooted pans or pots can be stored away in plastic bags, hot water can be kept in a cheap thermos flask. Greetings from Germany 🙂
Where these really shine is in an off grid cabin like mine…. In the hot summer, we don’t want any heat in the cabin at all…. But maybe we want to bake a cake….. doesn’t heat the cabin up at all and you can leave it in a window.
The other nice thing is that these are like a thermos in how they retain heat so you can cook or bake something and it will be HOT many hours later-gotta be careful not to dry out cakes that way by leaving them in the hot tube though.
We cant burn fires here in the summer

instead of double sided tape, use guerilla glue spray foam. Then you have better support for each piece of mirror you cut out, especially for continuous cleaning.

Aaron-just use some use potato chip bags (the shiny side) to re-cover these. You can apply it over the old dull reflector over and over when it gets scratched.
And those reflectors aren’t “nano” coated or anything, they are polished metal. The material is just soft enough that it scratches easy.
No they are sprayed with a nano reflective substance you can take a new gosun and wipe a dry tissue across the reflector and see the silver particles rub off
Agree, save the cook tube safe with case and have a small cylindrical chrome metal dormroom paper bucket be the adjusted reflector.
Great video? Where you been? I started to call to make sure your ok, but I don't want to bother you . I'm in a electric wheelchair. I would love to make a version of your wagon that I could tow with my chair but I weigh like three hundred and stand over six feet. I like that you open carry. We can do that in Texas. Hi! Thats sounds like a rad idea mobile teeny home hauling your smaller more mobile chair for getting around indoors. I actually found a perfect place for the Sport!
I use my Go Sun Go for water boiling exclusively to make coffee and tea. For that purpose it is excellent in my opinion.
I agree, it also roasts beans fairly well but then needs cleaning to boil clean tasting water
Townsends did an episode on Sheep and wool from the 18th Century.
Apparently they did something to the wool so it didn’t itch.
Thank ewe for your donation! Fine wool does not itch, coarse, itchy wool shouldnt be used for inside clothing, it should be used for abrasion resistant uses like outside clothing, patching outside clothing, sandal soles, bedding, etc.

Have you ever heat Shields a plastic film with aluminum foil and a clothing irand after cools off you'll peel the aluminum foil off the part that you heat shield together, and you can build a very nice stretch, I used it to make a greenhouse to attach the Poles of the greenhouse I wrapped film around the Poles. Heat shield them on and then I could take the film actually for the glazing and heat shield that onto the polls. You might want to look at something like that. You might even want to look for a small windmill , so you could run your electric blanket think it's fifty watts , so when it's blowing outside the struggle , the more blows , the more heat you're going to get or more electricity for your blanket
I have the fusion, the sport, the sport e, the go, and their new solar oven kit that's less than $50
Just recently purchased both of these models and it seems the Go is a bit too small and the Sport is a bit too long. Wish they made a size in between ( said Goldilocks, lol)😊 Appreciate your idea for using mirror pieces. I also dislike how the Go tray drips into the case...Anyway, you're the reason I've even bought them so thanks Aaron, I really do enjoy them!
Also you should know they make a 16oz kettle that fits into the Sport tube to boil water
Yeah i had that kettlenin older videos but it was the reason my tube broke from thermal shock that one time i think cause putting it in only goes down halfway so when it starts heating the heatsink contents are only on one end of the tube so the ends heat up at different rates and that stresses the tube glass? Plus that thing only held like 12 oz when they coulda just made it full length and the 40oz tube’s capacity?! I think the Go isnt good for food but its great for boiling water when you cant burn stove in summer fire hazard restrictions AND i dint think i put it in videos yet but the go it perfect for solar roasting coffee beans so im mainly gonna use it for water, beans and desserts to accompanies meals in the larger Sport model.
@@123Homefree So did you end up keeping it or sending it back? To boil water, do you just pour water into the glass tube with no tray? Does the glass have an interior coating?

I”d be curious to see how well this one does in terms of baking or browning meat…. I have an original GoSun Sport, and a new Sport-E but I haven’t used the Sport-E, but the Sport has been really good for browning sausages and baking brownies and cakes.
My guess is it will be fairly poor for this, but maybe best used as a way to warm and do simpler cooking.

I agree that would be longer lasting but not as efficient upfront but hinestly its almost too efficient with new reflector
On the side of the GO ...there's a "GoPro" mount, so you can mount it as if it were a GoPro. Tripod, mount, whatever.

Well, to be honest Aaron, you live an insanely active lifestyle, not many humans can actually compare lol. I watched your previous review of the other gosun, but I don’t think you should knock yourself or portions, I mean, you’re an actual Sheppard man, you need those high caloric meals
If you’re happy with the power consumption though, then I’m happy it fits your needs, although I think there’s a time and place for you to be able to use both gosuns lol, and tbh, I appreciated just how critical you were at truly reviewing that other gosun , let it rip on this one!! Lol
fabric is bad, should have just made the case out of carbon fiber or plastic with a fabric hinge only. Good catch. Also, agree..increase the mirror sizes. Lastly, I'd like to see a silicon stopper, so when heating liquids, you don't have to insert the tray
The tray end is a removable silicon cap that fits on top the tube when its in vertical orientation for boiling water

I am interested in living the way you do, but id like to have a cow and bull to live with. They only farm animals that i have experience with are chickens. I have seen you mentor people in older videos. Do you still do that? Or do you have any recommendations on how to start?
Yes its possible to do with cow and bull but even mini would tearup peoples yards so quick you wouldnt be welcomed as many places and for as long plus would be more property dependent for water because you cant haul enough water to stay out with cows in summer so youd be more dependent on a closer network of properties while simultaneously having more difficulties getting places to agree worktrading to stay and tear up their land. My property friend here didnt want me having my first donkey because it was starting to to tear up the yard just with it 700ish lb weight
@123Homefree I am open to other animals. My thoughts were that I would prefer to use federal lands to live. What are your thoughts on surviving on federal lands? I am currently living in a tent and moving from campground to campground. But it isn't cheap. I see what is coming and choose not to be a part of the beast system.
For water boiling, are you familiar with the Kelley kettle?
Yes but we cant have fires here in PNW in summer so this seems like best way to just heat water with especially ifni increase the reflectors with mirror
Why do you throw away the egg-white?
I dont like them as much as the yolks and the chickens eat the whites

Cleaning the inside of caked milk does not sound fun but maybe it wouodnt stick if i didnt leave it in too long? Good idea coupd be used as an automatic milk steamer in the summer for a mobile baarista.
@@123HomefreeI know you'll figure it out. I just know coffee with unsteamed milk or half-and-half. I never wash my insulated sippy cup. I just rinse it with hot water. If I don't use it and forget about and the milk got rotten solid, I just put hot water in it and let it soak.

Get a fresno lens and just don't bring it to the focal pointyou get fresno lens from old t vs and stuffand build a frame around it , and that'll give you a much much much much more heat going into your food
Fresnel lenses aren't good for cooking, mainly because the heat comes from above and not from below. Doesn't mean you can't cook with them at all, I've done that, but heating a pan or pot is much less effective and takes more time compared to other solar cookers. And they're large.
You are going to melt the case if mirrors are bigger then the tube.
