I've been using my Fusion to cook for myself and my Grandmother, then myself and my husband for like 2 years now. The electric backup really is amazing
You should see if gosun will sponsor you (I guess they have by sending you the new electric tube). If they gave you a link they could track buyers from your channel. I have only seen this product on your channel… in the process of talking my husband into buying one for our off-grid cabin. Would be useful to have the electric version in the low-sun months
It would be interesting to see whether you could keep 2-3 laying hens in a cage as you move and then let them forage while you're parked. Or clipped ducks. People have trained them to come back to their cages.
I told you this before I have gosun sport cooker, and I very easily speed up cooking by taking two large pieces of cardboard, putting myler on it with aluminum tape, and attaching these two panels with paper clips to the cooker. I have to use short lumber and a big bucket to securely hold it once clipped, and it's pretty stable. Cooking is more than twice faster.
Enjoying your videos from Canada. Really want to go down a path like yours, but the cold would be an interesting hurdle. What are your thoughts on rabbit breeding efficiency for living free?
If you don't want to go the truck and camper route and continue paying property tax, and you're stuck in an area that doesn't allow dairy livestock, then meat rabbits, laying hens, coturnix quail and honey bees are doable on a small lot. You could also raise meal worms and black soldier fly for the birds.
Rabbits wouldnt benefit as much from incorporating into a mobile wagon cause they can do so well with such little land whereas dairy animals need more supplement than meat animals plus they also produce males for meat
My idea was something along the lines of a rabbit system for meat, pelts, and fertilizer with a fodder growing system for feed. The cold and snow would be a hurdle. I have been looking at maybe having a wall-tent for winter months to put up around my wagon.
Its funny because I was just looking at one a few hours before you posted this video the other day and I was kinda wondering if you would review it before I buy it lol.
Maybe a small tent bag… Strapped to something inside the wagon or around it… Looks sweet… Packages do have a tendency to bring out the child within us… lol
this might be a crazy idea, but maybe there's a way you could install some kind of small electricity generating windmill type thing on your wagon? that way you could charge the batteries at night, as other than the sun the wind does not stop blowing at night....
Yeah they make a wind/waterlily product that can be used as a water turbine too, id like one maybe ill try and add one to my wishlist www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/233IXZJIDEX8N
If you want to refurb your reflector on your GoSun, just get some adhesive spray and put a layer of potato chip bags. The aluminized Mylar will probably be more reflective than the factory GoSun wings are and when it gets dull, just reapply more over top.
Interesting, but I don't think gosun would work on my sailboat. So I have a Ni-Fe battery bank 8000Ah, 600w solar and 2x600w windmill's and an induction stove with a small oven. For morning coffee making I have a Biolite campigstove that runs on twigs and pinecones, after the coffee is made I use it to charge my phone with fire. I rake twigs into potato sacks and dry them on deck under the solar panels. 2 sacks lasts me 6 month. I'm free man, only God control's me.
I had the fusion’s electric tray and it broke on me after a few uses. The heating elements black and burnt out Hopefully they’ve…improved? Good luck with yours
I wondered the same thing briefly, if itd be practical to position the gosun vertically with water in it and then submerge the etray down in if it could boil but i couldnt imagine me wanting to actually do that because it would alwaysbhave residual food inside to taint the water fir any tea use etc but now that ice completely let go of this being practical for cooking in a living daytoday way not jjst weekend camping then maybe ill try it cause as of roght now just having it for solar boiling water isnt enough of a need to haul it around i have solar electric water boiling device already

Love those chickens at the background! 🐥🐔
Looks like a necessary idea because solar is not the greatest way to cook, but it's free when the sun shines.

Tried that already 3-4 years back check out the videos on my yt channel

nice, I need to get one of these
Good review. Just ordered it for my GoSun ovens.
I'd put that tray on 2 small C-shaped stands to make it more stable when eating
Fill the screw heads with JB weld. Having some laying around for repairs (it’s a metal filled epoxy) is super helpful when you need it.
It's poison.
Ewww chemicals
i would not have known about these things if it wasn't for you. cheers

Smear gluten glue on after shtf lol
heck milk is a good enough glue but the chip bags are SUS
cool
Could you improvise make your own reflector tube to replace the one that's deteriorated curious what do you think
It sounds like your gosun reflector just needs to be polished, then it should shine like new again. Take care ✌️
hope you got my Venmo dono ! Glad to see another upload, love the channel
Thank ewe are you Arcoma?!
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control, and I think I like it

Why doesn't work on a boat?
@@straykitten4998
The rolling and pitching by the waves, hard to focus the sun on the food.
Gosun actually sells a boat railing clamp for their cookers
solar panel is a must with this 24/7 electric cooking daytime is no-electric

I need a pocketknife so bad ill add one to my amazon wishlist
Support comment 😊
nice you should buy your own land where you can stay
No thanks dont got that kinda money and wouldnt use it for that even if i did
you do realise that would defeat the thing he is actually trying to do right? as he is all about being nomadic...
The review of the GoSun Brew was so so bad... I wonder if this would be good enough to boil water with 12v instead of using the Brew?
