Cannot wait to get this kit! I think the two decal options are more interesting than last year's RAF versions.

Sooo, 2 weeks for all the stencils? LoL
It was the airbrakes that caught my attention as a youngster. Kewl looking kit and hopefully it builds well for you.
Like how the 48th scale gives a decent balance between 35ths details and the 72nd size for shelf space. That or the neighborhood kids get fresh toys every couple of weeks to keep the wife happy enough to make shirts 😜 Sleep then coffee ☕ Cheers when the boss decides to wake me 👍

Lots of stencils - not quite the madness of the F-4 but still pretty bonkers. I'm growing to really like 1/48th, but 1/72 has its benefits too. Like shelf space. And cost. Happy coffee...

    Great informative video. Thanks.
Nice looking model but not for me I love the F86 and although I'm British I will only build a US F86 (big fan of Korean war aircraft). I've been looking for a good priced non Italeri ( I don't like Italeri sick of removing all the flash) F86 with US decals in 1/48 since I came back to modelling at the end of last year. I refuse to pay for after market decals when it's a US aircraft and there should be at least one US option in the kit. If Airfix can make a Spitfire with American marking (yuk, to both Spitfire and American markings on a Spitfire) they can make one set of decals for an F86. So yet again great informative video but I won't be buying it.

Given the amount of bits that can obviously be changed on the kit, many panels for example are supplied that have shapes that have nothing to do with build and everything to do with having a different version later, I have no doubt that this will be available in other variants before too long. This would make good sense - to re-use the investment in the base model for three or four editions of variations. Who knows, your ideal F-86 may be in a CAD file at Airfix already....!
