- Are you in need of some extra power for the already powerful FX Dynamic block the we have the FX Slug Kit for you !
In this video we will be showing you a step by step guide to install the FX Slug power Kit for the Dynamic range , this so you can install it yourself or decide to have it done by a trained technician .
Great video. I bet with practice it can be done pretty quickly! Thanks for sharing
Yes , when you know the steps it can be done pretty quickly. There is a easier way to remove the probe but that I will show in a future video . But since the hammer has to be changed for the kit this is the proper way to do it
Very well done sir!
Thanks 👊
Your how to videos are the best on TH-cam. You understand camera angles and distance better than most. Some of the modification videos I’ve seen are like watching someone do surgery from across the room.
Nice ! Thx for the support 👊
@@FXAirgunsHello, what is the screw number that hides the fx panthera schematic pellet probe?
Thx very much for this great video. My question: can one upgrade the Wildcat III standard with the 20369? Are you planning to produce a video, if so?
Thanks , you can indeed use the 20369 to upgrade the Wildcat mkiii . As of you no video for that in the planning , I will discuss this internally 😉
hey did you do a video on the Panthera Huma regulator install? I thought you did, but I can't find it? thks
On my channel there are some Huma videos , but this is the FX Airguns channel 😉
@@FXAirguns ok sorry
Geat video. What % gains can be expected by using the power kit?
I’m sending 59g .30 slugs 1048 fps using the 8mm hammer.
I couldn't find it in the video, but did you test for a velocity increase over the probe in your .22- 700? thks
No I haven’t done a video like that is this was just a how to install video .
Thanks a lot for this, one of the best fx videos ive seen so far, easy to see, educating about the design and internals of the dynamic block series riffles and also well filmed, greetings from FX Country 👌🏆🔫👍🇸🇪
Thank all lot ! We appreciate it 👊
To do it myself is the only way I will learn how to service my own airgun! 😢
If you are somewhat handy and you follow the guide closely I am sure your able to do it
Oh, don't worry, you will get plenty of practice...
Its weird... FX even recommends to NOT use the tungsten hammer, and instead just use the 8mm steel hammer. I just upgraded that, and im pushing 68 gr slugs at 956, with reg at 155 and micro at 3.5... if i maxed everything out, it will do 1000+ easy which is not needed
Utah air guns just told me the same thing and also to use the 8mm hammer that comes out the Maverick .30
Thanks Very well done So much better than anyone else.
Would u ever come to RMAC in Utah
Love to meet you.
Yes 👍 I will be there this year aswel 🤙
Many thanks for your excellent videos, very clear, well filmed, without which I wouldn't dare work on my Panthera...
Thanks 👊 that nice to hear , glad the video can be of help .
Can I buy a FX panthera with these parts already installed from the factory? The 600mm is slugs orientated anyway right? Makes sense to have this by default.
I totally agree 👍
The FX Panthera 600mm is slug oriented indeed and will deliver enough power to shoot 34gr 22cal slugs . The main reason for the slug power kit is when you want even more power to get the 40gr up to speed but this requires higher regulator pressure and that is not for the average person, therefore it doesn’t come as standard but as a upgrade part . If it would come as standard and people want to shoot lighter slugs the valve gets overpowered with the heavy hammer of the slug kit and won’t perform well.
well said!!!!!@@FXAirguns
I never heard of using grease on the hammer housing. They come with no lube from the factory. Where are you getting this information. Lubing the hammer will have inconsistent results with temperature changes etc. And the parts you should have lubbed, you didn't....
Hi , thanks for replying. You are indeed correct that the rifles come from factory without grease/lube on the hammer housing. Reason being that over time when using the rifle in environments with dirt and dust it will sticks to the lube and therefore the hammer potentially causing inconsistencies. But when the rifle is maintained well a light coating of lube/grease can benefit a smoother cocking cycle .
@@FXAirguns
Pellet probe carrier and its linkage should be lubed, not the hammer assembly. You did the exact opposite. Good luck with that...
Ok now the real question is where to buy I’ve already looked at the top airgun dealers websites and it’s not listed anywhere I’m assuming it will be soon?
It is available as of yet , but some dealers don’t list it on the websites . Give your favorite one a call with the part number and the should be able to help you out !
Does the pin probe seat the slug deeper then the pellet probe? Be nice if there was a way to adjust the seating depth. thks
Just a touch but the airflow is a lot better with the pin probe
@@FXAirguns excellent thanks. I like your videos.
Will this fit the new DRS?
Yes 👍
Your videos are always excellent, thankyou 👍
Thx ! I appreciate that 👊
Will this void the warranty yes or no???
If you do it yourself yes , if it’s done by a FX retailer no .
@@FXAirguns Maybe alittle disclaimer at the start of these videos would be appropriate. That said tnx for the video very helpfull. (For those of us who don’t mind voiding the warranty)
Another great video and very instructive! Thanks
Thanks
Grest video, with this exact upgrade what's the fastest the 700mm can shoot the 22 cal 40gr slug?
Depending where you are living ( elevation/weather etc ) between 1020-1040 fps
Can you buy this set somewhere in Poland? Regards 🙂
Incorsa is our retailer in Poland , they can help you out .
Граната у сонной артерии, ну нафиг, опасная винтовка.
Why can you install the power kit before you sale it/?😊
Because it’s not for everyone, only if you want shoot heavy slugs and push the regulator above 150bar
Talk I'm trying to figure out how I would obtain one of your 30 caliber heavy slug liners in 889 mm any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Great job 👏🏻
Thx 🙏
I knew it!!!! 😂😂😂
Where can you buy this kit from
You can order it at any of our dealers around the world with the part number supplied in the video
hi fx airguns..
I hope you guys create airguns with bottom magazines...
I see that this FX Panthera is made with a lower magazine, it looks very good like a firearm...
Thnks 🙏
any idea when the barrel kits are coming ??or caliber change kits??
Video with that info coming soon 😉
yes !!!! finally the entire reason I got the gun!!!@@FXAirguns
Exelente video 👍👌👏 saludos y buen 2024🇦🇷
Thanks 👊 happy 24 to you aswel!
Too bad they seem to have given up on the dreamline
We haven't given up on it but innovation continues
They had given up on quality control that's for sure.
Utah air guns told me it's not recommended to use the tungsten hammer but instead use the 8mm hammer the same that comes out the maverick .30 what are your thoughts and would love to see a tunning video with the tungsten hammer
That is partially true but only for the very first models that came of the production line . The recent models have a much beefier valve assembly to handle the tungsten hammer . But you still need to make sure you only use it at high regulator pressures and have the balance between hammerspring tension / reg pressure correct
Slug power kit for a slug gun...
The dynamic platform can shoot just about anything from very light slugs to heavier slugs , so from factory we need to put something inside to cover the middle ground and most of the shooters . The kit contains a tungsten hammer weight to be able and open a valve at higher regulator pressures and so only to be used at 150 bar and above . If you use this at lower pressures with to much load it’s not good for the gun or the valve and the rifle will be inconsistent
@FXAirguns
Okay, what comes with the .30 cals then... I'm sure they operate over 150bar. Also, you guys need to get the quality control taken care of for the Panthera and Dynamic. There is something really wrong there @ FX.
You are an artist! Great vid and explanation
Great instruction mate 👍👍👍
Question: Do I have to remove trigger, quick tune system if I just want to switch the probe?
Watched the Costom video and found the answer 😉
No if you just want to change the probe you can also remove or change it out true the front . But then you need to slide it out together with the complete barrel .👍
@@FXAirguns Thanks 🙂🙂
Tell us about the new FX Throne and Empire models coming out? Will the new models be replacing the Impact, King, Dynamic models? Any date on when they will be available?
any place I can get a good read on this ?? a link or something
If there is one thing I've learned from modifying my FX guns to shoot slugs, it's that the gun will be less accurate and it's almost impossible to get stable results. I've also seen this happen with other shooters at my local range. In my view it's very expensive, causes A LOT of worries, and the only ones benefitting are the people that make money on selling and marketing the upgrades. If you want more power and range, and tuning guns is not part of your daytime job (Like M. Dubber for instance), go for a bigger caliber like a .30. Don't waste your time on slugs and don't believe what people on the internet try to make you believe.
Funny, they keep making upgrades but refuse to send out a quality gun that doesn't have issues. Especially the Panthera and Dynamic.
