Splendid presentation !!! Excellent information! Thank you so very much for taking the time document your research. I'd love to just sit down with you and listen to ALL of your vacuum experiences and rules of thumb, it sounds like you've had quite a few.
In case you weren't aware, the audio on this video is very difficult to listen to on headphones; I had to put my audio output on the mono setting which made it far easier to listen to. OK, my complaint over, great video otherwise and very interesting subject.
I was told assemble conflat finger tight, put it on a roughing pump, finger tight again then crank till vacuum is where you want it, seen flanges done 4-5 times
Thanks, Lots of really good tips there . Hmm! Dunway not shipping to Australia. Bolts- I believe they are silver plated. But are they Stainless steel or carbon ? We can get stainless at the hardware at $5 AU a bolt JB weld -$15Au here VG gaskets - strangely the low oxygen copper 2.75 we can get here and are cheaper than the VG 2.75 set which doesn't ship anyway Looking forward to the other vids. By the way in one of the previous vids you did a run with a fore pump only and converted the Ludlum CPS to N/S . Its always confused mre how to calculate that . Im thinking its somehow related to possibly chamber size , voltage , grid or current ( possibly other constraints) do you have any advise or references etc. on that topic , much appreciated .

Hello. This was a super useful video! Are you still planning on releasing more videos in the series? I would love to learn more.
