Roger. Thanks so much. Absolutely the BEST explanation of shooting handicap I have heard so far. IhVe been shooting at the 16 and shot three 25’s and a ton of 24’s and need to really start working on my handicap cap. Only been shooting Trap for about 11 months but really working at it. Just bought a Browning Citori CXT and that’s what finally got me my 25’s. Thanks again for the information
Randall... one can go on and on about this topic. The further back you go the more accurate you have to be in terms of timing, gun speed and lead. The two easiest things to change, which are a help, from that far back,is a 32gram cartridge and high velocity cartridge.the furthest back I have shot is 21 metres and that was hard enough. Thank you for watching. Much appreciated. Stay well and Happy shooting.!!!
Im new to this. Using a beretta silv pidgeon dtl special gun. Currently use 3/4. In top bbl. Choke has 2 notches in it, and bottom bbl choke has 3 notches for first shot. Just using 7.5s. Would it be of benefit to use choke 4 notches first shot with 8 shot. I shoot c grade from 15m. Presently using the winny 1350 loads 7.5, but you carnt get them now, got any shell preferences?? Thanks for the great info on your videos

Great to hear! and thank you !!!
Thanks you for clarifying the handicap for me, have a wonderful day.
Glad it was helpful...and thanks.
Thanks Roger, this was very clear and concise and of course analytical. I really like the explanation of 7 1/2 vs number 8.
Great info about trap angles. Do you adjust your POI when shooting from 27 yards?

Craig...4 notches is too open...at the moment youve got mod and improved modified and that is good...stay well and happy shooting
So would I benefit from number 8. As first shot then 7.5, for top bbl, being the tighter choke?
What is the diameter of balls 7.5, 8? By what standard?
Georgi...sorry for the late reply...71/2 is .o95 inches or 2.41mm 8 shot is .09 inches or 2.29 mm...not a lot of difference...stay well!
Thanks!
