The 3 qt is perfect for me as a single guy, I had a 6 qt for a few years and sometimes wasted leftovers or it just lasted too long. Fast, easy and quick prep for the next totally different tasty meal. 😁😎
I have been cooking for 50 yrs...in the deep south. I am getting the Mini Instant Pot and the XXL Phillips Air Fryer because I do not have a stove right now. I love your style..it i a far cry from my home economics teacher in the 70s ! Very infomative..I think I have this down now ! You are a natural teacher..what a gift to us all.
We come here for your imagination, your experience and your smarts. Not all of us are I.P. experts, but after watching you, you build up our confidence. *THANK YOU NILI* Love your hacks, tricks and camera work. Again, thank you for inviting us into your kitchen.
Thanks for the video ... while I’m probably not IP’s Target Market, I plan on using my 3 quart IP in an Over The Road Trucking environment... must be small, convenient, minimal clean up... glad to see there are more accessories for the small IP... looking to add a few to my Truck!!! Again, Thanks!!!
OsakaRose ... great question... well, Drivers rarely stay in motels/hotels, unless their Truck is being worked on... and many Trucks with Sleepers on them also have inverters which takes the 12v DC Power (the Plug you mentioned) and inverts it into 120v AC power that you can then plug into like any plug in your house. So we have Microwaves, TVs, and now Instant Pots that we can plug in and use just like at home. Again, great question.
This is so great Nili! 💟💟💟 seeing the 3 qt mini get an accessory spotlight. Especially grateful to know the nesting pots fit. Prime Day here we come, right? I was like you & didn't think all would fit & I actually squealed when I saw that. Your link on my Prime list for those, yay!
Nili - I jumped on the amazon deal for the 6 qt instant pot duo 7 in 1 for $69.99 that you told us about and I tried it last night. I was so happy and excited to get it. Thank you so much for letting us know! It has gone up to $89.99 again. I’m glad I was able to take advantage of the sale. Now to get some accessories. 😁 Thank you for this great video to help me to decide. 😊👍
I already had stainless pet bowls that fit inside the IP Mini. My dogs kinda looked at me funny but were hoping it was theirs. Great pans unless you mind a paw print design in your cakes & cornbread! LOL
What a great review of this pot. Thank You, you made me want to go buy one, or order one from Amazon. A great review that shows the best and the better of these pots and how easy they are ut use and cook in.
Absolutely amazing... I thought I had everything....lol...I bought three items Prime... Thank you so so much Nili-you're just the best...I learn sooo much on so many levels... whatever you bring our way...I'm just enjoying & I never watch just once..knowing I can come back with every video... LOVE it. The BEST! Hugs~
4 yrs ago I loved this....it's July 17, 2022 & I watched all over again...bought tall trivet with two sets of molds for 2nd time(mine are packed for move from NY to MN & I won't be moving for many months so am purchasing yet again !) ...love that I'll have the higher leg trivet...it's 1.9 inches...and am going to make mini meatloaf in molds...will be buying in weeks to come the wide 8 oz Mason Jars....thank you again....videos are timeless! :)
What an OUTSTANDING video‼️ 💯Bravo review, filled with great cooking option suggestions 🙏👏🙌👍🤗. Now then, Here's to great eating of all that wonderful goodness -- ENJOY‼️
I just found this video and am so happy with the information (I just got a 3qt mini) that I subscribed to your channel! I'll also be purchasing some of the items from your link list. Thank you!
This is a great review. I am thinking about getting the 3qt model and these accessories are good to know items. Thanks for posting and sharing. Cheers!!!!! :)
Great info! I travel and needed a healthier way to cook since I am changing to a Keto type diet. My old method used a 12 volt cooker and I was putting my food in toxic aluminum pans.
Thank you so much for this great info! I’m planning for the 16th and hoping for the 3 qt to be on special. I will definitely refer back to this video for your links to all of these accessories!
After watching this in Sept 9th (2018) I ordered the steam basket and handled trivet off Amazon and I think it was on your page, I hope so anyway👍🏻I got them delivered today 👏👏👏👏
It is the smallest of the Instant Pot brand, but Cosori has a 2 quart one which is at least as great as the IP (comes with more accessories included, is even easier to use etc). For my use, it is a little small though, so when I now (FINALLY!) found a 220-240V version of the IP Mini, I just bought it! Soooooo happy! The little one will get a new home... ☺️
Nili, checking I have your links bookmarked one last time for Prime Day & forgot to share this Instant Pot mini accessory or any size pressure cooker. Temp rated -40°F - 446°F, ½ cup capacity per cube. Instant Pot, oven, freezer, microwave. Two stack in 3 qt, (4 cups total) 1 will fit in Cosori 2 qt. I don't know how many will fit in 5 qt and above. Many uses. I cook rice in it, freeze, move to zip lock freezer, back to tray to reheat-defrost in Instant Pot for ½ cup servings. Same for chicken stock, cake & brownie batters, mini cheesecakes, ice tea ice cubes, endless possibilities. 💟💟💟 these & use them constantly. Kelsey Adele King Cube Ice Tray with Lid - Premium Silicone Mold for 2" Large Cubes, Best For Whiskey Bourbon Scotch Lovers; Good For Baby Food Freezer Storage, Freezing Instant Pot Broth - 1/2 Cup, Perfect Square, Stackable, No Spill, Set of 2 Trays
In Asia they have these gadgets that are designed to lift hot plates of food that have been steaming inside rice cookers. I wonder if Amazon have them too? They’re super cheap in Hong Kong as I recall.
I just ordered this today. Can also be used for meatloaf per a different presenter’s TH-cam presentation. Flower Cake Bundtlette Pan For Use With 3,5,6 AND 8 Qt. Pressure Cooker And Oven baking - I don’t know how to do a link to Amazon so you’ll have to copy & paste into the search area.
You now have me thinking outside of the box for mini IP cookware. Ya know, most small minimal camp cooking sets are 6" or smaller and most have no handles (perfect) dual uses for camping and at home. The STANLEY brand or ALPINE brand come to mind as does the OZARK TRAIL brands from Wally world. Most are cooking grade stainless steel too!👍
Laugh nili....thought you were filming from my kitchen their !..I have all the same acessiories, now I need a cupboard to store the acessiories to store the instant pots !!😂😂if you get the jist? Brilliant vlog ,great explanation of what you can buy ,use ect.well done 👍👌💓
*I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus **MyBest.Kitchen** and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.*
Great video as usual, Thanks. I'm trying to figure out if the accessories I have for my Instant Pot 6qt would fit the Mini, could you tell us the inner height and width of the mini's inner pot?
Thanks for posting your 3qt mini accessories video. During your opening segment, there is a stainless steel bowl (dull in color) sitting to the left of the trivet with handles. I don’t see your Amazon link for the single stainless steel bowl in among your other links for this video. I’ve been searching for a flat bottom stainless bowl to use with cold or frozen foods since I’m worried about glass or Pyrex bowls experiencing thermal shock or stress. Thank You So Much.
That bowl was actually a really old one that we got from my husband's grandparents estate! lol. It was just an example of the type of ss bowls that people might have around the kitchen already. As far as something you could purchase on amazon, I recommend the stackable ss insert pans. They have flat bottoms and you can use them individually like you would a bowl but you also have the option of stacking them and cooking 2 things at a time. :)
How do I make yellow rice in this cooker... I tried and it came out mush! 10 oz package... how much water? How much time? And on the rice setting or on the pressure cook setting?
IP makes both a stand alone SS extra pot and a cheaper non stick version... and a lid for them too... if you want to toss left overs in the fridge or combine early.
I just picked up a 3 qt Instant Pot Duo Plus Mini 3-quart, 9-in-1 Pressure Cooker at an Amazon Treasure Truck event today! $67.99 + tax, was that a good price????
Just purchased a 3 qt cooker. Enjoyed your video, I plan to use your recommendations. Would please recommend a 3qt mini cook book so i don't waste money on inadequate books not for this size cooker. THANK YOU
I'm actually in the process of writing a cookbook specifically for the 3qt IP. It'll be available where ever books are sold in the summer! :) Until then, have you seen my video on adjusting recipes for the 3qt? th-cam.com/video/3Wy2uZh9-Ao/w-d-xo.html
I am a single mom and do all of our cooking. I like to do batch cooking because we don't eat out and it makes the week easier. I don't have a mini yet but I like the idea of having my meal go in one and rice in the other. I also make my own (soy) yogurt which uses my instant pot for 14 hours and I like the thought of being able to have my yogurt going and still be able to use an ip for dinner.
Did you say you going to show how you used these Stainless Steel Food Storage Containers or did I miss something with the clips i not sure how that works
Yes, I imagine they would... Except for anything glass. I wouldn't use glass in my air fryer. Also different fryers have different shape cooking baskets so I'd check the measurements before ordering to make certain they fit 🙂
@@imoma56 Yeah, I don't think most glass bakeware is approved for use under a broiler and I'd consider an air fryer similar enough to a broiler to play it safe. That's just my personal opinion though. 🙂
Would you recommend buying a 3qt for a single person? I just want to cook rice and veggies at the same time using the PIP method or eventually cook dry beans (about 1 pound at time)! Thank you :)
I am wondering why did you put a link for the 6 quart instant pot when this video is about the 3 quarts? I do however love the suggestions since I can't obtain some of the items for the 3 quarts here in Sweden since many sellers do not deliver to Sweden. :(. Therefore, I truly appreciate all the amazing suggestions
TY for sharing your awesome videos of the Instant Pot you have the 3 qt and 6 qt! My SN friend has all 3 sizes of Instant Pot. She has 3 qt, 6 qt, and 9 qt. She loves all of her Instant pots she has. Do you have 9 qt in your collection or no?
You got the collection just like my SN friend. I'm planning on getting one of those soon because I was feeling leary due to the Walmart exclusive cookers that was on the news. I said to myself I'll wait until the time is right for me to prepare to own one of these. Now I feel that I'm ready to own one and I'm looking at the deals in Amazon and eBay now. I saved them into my Wishlist.
I have the Cosori 2 qt. I just started cooking dinner, in my Mini Instant Pot, of course😀 Have many accessories & will be happy to share, if that is ok Nilli? It may be later this evening or tomorrow, after I feed me, the kitty & pup, get my mini cleaned & settled in for the night🌙 & all that.
Thanks Nili! Iris, the Cosori was my first, at the time the only mini available. I have added 2 Instant Pot 3 qt. Minis & since they came out, many more accessories now available. Challenging for the 2 qt. so hope this helps. I feel your pain 😂 Tip: place your pot on a piece of paper, bottom side down. Trace around it with a pencil to draw a circle. Then turn pot on it's side, trace a separate straight line from top underneath lip to bottom for height. Fold, put in your purse when shopping to use as a guide for what will fit. Your pot is about 6-¼" inside diameter x 4-¼" high. Using Nili's video as a guide: Pyrex baking dishes - both sizes fit Mason jars - both sizes fit Pyrex custard cups fit Silicone cupcake molds fit Stainless bowl - pay attention to the lip when measuring for your pot. Measure from outside lip to outside lip diameter. I use Pyrex, but this stainless one should fit: Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl - .75qt - Flat Bottom Non Slip Base, Retains Temperature, Dishwasher Safe - By Bovado USA. A commenter says the 1 qt fits the Instant Pot 3 qt. so the .75 qt. should fit the 2qt. Please click link to Nili's Amazon store, then search for this mixing bowl. If you decide to buy it or something similar, I THINK Nili gets credit if you do it this way. Flower steamer fits I have a different one to share only because it comes with a really handy tool: a long hooked rod, great for fishing out the steamer & removing other containers when hot. Ex: I cut a sling out of a silicone baking mat & punched holes along the edges. Hook the tool through the holes on the sling to remove the container when finished cooking. (You can also use the silicone sling in an air fryer, if you have one) This seller runs lightening deals quite often, so watch for those. (No affiliation, just love mine) Same as for stainless bowl, please go to Nili's store, then search for steamer so she gets credit. Stainless Steel Mixing Bowl - .75qt - Flat Bottom Non Slip Base, Retains Temperature, Dishwasher Safe - By Bovado USA. Trivet with handle DOES NOT FIT. The trivet itself fits, but the handles are too tall to seal the lid, boo!, right? The handles do fold flat underneath the trivet, so you can use it that way. You just won't be able to use the handles. Get as shallow or short a trivet as you can find to be able to stack containers. Any that fit will do, 2 of them better - one on bottom of pot, then your first container, then 2nd trivet on top of container to stack a 2nd container. I have this one: Mrs. Anderson's Baking 43193 Mrs. Anderson’s Baking Professional Round Baking and Cooling Rack, 6-Inches. Same go to Nili's store first to search. Egg trivet - I don't have the egg trivet, but from Nili's link & the dimensions, the trivet SHOULD fit based on Mrs. Anderson's trivet 6" diameter. One four-egg bites mold DOES FIT snuggly in Cosori without squishing the shape on a shallow trivet like the Mrs. Anderson's one. Mini Silicone egg bites mold - The mold diameter is 6.3", your pot is 6.25". The 4-egg mold is 5-¼" with a snug fit, so I would say this WILL NOT FIT in Cosori Nesting stainless food containers - the small or medium DOES FIT. The large WILL NOT FIT. Stainless Steel Steamer Basket with Silicone Covered Handle DOES NOT FIT. I use the Hatrigo brand for my 3 qt & it doesn't fit the Cosori. I haven't been able to find one that does, but stopped looking as I now use my Instant Pot with this basket. Chiboz Stackable Insert Pans + Steamer Pan (3qt size) DOES NOT FIT. I use the similar Ekovanna brand for my 3 qt. & it does not fit in the Cosori. I haven't found any small enough for the Cosori. 6 inch Fat Daddio Cheesecake Pan DOES NOT FIT. This one does, same thing, go to Nili's store, then search for this - Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum Round Cheesecake Pan with Removable Bottom, 5 Inch x 3 Inch That covers everything Nili showed. Here's some "lagniappe" - (a little something extra😀) for other items that fit the Cosori. Ditto to Nili's store to search. Small Sauce Cups 1.5-Ounce, Commercial Grade Stainless Steel Dipping Sauce Cups, Individual Condiment Sauce Cups / Ramekins by Tezzorio. These can be used as trivets to stack containers & then for condiments. Walmart, restaurant supply, or dollar store cheapest. 3-⅞" x 2-⅝" dark metal loaf pan (Walmart, Michael's Crafts, Tanger Outlet Mall's kitchen store). Four of these will fit stacked. I haven't been able to find these on Amazon for some reason. Wilton 4-Inch Mini Springform Pans Set, 3-Piece for Mini Cheesecakes, Pizzas and Quiches Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum Round Cake Pan, 5 Inches by 2 Inches Wilton 2105-1829 Mini Round Pans, 4 by 1.25-Inch, Set of 3 Norpro 258 Porcelain 3-Ounce Ramekins, Set of 6 MT Products 4 1/4" Disposable Aluminum Foil Tart/Pie Pan 7/8" Deep - (50 Pieces) Go to a dollar store for these, 2 stacked will fit using double trivets Wilton 2109-6835 Angel Food Cake Pan Set, 2-Piece, Multipack of 2 Baking, Mini 2-Pack, Assorted Bumble Bee, White Crabmeat, 6 oz Walmart - weird, I know! Crabmeat itself, bleck, but save the cans, perfect size to poach eggs for egg mcmuffins. Spray with Pam before adding egg. Also tuna fish cans, tomato sauce cans, etc, all stackable, remove the paper labeling, use again & again. Hamilton Beach 6 Silicone Jumbo Baking Cups 08815 These are way overpriced on Amazon. The only place I've found is kitchen store at Tanger Outlet Mall for half the price. ¾ cup capacity, great for pressure cooking, baking, freezing. Especially great to cook, freeze, take out of silicone cup to ziplock freezer bag. The single serving frozen disc fits perfectly in a 7 oz. stackable ramekin or back into the silicone cup, to pressure cooker to defrost/reheat!
Oh my goodness! So much good information! Thank you so much for typing all that out. I will certainly refer people to this when I get questions about the 2qt Cosori! 🤩🤩🤩
@@IndigoNili I'm not sure my comment made it, here it is again: There are two things marked as "currently unavailable: ekovana 3qt Mini Stackable Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker Steamer Insert Pans with sling handle - compatible with Instant Pot Accessories 3 quart - two interchangeable lidswww.amazon.com/dp/B07771LJKZ?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d and Chiboz Cookware 3 Qt Mini Stackable Steamer Insert Pans with Sling Handle compatible with Instant Pot 3 Quart www.amazon.com/dp/B07BJGPNPR?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d. A question: Why do you recommend both a mesh basket steamer and a perforated stainless one: House Again Original Sturdy Steamer Basket for 3 or 5 Quart Pressure Cooker www.amazon.com/dp/B07BMXCHYG?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d and Top Rated Hatrigo Steamer Basket for Pressure Cooker Accessories 3qt www.amazon.com/dp/B0789D4TKZ?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d
Here's my store! www.amazon.com/shop/indigonili?ref=ac_inf_hm_vp Links mentioned are either in the iCard in the upper right corner of the video or in the description box below the video
Your link goes to the 6 and 8 qt set that says it doesnt fit the 3qt mini in the description and says that it is 7.4 inches wide but has the extra steamer basket. The mini per the Internet is only 7 inches wide. The same maker's 3qt basket set doesn't have the extra steamer basket. Can you confirm that the 6qt kit fits the 3qt mini? I see you insert it into the pot in your video but confusion persists on Amazon.
That link usually has a 3qt option that you can choose as well as the 6 and the 8qt. They must be out of stock of the 3qt size currently. Sorry for the confusion. Amazon links can be tricky since things are alway changing on their end! The Ekovana brand has a 3qt set that look good as well (I have their set in the 6qt size and it's been great) Here's the link to that one: amzn.to/2DViVJw
Corning was the maker of PYREX (1915) and the newer pyrex (much later). They are manufactured from different products and react to pressure differently. Corning recommend that you DO NOT US pyrex glassware in a pressure cooker; pyrex is made to withstand heat, not pressure! In a pressure cooker, the newer pyrex is exposed to enough pressure that it might explode. Further study of PYREX and pyrex can be had at Wikipedia.
Thanks for the stainless steel bowl idea...never thought of that and I’m sure I could used most of ours in our 8 qt. Ultra! Like the steamer basket. I got a nice strainer basket, but it can be a pain to wash, when food gets stuck in the mesh! So, are you gonna do a video on cooking a complete Thanksgiving dinner using all of you IPs at once?
I have an Elite 10 qt that my husband bought and I have no idea how to use. I don't like Pressure cookers but he does. He doesn't use it and it sits on a shelf. After seeing your videos I see that I could use it but never tried and have no idea how I can use it. All your recipes are for a small instant pot. We are only 2 people so a lot of the recipes are for a family. I have a lot of things that will fit in it after seeing this video but have no idea how I can use it and for what other than eggs or rice which is too large for either. This was very interesting. Thanks.
Oh wow. A 10qt would be pretty intimidating! I don't have experience with one that big. If it's not being used I'd recommend trying to sell it and purchasing a smaller one (6qt maybe)
I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. He loves it and he will be the one to get rid of it. I just thought perhaps I can use it like you use your small one. I don't see much recipes for a 10 qt at all except for Noreen did Spare Ribs in hers. Other than that no one else uses one.
Wow! You are a lucky lady. There is only two of us here to cook for as well. Every time you cook in it... Just double or triple one of her recipes and you will have extra dinners or deserts to put in the freezer, or take to a shut-in. I always cook in larger batches. It's wonderful to come in from a hard long day of work and have food that I pulled out of the freezer earlier, to just reheat and eat. A friend recently lost her husband. He did the cooking as she has poor leg health and couldn't stand long in the kitchen. She sure looks forward to a meal being brought her way now and then. Just play with it, that's how I learned to use mine.
what you don't know is I am 70 years old and had a stroke which has left me unable to do as I use to. My husband works a lot and I am alone a lot. Cooking isn't what it use to be and I don't get around much. Not to mention people don't come around like they use to. Thanks for the suggestion.
Selenia Rivas-Sharma ... we love to pressure cook in both a Traditional Unit or the Instant Pot... the IP is much easier... literally push a couple buttons and leave it... be careful when releasing the pressure as the stream has a bit of a bit of your hand is over the vent BUT just use something long from the kitchen (things, knife) and it won’t be a problem. ... to get used to it, start with just making hot water then make up several Hard Boiled (steamed) eggs... hubby can take them to work... then steam some veggies... all these will be easy to start with and just push a button.
Thank you soooooo much for sharing! So many people have the larger pots, i was begining to feel left behind!! I am a one woman house!😎👍🏽
The 3 qt is perfect for me as a single guy, I had a 6 qt for a few years and sometimes wasted leftovers or it just lasted too long. Fast, easy and quick prep for the next totally different tasty meal. 😁😎

I learn more from your product reviews that from the seller or manufacturer. Great review and very useful information. Thank you!
Great video, thanks for the info, got a instant pot gifted for Christmas and I just brought a 3 qt, love both. TFS
Your product reviews saved me so much time browsing for the smaller 3QT accessories! Thank you!!

You are amazing...absolutely love how you can explain the items..you should do the infomercials fir the instapot..thanks for all your information..💓💓💓
As usual, extremely helpful tips, tricks and ideas. Thank you
You can put any silicone baking container on top of a cookie sheet/baking sheet and use it in the oven.
This was an extremely helpful video. Gratitude!
I learned how to use an instant pot from your videos. I love my instant pot now. My kids are grown up so a mini would be nice for the two of us.
Great review. Answered several of my questions. Thanks!
The one trivet that was used, with the circles in it, can be used to make hard boiled eggs. The eggs will stay put.
Thank you for the Video! I am hoping to get an Instant Pot on Monday if the Prime day has the 8qt on sale!
Thanks so much. Just got one and you have given me both general principles and specifics. Helpful.
Thanks for all the IP mini accessories reviews. I added them to my list for 7/16 :)
Thank you so much for these instant pot mini videos. So helpful! Found more info from you than other web sites.
Very nice review. I love my mini, and use it most days of the week.
Your videos are so thorough and informative. I can’t thank you enough but thank you 😊
You're so welcome! 😊
Just got my Indigo Nili cookbook and my wife wants me to make the Cranberry Chicken!!!
Thank you! Quite helpful 👍
I found a perfect stainless steel bowl in the pet food aisle! Obviously, meant for a puppy🐕 but works perfectly in the IP!
I already had stainless pet bowls that fit inside the IP Mini. My dogs kinda looked at me funny but were hoping it was theirs. Great pans unless you mind a paw print design in your cakes & cornbread! LOL
Thanks for this tip.
Great review. I love watching your channel.
I find it amazing that Amazon has far more accessories for the instant pots than the Instant Pot website does.
What a great review of this pot. Thank You, you made me want to go buy one, or order one from Amazon. A great review that shows the best and the better of these pots and how easy they are ut use and cook in.
Thank you for teaching me.
Great selections! I just got a couple of items you mentioned. Can you please make a video of recipes using pot in pot insert in your Intant Pot mini?
What an OUTSTANDING video‼️ 💯Bravo review, filled with great cooking option suggestions 🙏👏🙌👍🤗. Now then, Here's to great eating of all that wonderful goodness -- ENJOY‼️

Thank you so much
just got my evokana for my 3qt. can't wait to cook.
Barkeepers Friend powder will clean that residue off the bottom of your pot.
After watching this in Sept 9th (2018) I ordered the steam basket and handled trivet off Amazon and I think it was on your page, I hope so anyway👍🏻I got them delivered today 👏👏👏👏
FANtastic information, Nili!!!! Loved it 🙂👍🏼
It is the smallest of the Instant Pot brand, but Cosori has a 2 quart one which is at least as great as the IP (comes with more accessories included, is even easier to use etc). For my use, it is a little small though, so when I now (FINALLY!) found a 220-240V version of the IP Mini, I just bought it! Soooooo happy! The little one will get a new home... ☺️
I need there to be a Prime Day deal on the Mini. I might have a meltdown if there isn't 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Just starting to experiment with the IP i bought on sale this winter! Lots of good extras.
Fantastic video - thanks
Hoping there is a deal on the IP mini on Prime Day. Thanks for all of these suggestions.
Thanks for the beautiful ideas
What a great informative video!!! Thank you!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great vidio, Thank you.
Thank u❤
Very informative. Thank You!
can the oui jars work??
I just ordered this today. Can also be used for meatloaf per a different presenter’s TH-cam presentation.
Flower Cake Bundtlette Pan For Use With 3,5,6 AND 8 Qt. Pressure Cooker And Oven baking - I don’t know how to do a link to Amazon so you’ll have to copy & paste into the search area.
Thank you for this video very informative. Im am curious though why you would not have an apphiliate link to the actual instapot mini.
Most are cooking grade stainless steel too!👍
That's a great idea!
Thank you for sharing Wao very nice video
I have 6 qts instant pot Duo
can nova 6qts inner fit in Duo ?
Waiting for your reply 😊
Yes, the inner pots on the Duo and the Nova are the same 😊
Laugh nili....thought you were filming from my kitchen their !..I have all the same acessiories, now I need a cupboard to store the acessiories to store the instant pots !!😂😂if you get the jist?
Brilliant vlog ,great explanation of what you can buy ,use ect.well done 👍👌💓
Where did you get the food storage nesting bowls?
*I love the instant pot so much! I have made quinoa, chicken, chili, asparagus **MyBest.Kitchen** and yogurt in it so far. The only thing that didn't work great was the asparagus. I cooked it for 1 minute and it was still overdone. It is a timesaver and uses much less energy than my gas stove.*
and the trivit with handles
Great video
Really like the stackable 3 pans but it doesn’t ship to my country ;-(
Great video as usual, Thanks.
Thank You for answering my question and thanks also for posting your Instant Pot videos, I’ve really learned a lot and tried a lot of new recipes.
How do I make yellow rice in this cooker... I tried and it came out mush! 10 oz package... how much water? How much time? And on the rice setting or on the pressure cook setting?
You show an egg rack/trivet but no info or link on it. I checked on Amazon and you have to buy a bunch if other things in order to get it.
Target has them
How about adding an additional pot insert for making things back to back. Do you or can you offer that?
IP makes both a stand alone SS extra pot and a cheaper non stick version... and a lid for them too... if you want to toss left overs in the fridge or combine early.
I just picked up a 3 qt Instant Pot Duo Plus Mini 3-quart, 9-in-1 Pressure Cooker at an Amazon Treasure Truck event today!
$67.99 + tax, was that a good price????
Yes!
What is the advantage or need for a mini size IP if you have the larger IP?
I love having it sitting on my counter at all times. I have a small kitchen so I wouldn't want the large one out all the time.
I am a single mom and do all of our cooking. I like to do batch cooking because we don't eat out and it makes the week easier. I don't have a mini yet but I like the idea of having my meal go in one and rice in the other. I also make my own (soy) yogurt which uses my instant pot for 14 hours and I like the thought of being able to have my yogurt going and still be able to use an ip for dinner.
what do you recommend for mini springform pans for the 3 qt?
Ugh I know I don’t need all of these accessories but I must have them all
Lol! I was thinking the same thing!
Did you say you going to show how you used these Stainless Steel Food Storage Containers or did I miss something with the clips i not sure how that works
Would these work in a 3qt airfryer..for baking ect..
Yes, I imagine they would... Except for anything glass. I wouldn't use glass in my air fryer. Also different fryers have different shape cooking baskets so I'd check the measurements before ordering to make certain they fit 🙂
@@IndigoNiliThank you for responding! not even glass bakeware?
@@imoma56 Yeah, I don't think most glass bakeware is approved for use under a broiler and I'd consider an air fryer similar enough to a broiler to play it safe. That's just my personal opinion though. 🙂
Would you recommend buying a 3qt for a single person? I just want to cook rice and veggies at the same time using the PIP method or eventually cook dry beans (about 1 pound at time)! Thank you :)
Yes! A 3qt for a single person is perfect 👌🏼👍🏼
I have an 8qt DUO also
You got the collection just like my SN friend.
I have the cosori pressure cooker of 2 qt. What you recommend me for it? Thank you
I don't have that model so I'm not sure what would fit in it
I have the Cosori 2 qt.
That would be wonderful! 🤩
Thanks Nili! Iris, the Cosori was my first, at the time the only mini available. I have added 2 Instant Pot 3 qt. Minis & since they came out, many more accessories now available. Challenging for the 2 qt. so hope this helps. I feel your pain 😂
Tip: place your pot on a piece of paper, bottom side down.
Using Nili's video as a guide:
Pyrex baking dishes - both sizes fit
Mason jars - both sizes fit
Pyrex custard cups fit
Silicone cupcake molds fit
Stainless bowl - pay attention to the lip when measuring for your pot.
The 4-egg mold is 5-¼" with a snug fit, so I would say this WILL NOT FIT in Cosori
Nesting stainless food containers - the small or medium DOES FIT.
This one does, same thing, go to Nili's store, then search for this - Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum Round Cheesecake Pan with Removable Bottom, 5 Inch x 3 Inch
That covers everything Nili showed.
Wilton 4-Inch Mini Springform Pans Set, 3-Piece for Mini Cheesecakes, Pizzas and Quiches
Fat Daddio's Anodized Aluminum Round Cake Pan, 5 Inches by 2 Inches
Wilton 2105-1829 Mini Round Pans, 4 by 1.25-Inch, Set of 3
Norpro 258 Porcelain 3-Ounce Ramekins, Set of 6
MT Products 4 1/4" Disposable Aluminum Foil Tart/Pie Pan 7/8" Deep - (50 Pieces) Go to a dollar store for these, 2 stacked will fit using double trivets
Wilton 2109-6835 Angel Food Cake Pan Set, 2-Piece, Multipack of 2 Baking, Mini 2-Pack, Assorted
Bumble Bee, White Crabmeat, 6 oz Walmart - weird, I know!
Buy a silicone mat and cut a sling out of it--then yo u don't need to throw away foil anymore.
which brand of silicone mat?
That's a brilliant idea - thank you! I hate wasting all that foil.
Or use the string normally used in roasting meats?
Great videos, helping me quite a lot. This item from your list is N/A, can you suggest something similar? I'm happy to click on your affiliate links.
Which item?
@@IndigoNili I'm not sure my comment made it, here it is again: There are two things marked as "currently unavailable: ekovana 3qt Mini Stackable Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker Steamer Insert Pans with sling handle - compatible with Instant Pot Accessories 3 quart - two interchangeable lidswww.amazon.com/dp/B07771LJKZ?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d and Chiboz Cookware 3 Qt Mini Stackable Steamer Insert Pans with Sling Handle compatible with Instant Pot 3 Quart www.amazon.com/dp/B07BJGPNPR?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d. A question: Why do you recommend both a mesh basket steamer and a perforated stainless one: House Again Original Sturdy Steamer Basket for 3 or 5 Quart Pressure Cooker www.amazon.com/dp/B07BMXCHYG?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d and
Top Rated Hatrigo Steamer Basket for Pressure Cooker Accessories 3qt www.amazon.com/dp/B0789D4TKZ?ref=exp_indigonili_dp_vv_d
where did you get the silicone egg molds that fit your 3 qt pot i cant find any other and for a 5, 6, 8 qt pots?
Nili, Would you please tell me how to get to your Amazon store and where are the links you’re referring to?
Thank You!
@@IndigoNili Thank you for the reply. Understood. I just didn't want to get the wrong thing and it looks like I would have.
ok it was the cheese cake pan. i love cheese cake .
Stainless Steel Steamer Basket with Silicone Covered Handle: Amazon reviewers state that the handle prevents the IP from closing.
Nili, I have turned into an instant pot fiend??? Have you heard any more about a version that is recommended for canning?
I haven't heard of one for canning yet! I bet if they released one it would sell like crazy!
