I think it's not the jargon that made him realise that, it's that he walked in, immediately got assigned something, doesn't know where anything is really, the general situation, he just realised he's diving in at the deep end, it's not like it was in school.

Yasss!!! Love Scrubs and am loving your videos/content! Scrub episode/reaction video I’ve alway been curious about is season 5 episode 3 “My Day at the Races”. Off the top of my head I can’t remember if the triathlon has any medical commentary or if its character/plot development but... am most interested in hearing a doctors commentary on the patient who advocated hypnosis for appendectomy surgery. 😎👍
oh yeah i remember the hypnosis episode that might be fun, thanks for the suggestion! love scrubs too, it's my second favorite medical show after house, i watched every episode of both lol. i actually have a video i recorded like a year ago of the hypnosis episode of "doctor in the house" that i still haven't gotten around to editing hahah, probably should check to see the similarities between the two first

ahh fair point, i guess it is pretty easy to feel overwhelmed when it's your first minute in the building. although he did know exactly where in the closet the trach kit was and i can't get over that so i don't know lol

I also don’t know the first thing about education in the U.S. so it could still be completely normal and I wouldn’t have a clue tbf lol
@@DrMoProductions It's also normal to page every doctor in the hospital during a code blue. Not only do they page every doctor but the page every nurse and every tech. Anyone who has healthcare training gets a page. And hospitals in the US still use pagers.

The part of the hole in the heart is so on point it makes me upset when I see it. I had a pulmonary embolism and while in the hospital all they checked was my lungs, my legs, no one checked my heart. It happened that my heart had a murmor and clots were passing by and the one that caused the PE was not the only one, I had two strokes after the PE, one the day I was released after the PE and the other one a month later. JD was sort of right.

@@DrMoProductions Doing much better. Two years and counting. They closed the hole in my heart and on anticoagulants. But alive. Poor guy on the show didn't make it. 😃

I understand the many dislikes. I appreciate the medical comments, but this is less of a genuine blind reaction, and more of a "that smug annoying friend nitpicks every scene, oh and he has control of the remote so he's pausing and rewinding constantly". You're acting so hostile, who shit in your cereal before this stream?
yeah i was wondering about the dislikes, glad to have some sort of explanation. but i watched it back and if i'm being honest i just don't see what you're saying; nitpicking and going on tangents is how i have fun reacting to things, i'm the sort of person to take ten minutes to answer any sort of would you rather question. and "hostile"? i had a blast doing that stream and this is the only other medical series i watched in its entirety back in the day, i love scrubs. so it was never meant to be a blind reaction, i was actually partial to the show not the opposite though. but i can't really ignore when someone says something that makes no sense, that would kind of defeat the purpose of a professional reacting wouldn't it? i did see your rewinding point though lol, my tangents were way too frequent and way too long my bad hahah. i'm still trying to get better at editing and cutting out the unnecessary parts, this was like only four months after i started the channel hopefully you can cut me some slack lol. thanks for the feedback!
Honestly yeah I kind of got that vibe too while watching. it felt like he was laughing AT the show instead of WITH the show. He's seen the series so I understand why he was a little lax with it and pausing when he does. This is my first time viewing anything by this youtuber so I cant say to how he normally is during his streams, but he didn't come off as hostile to me, just nitpicky and too jokey.

Hey lol good question, took me long enough to get it hahah. well initially i wasn’t comfortable putting my whole name out there because that’s how i usually use the internet, but 7 months later my first and middle names are already out there so once i randomly say my last name one day i’ll rip it off i guess lol
I judge people internally in the first minute of meeting them. Never once been wrong. People are who they are, there's no secrets to them.
i mean everyone does to some extent; but if you’ve never changed your mind on anyone in your life after the first minute, that might not be something to be proud of lol. cuz how could you possibly have a 100% accuracy right? unless maybe you don’t meet that many people, dunno

@@DrMoProductions yes. At least at every hospital I’ve worked at. Along with an overhead page asking all nearby available medical staff to respond.
wow that’s interesting, the only code blues i’ve ever heard of or seen are the ones that were already real close to me; except for in one of the hospitals i worked they also used those overhead pa announcements, but i never saw anyone that wasn’t close by bat an eye lol

This is an old show so everything is pretty outdated especially in medicine that changes every year to three years.

@@DrMoProductions This is actually amazing. You had a similarly defensive, guarded response to a criticizing comment below. It's like you reviewed an old TV episode showcasing the dreaded surgeon stereotype without any self-awareness at the cliche.
Putting yourself on a public medium for everyone to watch means you will get different opinions on your content, and some will not be positive. I can't judge the medical parts, but damn sure I can have an opinion on the youtube part, and I am truly surprised you're having such a hard time accepting that some people will simply dislike your videos.
I've seen a lot of medical professionals on youtube, from different countries, specializations and with different senses of humor, but this is the first time I've seen someone acting so consistently dumb. And I really hope that this is acting.
