The guy who does agro will nit bring him back for kids to watch because behind the scenes out takes are online and he doesn't want kids looking up agro and seeing his adult jokes. He was thinking about the kids on social media however he is willing to do a show for adult
In the 80s-90s as a kid we grew up with this show not knowing what the rude jokes meant lol It was for real made for kids, with cartoons inbetween, it was on every weekday so literally every kid watched it b4 school.
We sat down as a family and watched it.. My brother and I never understood why dad was always pissing himself laughing until we grew up and rewatched it 😂😂😂
The joke was "Why don't blind people bungie-jump?". The answer was "Because it scares their dogs!". This is the actual joke. What you might not have picked up on is, blind people use guide-dogs to get around.
It was definately a Kids Show ! I used to watch it every morning before I went to School in the late 80's early 90's! A whole Generation of kids Grew up and loved Agro !
Hey, even people who where adults at the time, liked agro, having co - hosts who were pleasant on the eye, may have helped, but damn, he was hilarious.
Agro was totally for the kids! We all loved him and never missed his show. Now as an adult listening to him is completely killing me. I'm dying with laughter about how silly and naughty he really was. Yes to improv. That's an Aussie sense of humour for you.😂😂😂
Oh yes, apparently he used to poke her to illicit a reaction. Don't know how true it is but the story was supposedly one day she was wearing a mini-skirt and a g-string and his finger accidently went into an out place.
Agro was so popular he also had an afternoon show called Wombat, which was similar but was aimed more at teens. My father used to leave the club half cut every afternoon to watch Wombat with me after school because he enjoyed Agro's humour so much. He would then go back to the club lol. There is plenty more Agro on youtube.
My parents would be watching the show with us kids and they’d be cackling their asses off and most of the jokes would go over my head. It was mostly a cartoon show with these hosts doing improv between watching kids cartoons.
The Wild thing about these outtakes is they were all put onto VHS tapes and given as gifts to staff at a channel 7 Christmas party in the early 90s, however within a few short months pirate copies were spreading around the entire country like wildfire.
@@missjayspeechley9213 Get help And to everyone else reading this please watch (Agro & Holly Brisley Reunite | Studio 10) Where Jamie.Dunn the puppeteer confirms that they never went to air.
This was a kids show, but these bits never went to air. These were outtakes, (obviously), and were part of an adults only 'bloopers' tape they compliled and played at their Christmas parties. I know, I had one, MUCH more than just Agro, hilarious, and more than one tape, I saw about three of them.
Agro was the best thing growing up, the whole family would watch it together, kids would be talking about it when they got to school, Anne Marie was a legend
Those scenes made it to air, I remember most of them, but not all from the same episode, they were cut from many episodes, this was like a "best of" compilation
I still remember Agro and Jill Ray performed at the Graceville State School Brisbane … Fete . Now I’m 50 but I can still remember it so clear. Agro is an icon . 🤗🤗🤗
Reminds me of "Hey Hey it's Saturday" that started as a kids show on Saturday mornings full of sexual innuendo that only the adults could understand. It then morphed into a legendary Saturday night show.
This was absolutely a children's show, but with the knowledge that parents are often monitoring the children, there was some humour thrown in that was there to make them laugh too, like the Early Warner Bros stuff. Of course, many of the kids got it too. Not the littler ones, of course, but the older ones sure did.
This is fully legit for kids to watch before school. They played Hanna Barbara cartons and these two were the hosts. Love this show, never got the rudeness but knew Argo was cheeky.
I grew up with Agro. Starting on Saturday mornings in Brisbane only in 1981, before becoming part of a national afternoon show called Wombat. I was a teenager by the time Agro's Cartoon Connection started. Agro's very first co-host, Fiona McDonald, died recently of MND.
I watched this in the morning as a teenager, it was a cartoon show for kid it really was. Soo funny, but went over the heads of kids, but cracked up the adults. And I believe it was live.
OMG This is bringing back memories😅 This is what we watched as kids. This shit went over our heads 😂😂😂. The saddest day of my life was when I turned the tv on to see that cartoon connection wasn’t on anymore 😢😂😂 I missed it.
I love Agro to this day it's actually a kid's show performed live in front of studio audience of kids and adults I'm 54 years of age and he still makes me laugh you have to watch more of him because in one of those episodes you actually see the person behind the puppet I missed the old carpet rug
These were definitely outtakes and didn't go to air for the kids, well not all of them. The one where the dog attacks Agro and takes him back to the bed, the dog is a Great Dane and Agro is yelling "cut to the commercial", or was it "cut to the cartoon", either way it was pretty funny.
I met Agro as a child, I won a bike from Boris breakfast show. I can’t fully remember everything but I know he said hello to me that day when I went on stage to collect the bike.
Agro starred in other shows such as Wombat and The Super Saturday show (which later became the Super Sunday show,) which also starred Ann Maree, and the late Michael Gibson, better known as 'Gibbo.'
Yes some but I think some adults watched and loved it as well. 😂😂 Most adults back then didn’t care about how rude stuff was. They knew it went over our heads.
This was on before school in the 80s with cartoons like the smurfs, captain caveman, he man masters of the universe, and a few others. More or less live

Agro was made out of an old bath mat. Yes this was a children's show.😅 kids didn't get the rude innuendos, thats why we adults used to watch it, it was part of Saturday mornings kid tv, Cartoon Connections. Love it. Still watch clips today. Pls show more.😂😂
Nope. We definitely watched Agro every morning before school 🤣
Bring him back.. The world needs Agro more now than ever.. Agro for PM..
He's an arsehole in real life though lol.
We need to get a petition to Amazon and Netflix.. they would never though hahaha
they wont bring agro back due to so many snowflakes in the country now lol
@@rcollas4795 They had him filling in on a Sydney radio for some presenter a month or so ago.

I was a child when Agro came out.....ohhhh fark, WE knew exactly what he was talking about! Forever love Agro, what a champion. X
Now you understand Aussies lol
agro is sorely needed right now.

No he isn't. He is a 1976 Hasbro Animal Muppet shaved down.
there's another aussie puppet called Dicky knee from the Hey Hey it's Saturday Show.
wasnt as funny though

Definitely improv and Definitely a children's show. Pretty sure she put up with more from the guy under the desk than the puppet.😂

haha i grew up with this as a kid, such nostalgia my library bag in primary school was an agro one 😂
It was a children’s show , it was on at 4pm weekdays. Annmarie introduced the cartoons , the Annmarie and Agro interactions were between cartoons .
I love the way the "piecost" joke went completely over your heads :)
This was seriously for kids…..but luckily, most kids had no idea what was being said. Hilarious!

Early Saturday morning cartoon show for children. And that wasn't the worst of it...
No, it was Monday to Friday.

Full kids show every morning in the early nineties 😅 classic brought up on agro 🤙🇭🇲🍻
It's true. A lot of this went to air. It was enjoyable for kids and adults alike.
The Voice actor of agro was named Jamie Dunn. He later was a radio host on a popular radio station "B105"
We loved that door mat!
A favorite childhood memory gotta love Agro
Grew up on agro. Best time to be a kid.
These are the outtakes from the show.
Agro was one of the best things on TV back in the day. No way would/could it be anywhere today...unfortunately
The Aussie TV Channels use to collect outtakes and compile End of Year Xmas tapes.
