Glad you found them useful 😃 We are happy that others can benefit from our planning-it was too much work to only be helpful for two people 😂

Just wanted to say WOW to your editing... it's AMAZING! Not to mention we also LOVE Japanese food, and hope to make it over there ourselves early next year. Looks like you guys ate your way through some incredible bites and spots. Well done, loved this, keep it up!

hmmm,... ramen isn't really that healthy so it's kind of better to avoid ... hmmm,... if you're in Kansai region I would recommend 551 Horai pork buns, tajima beef in Hyogo Prefecture, and if you're in Kinosaki Onsen in Winter there is matsubagani (snow crab). In Chiba the signature specialty fish is sardine. The freshest, best seafood I've had was in Aomori City and Hakodate,... it's so much than the stuff you get in Tokyo ...

@@explorinwithlaurin hmmm,... since we're strangers I don't know if I should give recommendations but,... if you visit Tokyo, I went to Yanaka Ginza in Taito ward for the first time last month. It's a real Tokyo " low-town " neighborhood and gets used for filming movies. It's like this is the real Tokyo and places like Shinjuku and Shibuya are utterly fake. There also seem to be a lot of neighborhood cats here. The nearby cemetery is the largest in Tokyo and has the grave of Shibusawa Eiichi, my hero.
