Thank you so much for sharing your experience in Jordan! We’re also planning to visit Jordan next month! Your videos will be very helpful. Just curious, how was your overall experience driving around the places? Was it safe? I assume you didn’t hire any guide
We did not hire a guide! We rented a car ourselves and navigation was easy with google maps. We felt very safe driving around at the end of 2021, lots of police check points on the road but they were friendly!

ME & GF spent 10 glorious days in Japan back in June. We stayed in Kyoto & Tokyo for 5 days each with day trip to Osaka & Himeji

Awesome! Wishing you a safe journey! We did not shower-just a good wipe down at camp eat night and some dry shampoo. There are showers available on the last night, but we opted out. The temperature swings quite a bit and there is no real way to predict what it will be day of, so pack plenty of layers!
@@explorinwithlaurin Those showers on the last night are COLD! I took one and it did feel a little bit reborn after all the sweat of multiple days. The sun and mountain air felt so good after I got out.

It’s the Rick Steves mobile app! There are a ton of tours for all over Europe. I used his app on my visits to France and London and it’s great!

You took a lot of taxis which I heard are very expensive. Were they?
@@19magda88 we really only took a taxi 3 or 4 times over the 10 days when the public transportation was not convenient for where we were headed or when we were short on time. In general we tried to take the public transportation or walk! We used Uber each time to call the taxi rather than trying to negotiate price on the street. I would say pricing was in line with other big cities around the world, but it was significantly more expensive than the $2-3 metro ticket.

Is there a secure place to leave your stuff before the trail ? Me and my girlfriend will be back packkng through SA and will at least have a big back pack each, a laptop i wont want to take with me etc...
@@nightporter_ yes! The expedition company stored our luggage for us. It was included in the price.
