Agreed. I've reversed the standard simple shot pouch for grip and it works great. A little tip of my own. I have a dodgy index finger on my fork hand. I recently got a sparrow and had some difficulty. I reversed it and banded it up. It shoots just as well and I have the flat face to brace against. 😉
As always very good. I will tell you another training tip that helps. The stronger your pinch the more control you have. I take a clothes pin and put dental rubber bands around the end and then pinch and release. You can use different tempo for the reps but it will help you release!
I use a resin bag like you would for base ball powder the pouch and my fingers. Get a lot cleaner release because you don't have to pinch so hard to maintain your grip
I live in a very hot climate & the fingers sweat & make it hard to hold the draw. I’ve been wanting to try the Pinch Pouch Nathan recommended but they have been out of stock for a long time.
Hey, just got my hornet slingshot with the setup that comes with it, when using 1/4 inch shot the shot pulls through the hole in the pouch, am I doing something wrong or is the setup for larger ammo? Also what happens if I plug the hole ?
@@simpleshot 3/8 seemed pretty slow and had a significant arch so I just assumed lighter ammo would be better but I'm really new to slingshots. I glued a patch over the hole in the pouch and it didn't seem to affect anything, thanks for the response
@@simpleshot I have a slight tear in the band already near the pouch, it's about 3/8 of an inch from the pouch, going to try to shorten the bands and re tie the pouch
Some tips that i found is using chalk, just apply on your thumb and finger, So it's not slippery when holding the pouch this tips that i found in catty shack john wayne, goodluck!

Love it!
@@simpleshot As you do your pinch workout, try and freely move your other fingers, interesting!
Thanks for such a good video keep up the good work!!!

Those bands are best suited for 3/8" and 7/16" steel ammo.
