    Hi Andy Super video and super bargain haul. I'm behind on some of your videos so catching up. This is probably one of the best hauls so far. In particular the tank destroyer models which I'd like to see on open the box. The War correspondence team and rocket launcher kits. The Styer and 1/24 staff car with extra level of detail. Thanks again Dean.

    What a haul !. There still are bargains to be had. I recently built the Svezda M4A3 and a T34 both in 1/35 and was seriously surprised at the quality of the kits. They were much cheaper than the exorbitant prices for Tamiya kits at least here in Australia. I'd be interested to hear your views on the motorcycle kit. I did find that the plastic is softer than other brand kits.

    Hi Andy thanks for the reply but you picked a great deal there. Super. Hmmm just got me thinking though about whether one can also pick up a good haul on airbrushes, fittings, quick release couplings. I know I had an Iwata airbrush that required a new 3.5 mm and reviewed the prices on average for a new one approx £35 but managed to pick up one on Ebay for about £5 that fitted well. Deals to be had and something perhaps maybe in the future also to look at. Thanks again Dean.

      I am currently still using my £15 Amazon paint brush set, plus a few freebies, i have a bunch of others to replace them with, sitting on a bunch of ideas at the moment, paint brushes is one of them. Will be a while before airbrush upgrade though as an idea i will certainly have a go at it, though currently just using £20 "disposable LOL" airbrushes as until i am confident with the whole cleaning and maintenance aspect, this seems the logical way to go.

    Hi Andy . A very nice haul there. Also some good bargains. For me it would be the Tamiya Steyr, then the cargo truck ( Triple duece ). Then the Sherman and then the Panther. The last two are pretty straightforward builds but there is a lot of choice on the finish. I havs the Steyr and I have the Black Dog resin set for it ,its a very comprehensive set. The rocket trucks look interesting and you got a great result on that one. I look forward to seeing the G4 as they were big vehicles and in 1/25th it must be huge. Remember bud the bigger the model the more details you will have to add. Your a bit like a drug dealer for guys like me , you give us our fix of plastic but in this case we don,t have to pay for it. Your building up a big old stash there buddy. I hope that you get to build them all. Someone used to say to me " are you ever going to build them all "? The answer is no of course. But its nice to be able to sit there and fantasise about our future builds. Thanks for the video. Good luck bud.

      @TheNoviceModeller  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      LOL i remember past conversations about the G4, i thought you might like that one. i was particularly happy to get the Steyr and the SU85, so cheaply, the rocket trucks were randomly found on a sellers sight i regularly visit, he had the single and the multiple set up for the same price with free p&p, it was a no brainer.

      @@TheNoviceModeller Hi Andy. I think that guy might realise what he did when he notices what model he just got rid of. Two for the price of one os always a bargain, so well done mate. As for the G4 , yeah I just don,t know what it is about that motor. I remember watching something on youtube about Mussolini's one. It was a gift from Hitler and it still exists and works. They also showed one driving around. Mercedes made a new version of it and you can see Richard Hammond drive it in the desert on Top gear. It a completely different beast. Thanks for thinking of me on that one bud. Good luck.

    57$ for 3 tamiya 1/35 kits that easily can be sold at 100$ is an extremely good offer
    Here in Argentina importing kits from Ebay or foreigner countries is very expensive, mostly paying up to twice the price just because of taxes, but some people are saying that soon most of them will be removed and it will be easier to buy from other countries so im quite excited to see if it really happens cause i want to buy a lot from ebay

    • @TheNoviceModeller
      @TheNoviceModeller  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      hello again @EstudioHikari. i have actually bought stuff from Germany, Poland, Ukraine & New Zealand via ebay and on all occasions i paid less with the postage and tax than i could get the same items for from the UK, the kits from Poland were just regular kits, the others were pretty specific, pretty hard to get kits. i am probably going to do a follow up video to this with these kits in a few weeks. Though having spoke to some Americans they seem to struggle to get some of the European kits, i was told that the U.S has no official Miniart stockists at all; so i understand that possibly you suffer the same situation in Argentina also.

I've been looking for some kits from that Russian company out of curiosity, actually had a chance to exchange comments with a Russian chap, but have to be careful as Big Brother is listening on both sides. Odd that ICM would make Russian equipment. Sorry about the Shiner beer , a plaque won't do you good. However when you make that Russian kit are you going to try some Russian Borscht :-) I suspect Vodka. Couple of times a week I check eBay as well. No bargains yet but I'm hoping. Thanks Bob, did good on some of them. I have been very reluctant to buy Zvezda for reasons, however i wanted a Russian motorcycle and that was the only one i could find. LOL ICM do a 1936 Packard 12 (35535), the Russians had 4 shipped over in the 30's for the personal use of Stalin and his groupies, the kit comes with Stalin & 3 of his chums, so much for the decadence of democracy blah blah. there is a internet retailer that i have used, they have a trade site also, not sure what you have to do, but guess it would just be the normal business registration stuff. Have also bought from two separate ebay traders and the kits and invoices both came from a different company, so i guess drop shipping, i kept the invoices but again haven't inquired as to the hows and whys.
