19:32 Wed Jun 19th 2024. Hello Grif, all I can say is Wow. All of the food on the buffet is just crazy good looking. And I can tell that it's a quality buffet and you totally enjoyed it. Stay healthy and safe travels 🧳. Until your next 🎥 video. 23:14
Hi. I thiink you better stay in manila for a longer period of time and explore more of hotel casino’s buffet like solaire resorts and casino, city of dreams, newport world resorts, shangri-la bgc and makati, grand hyatt hotel in bgc sheraton manila, hilton hotel, Manila hotel, Peninsula manila and many more… there’s so much to explore here. 🥰
I plan to move to the Philippines.I'm already retired the problem.I'm gonna have is there's very little beef. This is gonna be a serious problem for me.I live on beef. There are no beef cattle farms in the Philippines. That's gonna be a problem
Best of luck on your move. I heard you can have beef delivered online, with cattle from Australia. So that is an option for you, should you need beef. Hope this information is helpful.
Who told you there's little beef here? We have beef in supermarkets and if you want fresh affordable beef, Tagaytay is the place to go. Do your research and make sure to verify your sources because clearly you're getting wrong information. If it was lamb, I will agree with you.
You can try also in spiral buffet in sofitel manila, its around 90 to 100 dollars per head, they have cheese room and drinks included and wide varieties of dishes around the world.
Medley Buffet at Okada is one of the best in Manila. I think the one in Sofitel is closed. . Solaire's Fresh buffet and the one in Manila Hotel are also good. 👍
Wow! How i wish i can try and taste those yummy food especially the cheese plate i never tried that promise. Thanks for sharing the video that makes me feel like i already tried it but only in my imaginations.
Does the lunch and dinner buffet have the same food options? Or much more food options in the dinner? same value for the money hope for an answer, thanks and God bless!
To be honest, I don't know because we only went for the weekday lunch buffet. I would recommend checking out their website to see more detailed information. But I do know the price of the lunch and dinner buffets are different. I believe the dinner is around 3400 PHP or $58 USD for weekday dinner. Weekend prices differ.
I can not wait to visit the philippines again! More so, to stay in okada and try the medley buffet. Is okada's medley buffet owned by station casinos property? Out of all the reviews your is very enticing and relaxing.
@@grifsfoodandtravel oh 🤣 because here in vegas we got the medley buffet that is owned and operated by the station casiono property. Just curious. Thank you for responding though ❤️
That is not ceviche... that is kinilaw. People keep on promoting it as "Filipino Ceviche" which distorts its history and I find that to be very annoying. Pre-colonial Native Americans and pre-colonial Filipinos both ate raw fish, but the natives of the Americas used local sour fruits, while pre-colonial Filipinos used both vinegar and citrus fruits to marinade the raw fish in, (by the way, citrus fruits are native to Asia)... What happened is that the Spaniards saw the natives of the Philippines preparing Kinilaw with citrus and vinegar and they brought that concept back to the Americas. So basically, chili peppers which originated in the Americas was introduced to Asia and had a huge impact on Asian cuisine, while citrus fruits which originated in Asia was introduced to the Americas and had a huge impact on Latin American cuisine.

Thanks so much for your advice and support!
I didn't see you go to the Chinese, Indian and Korean section.
Ate a little grilled pork belly from Korean station. But skipped Indian and Chinese, as there was too much other new foods I wanted to try.

Wow, that is an amazing list. I'll be sure to check out another hotel casino buffet on my next visit. Thank you for the recommendations!
The no time-limit policy is what makes that buffet worthwhile. You should have eaten the flower in the panna cotta.
Yes, it was more enjoyable and relaxing not having to rush.

@@bambideguia Easy, it’s good to provide information, but criticism doesn’t do well with people.
Great Fancy Buffet !!! Too bad the price is out of reach for ordinary Filipinos.
Yes, awesome buffet!

the Spiral Buffet in Sofitel (also there in Pasay) is the biggest buffet in the country
I've heard that the Spiral is a good buffet. Next on my list of buffets to try! Thank you!
The hotel sofitel is close now.
@@katenriquez1534 yeah i just found out recently too, unfortunate
This guy knows good food. I should go and try this place
Definitely one of my favorite buffets of all time!
Wowza! That buffet looked amazing. Thanks for sharing Grif 🤙
By far, one of the best buffets I've been to. Thanks for watching!
Unlimited drinks too? Yum sashimi 👌
Yes, unlimited drinks too! I'm not a big white wine drinker, but this one was really good and went well with our meal.
Get a little bit of taste of everything so you can taste it. You can't put all. Too much consumption of food may lead to sickness.🤙
$46 with unlimited wine and beer is worth it.
So worth it!
More cheaper but the food is better and amazing!😊
You can eat that much!? 😂
Oh yeah, all apart of the job. 🤣
How much is the buffet?
You can check the description box for all pricing and location of the buffet. Thanks for watching!

why should hiold your wine glass by the stem, that's what it's there for
You are correct. Too used to drinking beer. 🍺 😂 Thank you for watching and pointing that out.
